PoliticsRe: Government To Investigate Emeagwali by Onlytruth(m): 7:06pm On Nov 08, 2010
The guy left Nigeria a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooog time ago. He made ALL his academic achievements OUTSIDE NIGERIA using FOREIGN scholarship. I even believe the guy left as a BIAFRAN. He obviously started accepting Nigeria only recently (I think after Clinton's visit to Nigeria).

So, what baffles me is how a news source with any claims to legitimacy could claim that the Nigerian government can investigate Emeagwali for ANY of his conducts when the guy is NOT even a Nigerian. LUDICROUS.

If there is any iota of truth in this, his next move would (and should be ) to slap any Nigerian official who dares to contact him with a Nigerian passport.
PoliticsRe: Osisikankwu Must Be Rejected As A Common Criminal by Onlytruth(m): 10:45pm On Nov 07, 2010

The worst thing that will happen is for this guy to be allowed to convert himself from the criminal he is to some kind of freedom fighter.

Ndigbo must stand up in rejection of this madness.

Who says Ngwaland need liberation from ordinary businessmen who have never been given handouts from any Government, men who worked their socks off to acquire lands, shops and run a successful business. Who says the way to fight a corrupt Government is to go about molesting ordinary small business owners who themselves are also victims of the same corrupt Government?

This same Osisikankwu was once in Massob, then he moved to MEND, now he wants to liberate Ngwaland from other Igbos. I don't know what will be next . . . . . maybe liberate Owazaland from the rest of Ngwa. Criminals like these will find any excuse to perpetuate crime.

It is for this simple reason I do not support any arm struggle whether they come in the shape of MASSOB, MEND, OPC or Boko Harram. For the simple reason that in the history of rebels around the world most often than not they usually turn around to hunt their own local community they initially set out or claimed to fight for.

Any Igbo that wants to struggle for anything should borrow a leaf from Ojukwu and take to politics. Ojukwu laid down arms many years ago and later ran for Senate in 1983. What we need in Igboland are more folks like Alex Samond from Scotland not people in the mould of laurent Nkunda of Congo. The WAR ENDED IN 1970, Ojukwu did what was necessary then to defend Igbos, but right now in 2010 the answer to most things is Politics.

In my view anybody taking up arms and are not members of the Armed Forces or any of the Nation's security outfit is a common criminal.
I agree 100%. I don't know why folks should pick up arms when they have not exhausted open discourse and politics. That is why I always take political positions and do some punditry. If we do what we need to do politically, there would be no need for any struggle at all. Struggle signify that you have failed politically, and I don't think it is possible to fail politically. I AM AN APGA man cool cool, and I believe that the party is the best hope for the Igbo man in Nigeria; whether an Ngwa, or Owaza or Onicha.
