This boy actually wants us to believe that those people posting on threads are actually "northerners." I find it funny.

Northerners do not concern themselves with southern squabble. They are more concerned with GEJ right now.
You'll be surprised how interested they are in division of the south (though I don't care anymore).

A devil spoke about the immorality of fighting against a seceding Eastern region.
Guess what he did when the war started, we schemed to kill innocent children by starving them to death.

Combatant war casuality in Biafra was about 110,000 Biafran soldiers. On the Nigerian side it was over 250,000 Nigerian soldiers dead.

In Biafran side nearly 2 million children, old people and women STARVED TO DEATH.

Nna Nigerian military was seriously rubbished by a Siera Leonian rebel calling himself "General Mosquito" who pinned them down in Freetown and never allowed them to operate outside of Freetown.

The truth is that Nigerian military has NOT been tested. Something tells me that Nigeria cannot win any international conflict, even with a Chad or Cameroun.

PropertiesRe: Are Nigerian Properties Over-priced. by Onlytruth(m): 10:43am On Nov 18, 2010
Nigerian properties are for thieves! I have not seen such unrealistic property values anywhere in the world. I understand it though. As others have pointed out already, massive looting of public funds is responsible. The thieves cannot send the money abroad due to stepped up EFCC activism, so they are dumping the money on properties.

The other reason is the price of oil. If oil prices reduce, it will affect property prices in Nigeria. The other is the role of banks and mortgage companies. Prices will come crashing down as the number of property owners who take bank loans and mortgages reach a critical mass. Bank funding for property buying is happening already; it will peak and there would then be only one way for it to go -DOWN!

The other thing is that a new government may decide to fight corruption truly by blocking stealing holes. This will lead to massive fall in property prices.

As for me, there is NO WAY I am buying a single plot of land in any part of Nigeria for $1 m.

I would rather use that to buy a town elsewhere!  cool

The truth is that Biafra is "unburyable". In fact it may even rise from the ashes thanks to continued events in Nigeria.

This is just my candid opinion. Anyone thinking it cannot rise is not a good student of history.

Those who don't want it to rise must do more than just threaten fire and brimstone. The good news is that they can do so today; it is not too late. But time is running out.

onlytruth, igbo or easterners are not the only ones running this economy

GET THAT INTO your HEAD AND LOCK IT THERE

yorubas are equally if not better in running the economy, trust me on this

if not for us northerners protecting the interest of this country from invasion etc the country would have been liberia today

i believe the yoruba people are the ones that are even meant to be talking about ruling and all that

i agree that the north has not produce the best of leaders but igbos would not do better, trust me

until u see every one in the country as equals then igbos would never rule this country

it is because of the proud nature of them, that what lead to them been killed in the north before the civil war started

i love igbos but i really wish they are not full of pride but humble like the ijaws and yorubas

if igbos get what they want, they would forget every other person(region) that is why it is hard for them to produce the president

even my ijaws brothers have noticed that form a typical igbo man(selfcenterness)

i mean hear the way u are talking undecided
Well at least you accept that Aboki should stay away from Aso rock for at least 24 years.

You think this your idiotic divide and rule stratagem will endure for ever? huh huh
The more you do this, the more determined people get to form Biafra (and you cannot stop it when the time comes).  cool cool

Today, you say Yorubas are Nigeria's worst enemy and deny Abiola presidency and call Saraki a Yoruba to deny him northern support for presidency. Tomorrow you will say they are more qualified than Igbo because you want them to continue supporting your thieving and greedy tendencies in keeping power in the backward north, even without going to school.

Next you will ra.p.e Ijawland and pollute all their waters and wetlands using the money to develop Abuja, Kaduna and Kano, and now ganging up against Jonathan. Tomorrow you will tell them it is the Igbo that is r.aping their lands.
You see a pattern here?

Aboki is NOT intelligent. You are only enjoying a momentary victory you secured in Biafra thanks to divisions in the East.

The days of your lies are numbered. And Biafra is waiting patiently.  cool

What you need to do is simple. Tell your brothers to go to school FIRST before ever dreaming of ruling Nigeria again. A situation whereby Imo state produces more JAMB candidates than the whole of north west, and yet no person from Imo has ever ruled Nigeria will answer this question for you.
We might have lost a war, but we are not fools.

If you were doing a good job for 40 years, Nigeria will have steady electricity today, and Eastern Nigeria will be equal (in terms of infrastructural development) at least with the north (Abuja, Kaduna, Kano) and west (Lagos). Only an illiterate looks at Nigeria as it is and not see a HUGE skew against the educated and individually ambitious section of the country. You don't invest your money where it just sits there. You need to invest in the engine of the country. A cart cannot pull a horse. You invest in infrastructure in northern Nigeria -wasted money. Do the same in the east and see whether we will not make Nigeria an economic giant worldwide.

Didn't you see how the Super falcons beat Africa hands down? Did you like it? Does it matter that the team is 95% Igbo? NO.

That is my point. If you want to rule Nigeria, at least be equal to me educationally.

The current central bank governor cannot match Soludo by any measure. I just checked my stock in UBA , Oceanic bank and First bank. They are almost worthless now, thanks to a cleric appointed CBN governor. undecided undecided

The last CBN governor wanted the Naira to be THE CURRENCY of reference in Africa. This one is trying his best to tell the world that the naira is sick. One is optimistic, the other is pessimistic.
Different worldview.

I can go on. But the biggest mistake people make is to assume that Biafra is being fueled by anything other than genuine feeling by easterners that the country is not working and is not fair to them.

In fact in my view, for Nigeria to stand a chance of surviving, the north must stay away from Nigeria's presidency for at least 24 years during which time the north must upgrade educationally. You guys got to contribute some real human capital to the Nigerian project for Nigeria to survive.
After 24 years when southern leadership must have set proper leadership standards, then you can contest.

All these revisionists who show up at every Biafra thread knows this. That is why you see them trying their best to tell us it will fail. Even an Edo guy who was never a part of Biafra has come here to yap his own as if we care where Edo is.
The Itshekiri guy spoke as if his part was EVER a part of Biafra; it NEVER was and will never be!
The next thing was for them to threaten war, 'cos they have nothing else to say.
They still think that this is 1967.
This time some of their former topmost allies will support Biafra. 40 years has given them time to really think about Nigeria.

I am really disappointed in this Marcdunu character for trying his damnedest to score a cheap point(after he failed to win logically), but I would limit this blame to that minuscule FEW Igbo renegades on nairaland. Imagine this guy pulling a genuine comment I made about Uwechue ONE YEAR AGO, and trying to use it to discredit me. undecided undecided

It actually achieved the opposite because it shows that I am an ardent supporter of Igbo unity of purpose. I frowned at Uwechues open attack on Ojukwu as Ohanaeze president and I still stand on that.  cool
I'm sure that he has since learned because I have not seen him repeat such gaffe. He has conducted himself creditably by embarking on wide consultations before making statements on Igbo affairs. He has become the best Ohanaeze president so far.

But this Marcdunu character is really a very bitter individual and can kill his own brother just to win an argument.
