souldust: and for those that are saying the north has dominated the army for lalala years. Well let me tell you that those that have dominated the army are not really Hausa Fulani like you think. They have been those in the north central. The ones you call middle beltern and have refused to recognise as "core north"I wonder for how long you think you can blackmail Igbo with those words. We are either Nigerians or we are not. If all you see in us is "sessionists"(Sic!) then don't you think you should ask us to leave Nigeria? You lot need to make up your minds what you want from us. What I'm sure would NEVER happen though is a situation where you keep us in Nigeria only ON YOUR OWN TERMS. It cannot continue. Welcome to the new Nigeria dude. |
Dudu_Negro: we knelt down long enough to erect a political enclave that is the envy of the whole nation.I'm LMAO @Bolded. ![]() You know what, I see that you are off to your usual pattern of stoking "Igbo/Yoruba" internet chicken fights. You will have to fight it alone dude. lol. |
souldust: i dont doubt that you have died more than anyone else. But whom do you blame? If you allowed yourseves to be killed for blind optimism thats your fault! You can count that as heroic, can you?No we died because we trusted people we shouldn't have trusted in the first place. We thought we were all brothers in the Nigerian dungeon until we learned the hard way. The war was a BIG LESSON. We are holding onto that war lesson. Since we are the only tribe to have seen REAL WAR in Nigeria, we have an advantage, believe me. Now I wonder if others can stand what we survived. Bravery is EARNED. You cannot kill unarmed people and claim to be brave. Nigeria surrendered Bakassi without fighting. That is where I would have liked to see these Northerners show us bravery. They ran away and handed over Nigerian territory to Cameroun. Arrant nonsense. |
buJu-234:Words of wisdom. |
souldust: only truth, i also know of a gen Awuyi ironsi but that doesnt change the truth that majority of those who have shed their blood for this country are from the north and north central to be precise thus are deserving of their promotion. As far as I'm concerned, NO OTHER TRIBE HAS DIED IN NIGERIA LIKE THE IGBO. We have seen it all, and this time we are very very very angry. Let no one push us again in Nigeria. A word is enough. |
Dudu_Negro: put all that on a scale and weigh it against the similar losses by igbo and i still maintain that we dont have enemies. How can you even see that you have an enemy when you are busy kneeling down and doing what you know best just to stay alive and appear relevant in the Nigerian power games. Nna stay kneeling there; I'm off to go get my AR-15 Bushmaster (old version ). You and I ain't same psychologically. ![]() I'm Igbo remember? |
souldust: pls tell where for benue igbos dey are you talking of the settlers? If thats what you are saying then it is ok. But if you are refering to the indegines as igbos then forget it! They are NOT!Yes you are right, please stop commenting OFF POINT. When Nigeria divides if there are not Igbo there, it shall be self evident. I'm sure there may even be Igbos who may want to stay in Nigeria then, but stop all these nonsense talks for now. We shall cross that bridge when we get there. |
tunde1200: Yeah now...The question you should ask yourself is this: DO YOU WANT NIGERIA TO REMAIN ONE OR DO YOU WANT IGBO TO LEAVE NIGERIA? We will happilly leave and form our own football team and ARMY of course. I know that our football team will be almost unstoppable in Africa. Same with our army. So, choose one now. |
Virgin Finder: Thank God you admit Igbo man cannot be president of Nigeria. My friend stop speaking from both sides of your mouth. Which kain cowardice be dis sef? You will have Igbo in the army or Nigeria will be divided. YOU MUST CHOOSE ONE. |
souldust: see why every one will forever be suspecious of igbo leadership! They just cannot be honest for ones. And you begin to think these people, by nature, are repulsive to honest, humility and fairness. You forget Generals Okonkwo and Obiakor. |
Dudu_Negro: we dont have enemies.....igbos have enemies.Like the Yoruba youth corpers murdered in cold blood in the North, your leaders killed and jailed during Abacha/Abiola saga, like the fact that none of your choice candidates were ever allowed to lead Nigeria. If that is not enmity then you lack basic understanding of the meaning of the word. But heh, you are entitled to believe whatever you want. ![]() |
luvmijeje: Dear Mr President,I have notice the office of the president has not issue out statement to what is going on in the Nigera Army and I believe that is totally wrong.Who is this infant? Abeg go wipe ya nyash please. |
Dudu_Negro: the moment yoruba is no longer in your list of enemies i will leave you alone. until then, im your twin brother. As long as Yoruba are not plotting to keep Igbo in chains in Nigeria, we are not your enemies. You better believe it. But be very afraid if you start plotting with the North again to put chains round our necks, 'cos it ain't happening again. We love the new Nigeria. Let's all make it work. |
Dudu_Negro: ihejirika is facing controversy that may affect his career and. possibly limit the elevation of another igboman to that position for a while.Ok, let me break it down more for you. WE HAVE SEEN IT ALL IN NIGERIA. Just name it, we have seen it. Is it cheating, subjugation, mass murder, false imprisonment, de-population using fake census figures, economic strangulation (using fake census and skewed population distribution to deny us states and LGAs), denial of access to fair representation in the military, . . . the list goes on and on. We have complained and got called all types of names: "greedy", "ambitious" etc, and we have taken it all in good stead. Even this latest COAS controversy would have never arisen if some Northerners aren't afraid of igbo joining the military in fair numbers. The point I'm making is that there comes a time when you are better dead than live a life of servitude. Like I told you before, you and I don't have to agree on this. You are Yoruba; I am Igbo. |
Dudu_Negro: can you deny that from 1960 uptill 1980 yorubas were heavily under represented in the army? the story is different today. how did we do it?And did you see us "shouting in public places"? Wasn't Ihejirika coolly and calmly doing his job when aboki started panicking? Did Ihejirika say anything, even up till now? Omo it is you that has been shouting us down everywhere. Biko leave us alone. Thanks. |
tunde1200: You really make sense.Like Super Eagles and Super Falcons abi? Shameless bigots. |
Tony Spike: What I can see in this map is the entity called Lagos colony and protectorate, which later became the Western Region. Did you look at the map properly before posting it at all? By the way, Lagos in pre-1900 likely refers to the enclaves of Lagos-Island, and by extension Victoria Island and other adjacent coastal territories. I very much doubt that Lagos Mainland was part of the Lagos colony back then, I may be wrong though...The point I'm trying to make is that Lagos protectorate did not have ALL current SW states in it. The other point is that Lagos was a federal capital territory even when Awo was there in Western Region. In any case, I am just thinking aloud as to what may be motivating Fashola. Since I am not a Lagosian, I could be wrong. |
Dudu_Negro: you see, there's your problem! everything is on the platter of bravery/cowardice to you. what you call bravery in SE is what in SW we call stoupidity.......unecessary and avoidable risk taking.Guy but do you even acknowledge that there is time for everything in this life? Do you know that there is time for bravery; I mean REAL bravery, not one of hiding behind someone to throw punches. If you cannot acknowledge this universal truth, then you and I have nothing to agree on. We have been in Nigeria under captivity for 41 years after a brutal civil war in which at least 2 million of our people died. We have kept calm and quiet for FOUR DECADES! Like I told you before, please face your front and mind your people. You can be slaves for ever if that suits your psychology, but it is not in ours. That is part of why Igbo never had an emir or an overbearing "Oba". That is who we are. Accept it or leave us alone. Thank you. |
lagcity: Yes. But since you've decided to play dumb, I'll oblige you. Lagos has always been part of "Western Nigeria".I'll post my evidence again.
|
nagoma: The Igbos can never provide honest leadership wherever they find themselves. Their rise fr ok primitive culture to civilization with no natural development is commendable but it denied them the sense of social mutual existene and code of ethics. They will always cheat. Ihejirika is only 2 years in that position but his Igbo genes are telling him that he must fill all th positions with Igbos. The same with the immigration lady Who wanted to convert the Nigerian immigration service into Biafran immigration service. All the other Igbo people in position behave in the same way. Those who are not in position will courier drugs and kidnap other people- anything illegal and antisocial they are there. This army scandal is affecting all other non Igbo Nigerians not just the north. When you read the details you will see that more yorubas are adversely affected by this ihejirika's nepotism. They can shout but we must get to the bottom of it. If the country is to be divided so be it and let's do it in peace. South for SOUTHERNERS and north for NORTHERNERS . It is a continuation of their Jan 1966 plans.@Bolded You have no idea how some of us would like that to happen overnight. You cannot live in the desert and corner all the oil blocks in the ocean. Dem no born you well. Your REAL TARGET IS JONATHAN, an Ijaw man. You think that Ijaws are foolish enough to buy your evil plans and deceit this century. I wish you luck. Nama. |
bashdecash: I hope u hv enough land in Bayelsa, Imo or Akwa ibom to contain big Academy with such facilities like in the north where we hv a vast flat land.We have land enough to host even a US military base if we need to host it. What is an ordinary Nigerian military university? We have vast lands lying waste and unused in the East. |
@Lagcity, Was Lagos always part of Western Nigeria? |
lagcity: Lagos was separate from western region even before independence? wow. I just shake my head when you guys type because I know you people know the truth but still go out of your way to lie. This is just pathetic. Onlytruth, you should be ashamed of yourself.Omo calm down first and dust up your Nigerian map Pre-1900. The picture will speak volumes to you. |
I did not join the Nigeria army because I was warned that Northerners would stifle my rise, and even frame me up for a coup if I rise fast. ![]() That advice was given to me by a Lt. Col in the Nigerian army. People don't understand what used to happen in the Nigerian military before Obasanjo's second coming (I have to credit him with some of the changes!). So, aboki should calm down and let us build a balanced military in Nigeria to ensure a lasting peace in Nigeria. I say spread military schools across at least the old regions. ![]() |
@Topic, GREAT IDEA that will bring about a permanent peace in Nigeria. ![]() |
pazienza: This post reminds me of what onlytruth said about an elder brother eating his own share of meat and that of his younger brother, while feigning that the meat is not sweet.* laughs*You remember that. lol! ![]() |
Dudu_Negro: its interesting that an ibo man who deserts his land to go anywhere in chase of money is reluctant to travel far in pursuit of education. The problem is not that Igbo or any other southern group would not go up North for military training in existing schools. The problem is that every school in Nigeria has catchement area and ALWAYS admits more locals than non-locals. Don't tell me that you are too cowardly to even acknowledge such a simple truth. If you cannot (or do not) want to fill your quota in the military, WE DO. So face your front biko. |
Dudu_Negro: ....calm down and stop shytting on yourself , it's only a meeting.Ol boy I'm not like you! I gat balls. ![]() So, take your own advice 'cos you need it!. If Ihejirika has about 10% of my guts, these Northerners won't even be having this meeting honestly. The fact that they are having this meeting at all tells me that they have nothing to worry about. |
Mr. Globe:Spot on! Now, imagine that the same North complained until the Nigerian law school was distributed almost that way. I wonder why the military schools should only be based in the North. I'm laughing! ![]() |
Policewoman: Thank you deary. Olee otu i mere?Adi m mma nwanne m. You are supposed to be one of our leaders here. I don't care how busy or indisposed you may be. We will "conscript" you if we have to. Please come to this section and comment more often. We need enlightened Igbo here desperately. |
Ihejirika must be FULLY ALERT about all these noise and meetings. He must begin action NOW to ensure that nobody makes any move that will negatively affect Igbo safety in Nigeria. We have seen these before and we must not allow the same wild stick to pluck our remaining eye. There is a need for immediate balance of weapons and army personnel among the three regions. If such balance is not possible, then there is a need for a FOREIGN force to enter Nigeria and stay there until the country is divided. |
Policewoman: For over 40years the north dominated the oil industry, the customs, national population comission, Army, Navy, Airforce, Police, e.t.c. We can all see the results. Now that Easterners are occupying these positions trying to clean up their shiit, they have the audacity to open their dirty gworro infested teeth to talk rubbish. Bokoharam fuuuuls. My sister happy new year! We all missed you. ![]() |
