Obrigardo:Time will tell. Everyone’s entitled to their opinion. We wait. |
Transparency breeze blowing behind the illegal President XiBiden.

slex:Send your contact details. |
Anyone know where I can get a Lexus IS 350? - Please note, I did not say IS 250 o o. Very clean one o - urgently needed. |
budaatum:Lmao. People make mistakes and move on. budaatum:I know we can't agree that Xibiden rigged his way into the White House. But good luck with trying to change Texas to blue. |
budaatum:Bwahahaha.. . . . ."Texans" was misspelt - Anyway, you can read up stuff in the link shared. You need to take a chill pill and realise that this whole brouhaha about Texas is largely political. But Texans are not swayed by these things. |
Dapcity247:That's how they operate. Raising coins for places where they believe they can do power grab. Selfish hypocrites. |
buda, Read up. |
budaatum:You guys are the ones making a big deal of these things about Texas. The average Texan is even happy to see snow, so they can go skating in Austin, Houston and elsewhere. A state that has experienced worst natural disasters in its history and bounced back is one that dimwits AOC and O Rourke are raising coins to help the "needy"? I laugh out loud in Chinese. The Keystone XL project from what I read in the news was nearing completion as at the time Xibiden rigged his way in, backed by dishonest demonRats and a handful of RINOs. The thing with pipeline projects is that it's either you complete it and the pipeline is available or its not done. There is no go between. https://www.nrdc.org/stories/what-keystone-pipeline -that should help. Never mind all the thrash about the environment.

budaatum:We (can't recall the moniker again) have agreed this whole Texas this, Texas that, is just all about looking and feeling good to score cheap political scores with Texans. Look, Texas is RED, and will be RED forever. LOL. The Energy business is fraught with uncertainties and highly capital intensive. Government coming in to help most times takes the heat off poor investors and operators. The hydrocarbon pools in the deep GOM (where we have substantial proven reserves) is entirely owned by the US government. Investment in development activities in that area has been stopped by Quid pro Joe. That Keystone XL project, if completed, would have gone a long way to assuage the current deficit in energy availability across the country - not just Texas alone. The dumb, chinese arse licking Quid Pro Joe killed it. Renewables can't go it all alone. We still need energy from other sources. All the tree-hugging energy conservationists can go and hug cold trees now - with no clothes on, if they truly "love" the environment. Awon were. |
edi287:You probably haven’t been following my entries. Please quote where I ever said renewables are useless. |
edi287:And that’s another key point. “Places” point A may have a very high wind power potential than point B. So, you don’t expect the two points to churn out the same power generation rates. The Ercot story up there doesn’t hold water. Texas is generally not so pummeled with snow like we are experiencing now in winter in recent years. Will you blame anyone for not investing in making their plants ready for “winter in Texas”? Have you any idea what it will takes to do that - capital wise, in the face of dwindling fortunes in the business ? |
edi287:Just so we are clear, no one is bashing renewables. And after watching that video, it’s clear we are back to what I said earlier, we need a mix of these energy sources. I hope you watched the video very well. |
edi287:Alright. Tell me about these other places - starting with names. So, coal, natural gas, heavy oil and light oil, although sources of power generation, they all have their merits and demerits. And as we all have now seen, even renewables (wind and solar) and nuclear also have theirs too. This takes me back to my earlier submission on the subject: The only way out is a mixture of these power sources for mankind's use. Any attempt to rely solely on one and downplay the rest comes with its catastrophic consequences. I expected dim witted and brain dead Xibiden to know this by now and do what's right, but I guess I expected too much from him, since he rigged his way into the White House. He's got other pressing needs to attend to, while undoing what Trump had put on the ground to make life better for Americans. |
You lack what it takes to comprehend the subject - when you’re done reading the rudiments on refining, come back and share learnings. Then, we can have a meaningful conversation. For now, know that reservoir engineers are the masters of the subject. They were trained for it, know the stuff right from the source rocks, the compositions of the crudes - whether heavy, light or gaseous. They are the masters of resource classes. They are the oracles of the oil and gas industries - and everyone else that taps into the industry goes to them for help and direction. |
salford1:You’re the dumb and deaf here. Don’t ever delve into territory you know nothing about. That’s a warning. And I’ll leave you hanging in there. |
salford1:And I have worked as a hydrocarbon reservoir engineer. Spin something new, you tool! |
salford1:You should lookup the meaning of fossil fuels before exposing your level of ignorance on the subject. |
Great feedback Dapcity. Let’s wait for Reed and his horde of ignoramuses here to spin something new. |
salford1:You guys are some wonders to behold. Imagine if that nice Keystone pipeline construction wasn’t halted by brain dead Xibiden. Imagine how much gas prices would be by now and peoples sufferings greatly reduced. Imagine how much cheap energy would be available to Americans to heat their homes if all the investments in oil were not allowed to dry up. Well, why don’t we just depend on environmentally friendly renewable energy for help this time around ? Crazy people. https://oilprice.com/Energy/Energy-General/Texas-Winter-Storm-Highlights-The-Importance-Of-Fossil-Fuels.html |
Livelystone01:Sorry if it appears like that (deflecting and shifting things around). I did my best to answer you - may not be good enough, but we agree to disagree sometimes. Thanks for not reducing stuff to personal insults like some of your other leftists people here suffering dementia. Well done. |
Livelystone01:So, we agree on the cheap political gain angle from AOC. Thank you. I don't like discussing Nigeria. I am tired of doing that. Well, bless the good Lord we've seen some good leaders from the GOP in the past. Reagan is a popular one. Dwight (Ike) led the world against Nazis and won. . . . .laid the foundation for some excellent leadership. The GOP legs have always been perfect. And now, they're getting ready to sweep the rigger in chief in the White House (Xibiden, Quid Pro Joe) out, soon. |
I'll let you lefties in on something. Texas cannot, will not, will never, ever go BLUE |
salford1:Bwahaha.... . . . . . .I wonder who will feel the heat if he doesn't do anything. Chinese arse-licking, rigger. |
zendi:LoL. ... leftists are truly a wonder to behold. |
edi287:I’m referring to his 2020 California power tweet. We know he’s apologised for his Cancun trip - even though it’s not within his powers to do much as a Senator. Not sure why AOC and her minions are after the guy.. .if not for cheap political gains. |
edi287:I think it will be nice to separate things that are within government control from those that are not. Wildfires in California and now freezing cold in Texas are strictly speaking, not within government control - to a very large extent. Same with tornadoes and hurricanes. If we agree on that, then, clear. Now, lets go back to what smart Ted Cruz said in one the tweets you shared. "California is now unable to perform basic functions of civilization, like having reliable electricity" - now notice that he said this right in the thick of the summer - Aug 2020, when all that's needed to provide comfort for everyone is doable and available, unlike extreme cold, tornadoes, and hurricanes. If California governor Newsom could not do that at the time, should someone not call him to order like Cruz did at the time? Isn't it glaring to all that the man - Newsom, was mismanaging the fortunes of the state, probably using it for irrelevant and selfish things like feeding and taking care of thousands of illegal aliens in Sanctuary cities, so they can vote for him during the elections? I await your response. |
edi287, all na cheap political score point that bear no semblance on the reality of what's playing out on the ground - all over the country. You are too smart to fall for stuff like this. Quit already! Based on the forecasts, AOC better spend all that "stolen" money to take care of herself first (in freezing New York), before heading to Texas - in the cold. Oponu oloshi. |
And another one: http://abcnewsradioonline.com/national-news/winter-storm-kills-three-in-south-as-dangerous-cold-blast-mo.html It's a nation-wide thing. Don't bring politics into it.
|
salford1:Yen yen yen. . . . . . |
Dapcity247:Yeah bro. You know that guy called "PrideofChuky" is a loathsome, crazy batshit. |
salford1:I hope you read the stuff from BBC. Many demonRats only read what fits their narrative. Evil people. |
