The motive is to give EQUAL voice to each geopolitical zone in Nigeria, since Federal Govt business is now conducted using those zones. We are even forgetting for a second that ndigbo are a majority tribe in Nigeria. We are only asking for equality of zones. Or do you think that if Igboland was not balkanized and left in SS, we won't have enough space for 7 Igbo states?
We won't condone this back door marginalization scheme because the Hausa won't take the same treatment, neither would the Yoruba.
That is how you should see it.  Either a 6th or 7th state in the SE zone or let every geopolitical zone be the federating units whereby each has equal voice at the center. Period.

Any country that kills her own citizens either directly or indirectly CAN NEVER BE A GIANT in my own book!

I don't follow your logic.  The only thing I can deduce from your position is that Igbos in Rivers are marginalizing Ijaws(please provide evidence ); therefore Ijaws must help others to marginalize Ndigbo in Nigeria.
I hope you know the full import of that mindset and the consequences.
Rivers politics can never be compared to Nigerian NATIONAL politics.

Everybody is just saying his mind. I believe that those asking for 6 or 7 SE states will not reject an Anioma state if it would join SE. The need for one more SE state is because we are being marginalized in Nigeria with 5 states while others have 6.

It shows in how we are treated by the federal government. They are scheming to make us minority in Nigeria; but that shows how stuuuupid Nigerian leaders are.

IT IS IMPOSSIBLE!    

But I know that one of these days, it will become apparent to all that Ndigbo cannot be marginalized without a SERIOUS consequence to the Nigerian nation.  

Between now and next year, I think Ndigbo should put MAXIMUM pressure on PDP.  

When the Igbo nation exerts the full weight of our population, resources, connections and ubiquity in Nigeria, believe me PDP will go extinct.  

Take a look at Federal roads in Igboland, where PDP held sway since 1999.
Even other regions under opposition parties are doing better and even getting more federal road projects, while ours remain death traps.

Thunder go fire the mouth of any Igbo wey mention PDP to me again. Nonsense.

I have realized that Ndigbo need some serious home thinking.
We can't have that home thinking with PDP stealing stuff and sharing among thieving cronies and turn coats in Igboland.

PDP is already losing states gradually.

They will most likely lose more states in 2015. If I have my way, they will lose ALL SE states.

I am a little bit perturbed about your emphasis on statistic. I think it is exaggerated in that case with bikini than in real life but, it doesn't negate the fact that there are evidences to what it referred in your statement - if I quite understood you correctly. On the other hand, the problems stemmed from corruption and partiality the ethnicity has played in the nation, if not we would long be unwavering giant it the first republic.

However, I can see a problem with the autonomous united regions you are alluding to in your previous comment.

Yes, you can't mess with Brit citizen that is due to the fact that the Brits have long history of spreading its power - it was a superpower and through colonization(Commonwealth still existing) ! That, I think is the basic reason why the Brits still command respect all over the world. Not just the political system as per se the govt. of a nation or else there are handful small nations with well structured political system yet their citizens are likely to be relegated to the back ground when things matter.

Honestly, I have a solid case for what I'm advocating. I've been on this site for at least two years.
Britain is strong mainly because she discovered the best system for herself -four country in one. It works.
Nigeria has suffered political instability for 50 years plus. If that is not long enough, then I can see why Africans are laughing when we call Nigeria giant.
If four countries in one is good for Britain, why can't it be good for Nigeria?
Today, Nigeria can't even stare down Cameroon (and quickly handed over Bakassi) because Nigeria cannot really win a war against Cameroon, with all these internal problems.
I don't know about you. Me I want a real giant biko.

We cannot achieve it without POLITICAL STABILITY.

We will remain a "potential giant" forever, to the amusement of our rivals in the international arena.

[/b]That's where you go for information on these things, not your local beer parlour or online chatroom.

I would like to see similar projections from the same bodies in 1960, or 1970.
Projections are projections.

All I know is that no part of Nigeria enjoys 24 hour electricity, while our neighbor Cameroon has been enjoying it for decades. Meanwhile, looking at these types of statistics, a rational person would start to wonder.

I am not advocating a "gradual disintegration" of Nigeria. I am advocating a political RESTRUCTURING of Nigeria, for sustainability, stability and SOLIDITY.
I need a country that can defend the rights of Nigerians both at home and abroad.
You don't mess with a British citizen no matter where they may reside in the world.
