Revolva: Oma ibaji omi che- ibaji means river settlers - ibe- people aji-river (ibe aji)ibaji - river people are igalas found around the river niger bank which flows south to the east and south south ...we speak our dialect of igala -but there are some part that faces anambra and am sure its where oil is found -due to the fact they intermarry with igbos and speak the language -look in ma village we have a lot of igbos here we don't discriminate them-but I don't know why anambra people look down upon us igalas callin us names we are not- its a shame to you anambarians who don't know about ur common tradition with igalas- we share almost the same diety - market days-i have many anambra friends you may tink am igbo also that shows toleration but some ewu nnama bigot is here callin igalaman fulani -hahaha due to tje fact that some igalas are muslim _remember its just a religion forced on us even christianity also is not ours as africanThey are attacking because of acidosis and some of the other northerners and one Yoruba words. Rather than taking their anger on the right community, they took their anger out on igala. Based on the replies, they made the assumption the attackers were igalas. The Anambra community has mouth, insult them or igbo and they are quick to fight you without looking back. Just bear with it and i apologize on their behalf. You can't really blame them can you, ppl were insulting their community and igbo as in total, they felt compelled to insult back. Though their assumption, forced them to misdirect to innocent individuals. Anyway, i highly doubt the Anambra hate the igala indigenous within their community unless we would have heard about clashes between the two communities within the state and till this date, there's never been a documented clash. As for the oil, it was discovered within alugeri clan area is it not? |
Noiseless2: And many of the so called kogi people in this thread are actually not even from Igala, so it's what the Yorubas and hausa/fulanis do always with fake ids claiming other communities, some even sign in as Igbos too just to say horrible things against the Igalas hope you know it's nairaland after all.Revolva and the anambra igala boy are the only igala's whose spoken on this thread thus far. The rest are the people you mentioned. All ppl need to do is click on an individual past post, most ppl on NL have identified their community one time or another. I don't get why some igbos don't do that. It would save them alot of trouble attacking innocent community for no reason. My own little intake |
bashr8: i think orient petroleum should just cancel any exploration outside anambra to avoid confusion and controversy .Probably the best solution. |
redsquare: Mister, if you like let your village Igbedor be Kanuri or Fulfulde speaking part, it is not in my Anambra state. As far as i am concerned, Anambra is a homogeneous Igbo state, your Igala people are not even up to 0.001% of the population, so shove your f.cuking legend up your a.rse. You guys would soon join your Almajiri brothers in your Boko Haram republic, we dont want you. Gerrit? Smh |
Don't pick a war with ppl that are your friends on this site and out. I'm noticing some Igalas that've always been nothing but nice to Igbo on NL gearing up for attack. Ex: revolva. I understand why the Igbos are retaliating too but una are here attacking the wrong community. The Igala's have been our friends on this forum, take ur anger out on the mischievous outsiders that came into this thread to cause wahalla or better yet, ignore the mischievous outsiders. Shikena |
So let me get this straight. Most of the oil discovered is in Anambra with a small portion in Enugu, Kogi, and Delta. Because of that small portion, kogi state wants to lay claim for oil found predominantly in Anambra. SMH. Greediness is such an ugly trait. Ask for compensation. This oil sef, what a curse. |
mathskill: Was it sambo that accepted his resignationNo. Sambo had no activity in the outcome of the situation. Everything transpired between GEJ and Nnadi. It is just beer parlour rumors. |
FSU: You sure need to do the apology. I dey waitChei see him putting me on blast. Okay Mazi FSU I bring 5 kolanuts, 50 pound goatmeat and 7 kegs of palmwine to beg for your forgiveness A di kwa m sorry |
rhymz: hahahahaha. . You are a typical Nigerian, unneccessarily combative. Anyway, you be my brother, we no suppose fight for here, na when we dey our village meeting I go tidy your Bleep up. . Lol. . But whatever the history between the two of you, you just need to cool off small sha @ the highlighted words. We shall see I have no bad history with FSU, at least I don't think I do. I just felt his post to me had a hint of an attitude, if it didn't, I would stand corrected and I would gladly come back and apologize to him for accusing him wrongly. I have no wahalla whatsoever with him |
Mr.chippychappy:I know the activity of both Mukina and Aishatu. There's a member that goes by the name Seunn, I believe also that is seun's id and all he does is go around posting inflammatory comments about Igbo. It's all Good, let them continue. They remind me of the neo-nazi's. A desperate, pathetic, group of people that needed a place to make their miserable life worth while. I read from an old thread, that they started this sh1t since the beginning of NL thus I'm not surprised how much it has increased. |
rhymz: o boy na u suppose swallow some chill pill, I no see wetin him talk wey make you dey answer like you are doing. . . . .take your own advice. Like you were expecting him to be that way to you or sth.Nwokem wetin concern you sef? The conversation is between FSU and me. If I read it and sensed an attitude and you read it and sensed a non-attitude, and so what? The words were directed to me and it looked like he replied with an attitude. If he didn't, let him say so himself. Na wa o! |
Mr.chippychappy:I find their hypocritical attitude daunting but wetin man except. The owners of NL oozes tribalism. I guess they do not want you or anyother Igbo playing the game they started. I find it comical despite all their efforts (aka desperately searching an article about an Igbo criminal, posting it on NL and quickly sending it to the frontpage), it's still their tribe with the bad searches on google. I find that very comical. It is like trying to cause harm to someone but instead, it backfires and the harm directs exactly at them. |
So which story should we believe? An article discussing GEJ interview in Onitsha stated the president mentioned directly "Nnaji resigned" or to quote him specifically "nnamdi gave away" thus how come this article saying otherwise. As some mention, this is a hogwash article, just a beer parlor rumour. Nothing more, nothing less. |
FSU: Duh! Anambra is about 4 million people. So not everyone can work in the oil companies that will follow this development. Besides, it is a private investment that will employe only the qualified at all cadres. It is not NNPC where anything goes. So the majority of Anambra people will still carry on with regular schedulesDid you have to get an attitude? Jeez read a statement carefully and analyze what a person is saying before putting on an armor for battle. All that statement implied was it would be beneficial to Anambra if it diversified it's income and rely on both the commercial aspect and oil aspect. Something most oil producing states haven't fathomed yet. Most of the oil producing states tend to disregard the other aspect of their economy and rely soley on the income oil. God dude, una need to learn how to chillax. |
musiwa6: most of this inform are 419 information, this is why boko haram is bombing you. instead of resolving the issue of satellite picture.. it looks like you are telling lies to make the case worst. the word of God says, no man who cover his sin shall success.Musiwa. You have a way to confuse a person. Na talent be that, nwokem nothing do you Musiwa ![]() |
badlucky: Hmmmm. Commercial state turns oil state. I hope they won't abandon buying and sellingExactly my thought. I hope they stick to the business aspect of their lifestyle too. |
PapaBrowne: Nigeria is changing. So a minister of a highly lucrative portfolio during a privatization exercise can resign for the sake of a transparent process!! Hmmm!!Exacto Mundo. A highly approved act from Nnaji. GEJ is working, people criticize him but so far his administration is working in some departments while in some, it's lacking. |
If Nigeria cannot separate completely from eachother, the best solution imho, I believe this is the second best. I give 100% support to this. I am amazed how Nigerian politicians continue to ignore a very good advice given to them by I think as of now, every region in Nigeria. SMH, this leaders care more about themselves than what the people want. |
Hmm na wa ooo!! I don't understand wetin concern yorubas with the aftermath of massob or biafra. Jeez every thread, every mf thread, concerning massob, biafra or igbo. You ppl flood it posting sh1t. I have never seen any other group post nor this obsessed. For Godsake, butt out. Stop attention seeking. Am i the only one getting annoyed with this sh1t? Anytime they post, it usually result to individuals retaliating. From there, nonsense comes in and a potential Good thread turns to sh1t. Mscheww. God it's damn near annoying. |
Prince saha: I have seen Massob guys severally at Onitsha with bare hands fighting armed cops to a standstill. Even at nnewi, i saw some cops brutally wounded and about two of them lost their lives when they attack unarmed massob members. Those ibo dudes get jazz nobi small. I have seen them challenging heavily armed robbers with sticks and shovels. One thing i can give Massob is that they are brave. I don't understand how they usually go barehanded after criminals with weapon and those thugs that call themselves Nigerian police. They got balls i give them that but its stupid. They need to learn how to pick up a gun. |
gbanikiti: was that why she banned me? Now I can see the reason.seems tribalism has come to stay.ok na.It's because you told the truth about them. They do not like that. Afam4eva had the same experience. |
^^^They banned u for posting dis thread. Hmm interesting. |
^^^dude na attention you dey look. Biko nu give this guy the attention. I'm not one to do so, someone else pls do so. Hapu m |
