^^^ I understand your point, and they are well taken. But, any good Nigerian who has lived and enjoyed a typical western society would want some semblance of same in Nigeria. I am in the US, the greatest nation on earth! I see why the US is the greatest nation on earth because of the very same things I argue here. That is why Americans are arguably the most patriotic of all citizens of the world. I only want my people back home to enjoy some of these things. We have no business living inside dumps. Period! |
I still insist that if the leaders have a HUGE budget for social welfare in Nigeria, there will be no money to steal. I am not a socialist. This is simple sense. It will reduce crime. There are many Nigerians who would not live off these dumps. They are the armed robbers and kidnappers killing and maiming innocent people in Nigeria. Truth for once. Pay Nigerians citizens ! ![]() |
And for as long as we continue lying to ourselves in that country, nothing will change. Imagine some folks questioning whether the pictures are from Nigeria. Where are the pictures from ![]() Why do we like to lie to ourselves so much in that country? Why can't people repent for once? Na wa o! ![]() |
kosovo:I will take that with a large pinch of salt, but you are entitled to your opinion here. Nigeria is not even trying at all to take care of these groups. Tell me of one social welfare in Nigeria. These people are involuntary destitutes. Only God knows the type of diseases flowing from these dumps into the general population. No one should have to live inside these dumps. Period! |
I guess my next mission is to campaign for unemployment benefits for every unemployed Nigerian. By the time these thieves masquerading as leaders pay 50 million or more unemployed Nigerians about N20,000 each month, there will be no money to steal. Secondly, these benefits will help boost the economy because these people will spend the money at the local economic levels thereby giving legs to our economy. |
I cannot understand why some folks are trying to spin this out of context, but the truth is that these people live inside this huge dump. For a sum less than that stolen by one leader, this dumpster will not even be above ground. These folks should have a safer place to live. |
ziga:So this guy doesn't live in the dump? ![]()
|
y me:Oh no, we don't! ![]() Here's why. Nigerian CAN afford to place all of these people on monthly unemployment benefit of N20,000 each. At least that would ensure that no one lives inside that dump. You can still scavenge the place as a business. But, go home to a different environment. ![]() All these monies stolen by thieving so called leaders can guarantee that. |

I came across these pictures on the BBC w/site and wept for a few minutes. We even pray inside dumps! I know that GOD will answer one of these days if we do more than pray -tell ourselves the truth. The citizens of the most blessed country in Africa have no business living in dumps. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8595108.stm

Eziachi:Yes! We need more apprentices in the school of Ikemba"ism". Young men these days sell their parents for money, and they are mainly cowards. Ojukwu was 33 when he led Biafra. How come our young men these days are weak and cowardly? ![]() We must reform our youths urgently! |
^^^ Don't mind the bilygoat. He thinks he can single-handedly change history. He is unlucky because we are alive to witness this same history for ourselves. We don't need evil minded spin doctors to shape our history. |
mama-gee:So, in your warped sense, only dead soldiers are heroes? ![]() Don't attract attention to yourself here please. We haven't forgotten what Mama-gee in Nollywood did for a living. ![]() |
How can we qualify or identify the truth? Is it one told by one man (bilymuse) , or the one told by MILLIONS of people(Ndigbo). The answer is simple. |
presido1:If you apply it to bilymuse(though he apparently doesn't know ) , it make perfect sense! The guy is on a paid mission, but he is a poor student of history. Money cannot buy everything. That is why PDP lost in Anambra state, partly thanks to Ojukwu's call. |
"Take the Anambra election for example, the other candidates had so much money and support from the centre. But Peter Obi had virtually nothing, he was like the under dog. Yes he was governor but don’t forget that he no member of his party in the state House of Assembly. But he had one man and this man had only five words to say; This is my last wish. How many other people could do that and get the kind of response Ojukwu got. People came back from all parts of the world in response to that call, though some of them were disentranchised and so could not vote. They have shown him love. They love him and see him as their treasure. " Bianca |
bilymuse:And he keeps yapping this borrowed old and tired Igbo adage, the meaning of which he has no clue. ![]() |
Afam:Actually his is a combination of the two, plus cowardice. His people cannot dream of a leader in Ojukwu's mold. |
Let me break your heart more Mr Muse, we the Igbo youths are DETERMINED to continue loving and following this man even long after his death! You think you are determined to change his story? YOU ARE NO MATCH my friend. We are faaaaaaaaaaaaaar more determined than you could ever dream of. ![]() |
"It was said that the Igbos neglected Zik, Okpara and Akanu Ibiam. But before you can substantiate that statement you have to look at Ndigbo as a people. We are republican in nature. So its hard to determine the level of love, adulation and respect the Igbos give to their leaders." -Bianca |
bilymuse:"I think he has done his bit. There comes a time in every man’s life when you just need to find the nearest beach, find a deck chair, sit by the ocean and reflect. I think he is at that stage in his life. He has done nothing but live and breathe the Igbo course. Sometimes he would hear of some injustice somewhere and he would stay awake all night, trying to find how it can be redressed. " -Bianca |
bilymuse:"I have been with him to so many parts of Igbo land and I am moved to tears by the kind of reception he is accorded. I have seen a whole market dismantled just to get his car to pass in the tick of massive traffic. I saw youths dismantle a market just for his car to pass. When you go with him to a place like Aba, the reception is better seen than described. So I think the Igbos love him tremendously and they have shown it to him." -Bianca |
bilymuse:You are a cursed person. So move on. |
bilymuse:Like your father ran away with the money he was supposed to purchase arms with. ![]() Which is why you are serving a curse placed on your family by millions of dead Biafrans. ![]() |
bilymuse:So what leadership quality is your tribe or section of Nigeria offering to Nigeria or your tribe? Name one of the best leaders from YOUR tribe. If you can't, then you have no business being here. |
Jonathan's cabinet reshuffle exercise revealed something very disturbing because he retained almost the same crew. The reshuffle was vintage Obasanjo! I cannot count how many times Obasanjo embarked on cabinet reshuffles in his day in office. Each time, our expectations hit the rooftops, only to be dashed. I see Jonathan doing exactly the same thing. Why dissolve a cabinet only to reconstitute it? Isn't that a waste of public time and attention? Is that not what Nigerians call "the more you look the less you see"? ![]() Until Jonathan proves that he is not executing the Obasanjo sets of stratagems, my loyalty will continue dripping away. |
006:That guy cannot get out of his personal shell to view the world. Come out Mr Bily! It is actually quite nice and sunny outside! Any human who commands the love and loyalty of such an impossible people as Ndigbo, is a LEGEND. Simple truth. ![]() |
