Have we ever thought about the awe and wonder of creationg. Have we thought about the Expansion of Universe and the Discovery of the Big-Bang. How matter and materials that make up the universe and our world are fined-tuned in most perfect agreement and unbelievable unison. The Big-Bang point to the fact that matter in the universe was compacted in a single point-mass that had "zero volume" because of its immense gravitational force. Our universe came into being as the result of the explosion of this point-mass that had zero volume. The truth is that something that has zero volume is tantamount to saying that it is "nothing". The whole universe was created from this "nothing". The materials and the soul will live together in whatever living cell until its apointed time to die. Be it cloned or not cloned. God is great. |
Niflheim: @BLINK 182,SO GOD HAS GIVEN CHRISTIANS A SOUNDER MIND?YOU ARE THE BIGGEST IDIOT ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH FOR MAKING SUCH A FOOLISH STATEMENT.IS IT NOT ANGLICAN CHRISTIANS WHO MARRY MEN IN THE CHURCH AND YET YOU CLAIM THAT YOU HAVE A SOUNDER MIND.GO TO AKWA IBOM AND SEE THE NUMBER OF LITTLE KIDS THAT WERE ROASTED ALIVE BY YOUR WICKED CHRISTIAN FRIENDS AND TELL ME WHETHER YOU HAVE A SOUND MIND.YOU DEPEND ON ATHEISTS WHO INVENTED THE INTERNET AND ALL YOUR FANCY GADGETS AND NOW YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT BASTARDS WHEN IT IS INFACT THE CHRISTIANS WHO ARE BASTARDS.GO AND SEE THE SNAKE HANDLING PASTORS WHO CARRY POISONOUS SNAKES TO THE ALTAR AND WHEN IT BITES THEM,THEY SAY IT IS THE WILL OF THE LORD.BIG FOOLS IN CHRISTIANITY LIKE YOU ARE GOING NOWHERE BECAUSE YOU ARE A SLAVE!!!Hey,hey! Who are these atheist that invented the internet? This is what you believe. So internet brewed out from the knowledge of these atheist. Get life my brother, kindly argue constructively. Science and technology is the domain of man as envisioned in mind and translated in brain, the theatre of existence as programmed by God. Knowleged world as we have it today is a bank that was made rich by man-male,female, theist, atheist, white, black, young and old. Read wide and consult sincerely before making a claim or what have you. |
The problem with the materialist/atheist is that they fail what they need comprehend in their argument about existence and fallacy they aclaimed of creation. Why can't they get all their material synthesised from the laboratory instead of extracting these things from the beign created by God. May I ask you this: "Does the materials for cloning comes from living cells with souls or non-living cells or dead beign". The explanation for the need for the souls to be present in the cloning beigns be it animal or human. Mind you, the faith you need to believe there is creator called God-Allah is far less than the faith needed to prove that God does not exist. |
ebamma: why is it illegal,so now if i have a company of mine and i named it Atc enterprises and after 10yrs i wish to rename it Btc enterprises, will dat be illegal?unilag is fg property not lagos state's,the fg has every legal right to rename it.Read the gibberish you soooo write! If you are required to change your company name, there must be a recourse to law and the procedure that establish your company's name the first place. Again, can you just change your name and start to bear another. Well, you have every right to your name. But you can't just change your name as there are procedures to follow before you will be a legal owner of the new name given to your self. Why affidavit for change of name? Haba! Teenagers have flooded Nairaland these days. |
Africa without The Horn is Africa without Poverty, Famine, War and diseases. Since I know the wrong from right in my life. I have ever know the horn of Africa as people with pity. Why take this issue important. Surprised! A Somali can boast, what is wonder again in this world. Really agape. |

hans22: The commercial way our churches are being run is not christ like. What baffles me most are the foolish followers that willingly and gullibly pass on thier hard earned money ibn the name of reaping elusive blessings.Jesus will deny them by distroying their temple turned stock excahnge. |
francis247: I'm a CHELSEA fan but I think the guy asked a sensible question. There are horses, elephants tigers, lions, and other stronger and gifted animals of great qualities, if one should be painted a Chelsea logo; why aGo face cow for kara with red vest now. |
pro01: Interesting topic. Party true. From my experience, the lines between IQ and EQ are a bit blurred, especially when you're talking about overral intelligence. That's why, for instance, you hear some people say stuff like. . ."I no say I no sabi book oh, but I sharp die", or that "he is quite intelligent academically, but hands on he is not so useful". It's all neither here nor there.Good reply you have here. But come to think of this, how can an EQ be relevant in the absence of IQ either low or high. I believe while high IQ individuals command followership by default, low and above average IQ persons need hardwork and good attitude to climb the ladder of success. |
I always get dazed with wonder that many Nigerian youths find it difficult engaging in intellectual discurse. It this thread is tribal, by now NL cuber-knights would have pussed the battle to ring 100 (100 page I mean). Sorry for our education system. |
Really enjoy the piece but am wondering, what special thing did Madonna do with her high IQ ?
Madonna attended Rochester Adams High School where she became a straight-A student and a member of the cheerleading squad. After graduating, she received a dance scholarship to the University of Michigan. Madonna is an American singer, songwriter, actress and entrepreneur. She has sold more than 300 million records worldwide and is recognized as the world's top-selling female recording artist of all time by Guinness World Records. Considered to be one of the "25 Most Powerful Women of the Past Century" by Time for being an influential figure in contemporary music, she is known for continuously reinventing both her music and image, and for retaining a standard of autonomy within the recording industry. Critics have praised her diverse musical productions which have also served as a lightning rod for controversy. |
Of course not. People with high IQ(geniuses)are easily spoted because of the extraordinary and array of works with undisputable radiance of uniquness they achieve. Again, these people are no doubt a glow of intelligence because they are rare among humans. Moreover, people with above average IQ(smart people) need a show of consistency in hardwork and fine attitude to be distinguished. The hardwork, resillence and its like are found wanting among most of the smart ones. The reason most of them never live their dream. Against the geniuses who always dream and live in their world devoid of riches and affluence, the world of flowing intelligence that can't be overshadow. They too(the geniuses) need hardwork, but the bulk of this is done for them by the smarts. The case of Lewis Latimer and Thomas Edison; I believe Latimer is the genius while Edison is the smart guy. |
^^ ...of course BIAFRA was buried with Ojukwu. |

Let’s re-act Western Region era show March 7, 2012 Between 1963, when Nigeria became a republic, and 1966, when the first coup took place, Western Region was at the front-burner, dictating the pace and trend of development in Nigeria. Late Chief Obafemi Awolowo was the technocrat and philosopher that had the visions and the leadership qualities to turn them into missions. He was ably supported by those that shared and believed in these missions. The then Western Region ran a people-friendly government, a ‘lean politics’ in which the results exceeded the means of achieving them. It was a result-oriented government targeting sustainability more than ostentation and show-off. We had free education in all parts of the region; had income from cocoa exportation; had palm oil, yam and cassava, and the best industrial estates in Nigeria. Belonging to the region were Ikeja Industrial Estate covering Oba Akran and Adeniyi Jones Street, and Oluyole and Oke-Ado Industrial Estates in Ibadan. The industrial estate in Ikeja was home to many industries. Ogun State had an industrial estate in Abule-Owu after the Neuro Psychiatric Hospital at Aro. Everything was going on fine, and the region was the pride of Nigeria. Our pride as Yoruba lies in our unity and our mother-tongue. The military misgovernance of the country, unfortunately, destroyed our federalism and put in place a culture of dictatorship and command from the centre according to military structure. The governments of the military opportunists were run on centrality of power to cow and oppress the states and developments were not evenly spread. We relinquished our sovereignty because these periods were era of “rules by the gun” and no normal mortal dare challenge their misrule. Awolowo gave the Western Region many firsts. Western State Broadcasting Corporation came before the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria. The region also had the first television house in Nigeria; the government established the first private university in Ife and we were always challenging the leaders at the centre. The Polytechnic at Ibadan and the research institutes were innovations of the Western regional government. We settled our differences amicably and it is no surprise that Agege, which was part of Western Region was ceded to Lagos State. Ibadan served as the capital of Western Region from 1951 and the whole of South-West from 1046. With its strategic location on the railway lines linking Lagos to the north, the city was a major centre for trade in cassava, cocoa, cotton, timber, rubber, and palm oil. The main industries in the area were tyre rethreading, cigarettes manufacturing and the food processing. International Institute of Tropical Agriculture located its investment in Ibadan. It is interesting to note that the Western Region had a television station before Scotland in the United Kingdom. Some parts of the Region had electricity before Inverness in the highland of Scotland but today Inverness, a rural city in Scotland, is more sustainably developed than any part of the old Western Region. We excelled in education, sports, industry and in infrastructural development and our culture was our symbol. We have lost greatly in this union we cast our all but the investment is so enormous that integration and not seccession is our best bet. Our resolve, and it’s our last shot in our efforts to forge ahead disregarding all obstacles, is to be stronger as ever in our determination to leave a lasting legacy for our children and our children’s children. History and the god of fortune will not forgive us if we fail to act now. If the whole refuses to move, what is wrong in a part moving it forward as a people on issues that affect our collective stand. It is our collective resolve to develop the parts that make up the whole. It is now our challenge to re-act the Western Region era show. With a stronger region through collaboration of the states in the South-West, Edo and Delta who share the same culture and aspirations, Nigeria will be great again. Switzerland has no petroleum and is self-sustaining. The United Kingdom, where our people are running to for work and to spend retirement, has lesser petroleum reserve than Nigeria and yet they are greater. If the current South-West states can harness our resources as a unified nation with common approach to solving our common problems; if we can re-act the Awolowo era show, not only the South-West states, but Nigeria will be greater. Olufemi Oyedele. |

NL at it again. How can one compare a criminal and coward named ojukwu whose funeral was of mixed feelings. A forgoten whose dead only brought sympathy. It is the dead that people honour not coward like ojukwu. Abiola is a Yoruba war general (Aare Ona kakanfo). He fought till the end despite living a life adorn with honour, fame and riches. His struggle make a Military dictator (Babangida-the Maradona) unpopular. His struggle rendered Nigeria ungovernable for years. His struggle totered Nigeria to a path of collapse. His struggle cause the death of Nigeria most feared military totalitarian, a general in Army (Late Sanni Abacha). His struggle bring democracy to the shoreline of Nigeria. The only Nigerian that ever won free and fear election. Arguably the best election in Black-Africa. On muslim-muslim ticket with overwhelming turnout from all parts of Nigeria from N,NE,NC,NW,SW,SE,SS. When will Nigeria witness this avalanche in her political history again. Ojukwu, an oxford graduate and Major in the Nigerian Army that led his people to a war without intelligence. A commander that fled the frontline, abandoning thousands of his men and millions of civilian that believes in his propaganda war to face "mid-night sun". Ojukwu as a failled soldier, equally unachieving politician that can not win his people (Biafra) votes. Never mention ojukwu in the league of Chief Bashorun Moshood Kasimawo Olawale Abiola. The Bashorun whose course change Nigeria course of History forever. |
YES, foreign reserves dictate how healthy and rich a country economy and its outlook. |
^^ these are assets of the central bank of Nigeria held in different reserve currencies, majorly in US Dollars. |
This madness can only happen under the wreckage of intellectualism afforded us by the Mr. SLS, the CBN dictator. |
^^ evidence of his being delusional. |
No doubt, it's in civilisation and a society as this that this non directional wind as he is can get celebrated. What has been his achievement, his direction and future he rallies for this economy? How is Nigeria economy doing in permutation and combination? What is inflation ticking at the moment, the strength of the nation currency and the confidence of investors in the economy? And also, the success story Nigerians write in this economy enclave. This unlettered economist only make noise of the problems on ground, the problems that we all know about and then do nothing to address them. May be his believe is that trial and errors make the economy a success story. Mr. SLS, magician of present day Nigeria. Sorry to disappoint you SLS disciples, your master can't give what he does not have. Economics is not rice and beans. The worst CBN governor this country has ever known. |
His reasoning has indeed reached the point at low bottom. This is evident in the kind of education he benefited from. A half-baked educated fellow he is, they are ususally worse than the illiterate. Why the suit, the spectacles, the banana in the tray. Can't he get a website for banana distribution, across homes, offices around the city. I'm disappointed he can't think better, a product of pitiable education system. What a shame, a graduate indeed. |
