HealthRe: BREAKING: Nigeria Successfully Blocks Ebola, Has One Case Left- minister by onoja12: 5:54pm On Aug 26, 2014
both you and your backerS can not stop Nigeria and Africa from progressing,i said it at the beginning this sickness wouldn't last,Africans are no longer fools

PapiWata: Reporting at this very early stage of a possible major disease outbreak that the battle has been won, is premature at best, and could hold up to ridicule the medical body responsible for this very optimistic proclamation that implies NO other carriers of the Ebola virus besides the documented one, could possibly have entered Nigeria by any route over the past few weeks.

Ebola has in fact been eradicated by Uganda on several occasions over the past two decades, with minimal casualties recorded, so it is entirely feasible that Nigeria has indeed recorded its own first-round victory against the deadly Ebola virus, such that normalcy can resume in Nigeria, even as the disease rages out of control in Sierra Leone and Liberia, however, the statements credited to government officials suggesting that the war against infection is over, may come back to haunt those who publicly declared victory this early in the day.

its you who said it in the open, trust me i thought of that,am just helping uncle sam to feel good with himself

Truckpusher: Govt. Isn't your average village meeting where everything is said in the open.

Nigeria may have tried the drug and continue to follow uncle Sam in his charade so that it doesn't hurt too much after their initial shakara.
HealthRe: Nano Silver Can Cure Ebola – Manufacturer by onoja12: 3:33am On Aug 19, 2014
let be honest, what does it take to test the drug, all it takes is to run sample on animals first,i was very shocked to hear the government of Nigeria just dropped the drug because FDA said so,this is same country that refuse to give us the drug they say they have, and what is more shocking is the fact that W.H.O could refuse to test a Nigerian made drug,i have said it before this sickness is bad market,no matter what they try the Gods are with us.

davitogreat: Right... So giving the funds to ghana, Rwanda and Uganda is so much better. Funny seeing the stupid comments in the thread.
I swear Nigerians can sometimes be some of the most stupid people you can ever come across. They think by by speaking ill of nigeria in every situation they are enlightened and forward thinking when Infact it's the opposite.
PoliticsRe: Obama Leaves Nigeria Out Of $110m Peacekeeping Fund by onoja12: 12:40am On Aug 11, 2014
Let God bless you,am reading your write up,with great joy in my spirit

9jalyte: I want to thank people like Davitogreat, I was almost choking with the first brainless comments of some bubble heads roaming around niaraland, always looking for where to spill the excess bitterness in them. Very shameless fellows who are so proud to display their emptiness by insulting their own country thinking they are Gani Fawenmi. The world has engaged Nigeria on a psychological warfare, the aim is to destroy every sense of patriotism in the citizens, then they will implement the Egyptian and Libyan models of revolution - using the citizens to destroy the country. Every day, every where it is all about Nigeria - CNN, BBC, etc, just as if they were commissioned to burn Nigeria down. The most painful thing is that our young men, who I expected to smarter than the older generation are even showing indications of greater intellectual poverty. they can't see beyond the tips of their noses.

Have you asked your self, why did ECOMOG die. Who really destroyed ECOMOG, and why. Nigeria was the supper power that funded ECOMOG and tackled the west African crises without asking anybody for help. Nigeria was clearly seen as the God-father of west African, and a strong force in Africa. That obviously did not seem cool for some tyrannical countries that will never want any country to make them look irrelevant. Ofcource, for any super country to show her big brother gesture, it has to be in Africa, and all of a sudden, it was being clear that they may turn irrelevant and Nigeria becoming more relevant. Systematically, they used the UN peace keeping force to overshadow ECOMOG/Nigeria, and that was it. Now, they are cementing the long time plan of burying any possible African independent peace keeping force, and some are clapping. This dependence syndrome embedded in some of our people is becoming scary. Who cares if the fund Malawi, are we same?

It is painful that other countries respect Nigeria, I mean, if you have not gone out of Nigeria to see how the other African countries respect Nigeria, you will not understand. Nigeria is the last hope of the black nation, and it means alot to every black man. Any Nigerian that is playing into that strategic destruction plan of some vested interests should look himself in the mirror and call him self a FOOL. Yes, we are not perfect, but who is. do you think oyibos are as good as they project? What do you think you will gain by always messing your self up. We should all focus on rebuilding our intellectual infrastructure, that is the most decayed in Nigeria.

We do not need any support from any country, we can! in fact they should stop insulting us with those petty grants. Over the years they have been giving, what great change has taken place with those. Except we face our challenges, we can never be seen as a force to reckon with.
stop blabbing each time the cook one propaganda against Nigeria, cus if you do, you can as well consider your self as zombie, cus you have been manipulated to act the way some people want you to act and you acted exactly that same way. We will overcome this battle.
PoliticsRe: Obama Leaves Nigeria Out Of $110m Peacekeeping Fund by onoja12: 12:35am On Aug 11, 2014
110million dollar for 50 countries, that amounts to 2.2million dollar each, which comes to about 400million naira and they would tell you spread over 5years which come to less than 80million naira, some times i wonder if Africans are sick or our leaders are senseless, what can 80million naira do for Nigeria and this money would eventually be used by American embassy in Nigeria yet claiming to be given us aid.please you people should note that the younger generation is becoming wiser,we would not accept all this lies you tell

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Why Are Chinese Companies In Nigeria Maltreating Nigerians? by onoja12: 11:40pm On Aug 09, 2014
well because you people worship the coloured skins, you all are as guilty as the government,my question would you people have taken it from a Nigerian company,so because it a coloured company you people take it and turn to blame government, abeg i have no simparty for you people, you people are still mental slaves

onoerime: It is no more a news that the Chinese companies in Nigeria are indirectly enslaving nigerians but I am wondering why the federal government of Nigeria has kept mute to this barbaric acts of these people. I shall carefully pin points some of their misdeeds maybe the appropriates bodies could read and come to the aids of nigerians.
SALARY SCALES... I want to use China civil engineering construction cooperation (Ccecc ) as an example.
Labours- between.#15000 and #21000
workmen_ between #27000 and #31000
STAFF- between #45000 and #50000

WORKING PERIODS- 7.30am-6.00PM @30 days that means no rest days.
PENALTIES... penalties for offense committed could range between #5000-#20000 and could be deducted once from your salary.
JOB SECURITY- insecured.
Apart from salaries paid, no extensive employee packages. No health insurance, no paid time off from work, no retirement plans for workers, workers are fired at will, what pains me most is a Chinese man beating up a Nigerian because of a slight offense. Sometimes a whole salary could be seized just because of an offense. Why, why, why, these Chinese men are highly respected in Nigeria yet nigerians are enslaved home and abroad. The labour unions will come and do investigations but nothing happens thereafter. LAMATA pretends as if they hear or know nothing hmmmm. Can nigerians go to other countries and allowed to act this way?

Am not aware that the late ATTA OF IGALA was buried according to islamic rite, were did you get that fromhuh to the best of my knowledge he was buried according to traditional rite, don't spread false news.the word OBA in itself is traditional, and the word OBA means a traditional King not a muslim king, the only muslim KING in nigeria is the sultan of sokoto. And lastly am not a christian,i am a born traditionalist and i would die as one

caseless: what are u saying? What has being oba got to do with personal religion? Late ATTAH OF IGALA, Dr Aliyu Obaje, died on the throne and was buried according to islamic rite. CultureRe: History Made In Ikorodu As Solat Was Observed On Their Late King by onoja12: 4:36am On Aug 09, 2014
slave mentality, you are trying to do a Muslim burial for a man that was a traditional ruler, cant you people think,if the religion was so important,he would have stepped down from the traditional stool to be a Muslim,as long as you refer to him as Oba,please note that you people just wasted your time his body is traditional right

amodu: The names of muslims in Ikorodu will be written in Gold in the book of history as they successfully perform solat on the corpse of their late king, HRM Oba (Dr) Salaudeen Afolabi Adekoya Oyefusi Oguntade II CON., Ayangburen of Ikorodu.

The Solat was observed at the gigantic Oriwu Central Mosque, located at Ikorodu garage round-about, Ikorodu Division led by His Eminence Shaykh-el-Islam Yahya Olorunosebi Oshoala Ajagbemokeferi As-Samadaani (RTA) who stood tall on his claim boldly and not being a coward that Islamic rites will be performed on the Islamic King.

The Islamic rites who done amidst red eye and desperation in the eye of the pagans (Olosugbos) who were expecting to have the corpse without any interference as it has been a norm of having the sole right on the corpse of a king.

The Chief Imam rinsed the king's corpse with zam-zam water after which he delivered his speech, followed by that of the queen. Then he led the solat with all that are present.

In the mosque were; Ambassador Olori Muyibat Olayinka Oyefusi, the glamorous queen of our time who delivered a darling tribute to her husband, all his children and some grand-children, Aremo Oba Ogunsanya, Chief BOS Benson; Asiwaju of Ikorodu, Chief Kabiru Sotobi, Odofin of Ikorodu, other chiefs, Baales, the Rademo families and eminent personalities too numerous to mention.

we are becoming wiser now

NgeneUkwenu: At least two persons have been feared killed and 20 others hospitalised in various hospitals in Plateau State after consuming excessive quantity of salt and bitter kola to prevent Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) attack.

The two, according  to a source in Shendam who spoke with our reporter on phone, were rushed to the hospital by their family members after they suddenly collapsed in the morning, having consumed too much of salt over night. They later died of high blood pressure in the hospitals.

According to medical personnel in the hospitals where the other patients are currently taking treatment in Jos, some developed ulcer, while others stool profusely, having consumed the table salt in excess.

TravelRe: Our Experience At Nigerian High Commission London by onoja12: 6:03pm On Aug 08, 2014
the problem with Nigerians,is that they dont complain,if you know the name of the lady that attended to you, write a letter of complain,to the Minister of foreign affairs, copy the ambassador and the senate committee on foreign affairs as well as the house committee on diaspora and watch what would happen

CaptainPhilip: I have been hearing about the ill treatment nigerians dish out to fellow nigerians at the high commission but little did I know that mine was just round the corner.

my wife who is a British citizen needed to apply for a Nigerain passport so she could attend her younger brother's wedding in Nigeria in September. now her Naija passport had expired so we thought that renewal is better than naija visa. we hopped out to London after several failed attempts to make a payment and secure a session at the embassy. Early this morning we arrived at London and made our way to the High commission on 9 Northumberland avenue.

When we got to the place its the usual naija flag flying high. lol. We were directed to enter through the back door which had security men. They asked us of our appointment letter which we failed to present because we could not book it online. He said we can't go in because we do not have an appointment. We explained that the site was difficult to navigate so he asked us to go to charing cross and do it at a cyber cafe which as you might guess is owned by a naija guy.

As we sat under a tree to see tHrough the site again, a young man approached and asked us if we needed help with the application and as my wife was about giving him a listening ear, i immediately said (as a sharp guy) don't worry we are fine so he left. A minute a latter another man said to me that if we want to get anything out of our mission today we had better go to the cyber cafe with him. Apparently he was taking a woman there so we followed.

on our way there, we asked the man why everything about Nigeria is always different even in a western world. he said that its so because the money when paid goes to Nigerian immigration in naija then the application goes to the high commission thats why it very difficult to navigate. on getting to the cyber cafe we met others we had same problems like ours so it was on a first come first serve basis. we waited for like an hour plus with the server going off and on on periodic intervals. we came to a conclusion that the cyber cafe is an affiliate of the high commission cos they charge you so much for a little help they render.

at the end, we were able to fill out the form and pay online. they gave us appointment for the 20th of august but the bros said if we go there showing them evidence that we came from far they could attend to us today and that since my wife is changing her maiden name to mine we would have to pay a charge of £40 for a postal order. this was paid for before we went back to the high commission. on arrival they asked us to get another postal order for £20. reasons known to them alone.

just at the submission desk, the lady attending to my wife said that I need to sign the letter of consent for my wife's change of name and the signature on my passport has to reflect what am signing.

Now the issue is that I renewed my Naija passport last year and the new passport which was done in Port Harcourt still carried my old signature that they transferred to the new passport. The woman insisted that I sign the exact thing on my passport but I explained that I signed that signature in 2008 and had changed it since then. Men see insult. She said she had never seen where they transfer signature from an old passport to new. That am I sure this passport is mine? she started raising her voice and I became a centre of attention. felt so pissed and nothing I said was reasonable and imagine a woman bringing a man down in front of his wife. I felt so humiliated and belittled and that if I can't sign the old one then the application will not be accepted or she will have to apply for a visa meaning we start the whole process again. I had to relearn the old signature and tried to do it as it appears. they reluctantly accepted and allowed us to proceed to the biometric section.

At the biometric section we waited and waited till it eventually got to our turn. as you already know, it says switch off your phone before you enter but imagine one of the ladies attending to people taking selfie. its a shame.

to my greatest surprise, a staff asked one of the applicants renewing his passport if he wants to transfer his old signature to the new passport he is applying for and he said yes. It this point, I felt like going back to give that young woman a very dirty slap but remembered i was in London.

NAIJA WHICH WAY..

PoliticsRe: Ebola: Liberia Apologises To Nigeria Over Virus Spread by onoja12: 2:17pm On Aug 08, 2014
The Liberian Government on Thursday apologised to Nigeria over the importation of the deadly Ebola Virus by a Liberian-born American, Patrick Sawyer.

Sawyer arrived Lagos on July 20 from Lome but died five days after he was admitted into a hospital in Obalende when he showed Ebola virus symptoms.

The Liberian-born American came into contact with 59 people in both the Murtala Mohammed International Airport and the hospital. Eight of the hospital contacts were quarantined at the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Yaba. One of them, a matron, who died on Tuesday became the first Nigerian casualty. Five others, including a female medical doctor, had as of Wednesday, tested positive to the virus.

The Liberian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Nurudeem Mohammed, told journalists in Abuja that President Ellen Sirleaf-Johnson, was deeply sorry that Sawyer brought the virus to Nigeria.

He said that the deceased was under surveillance in Liberia but that he sneaked into Lagos.

Mohammed said, “The Liberian President has personally called to apologise on the unfortunate development.

“She specifically said her country had declared a state of emergency over the Ebola epidermic in Liberia.

‘She equally apologised that Sawyer ignored medical advice and escaped out of Liberia.”

1)the question should be why was this american so desperate to bring the virus to nigeria to the extent he snicked into the country by ways that nigerian government are still trying to understand, because nobody can explain how a man that was stopped at the airport manage to board the flight

2)why was this american not taken back to america like others

3)why was he not treated with the new drugs just like other american

4)why did he piss on medical officials in nigeria, knowing fully well that he was affected by the virus

5)why did he avoid contact with people in liberia but decided to make contact with everybody in nigeria.

boko haram hasnt been so effective anymore, now its time to try ebola, the Gods of the land don't sleep, this sickness would not last at all

BTW, Seen might be a public figure, but he still has a personal identity, beliefs and ideals. He won't give it up because you visit his site for information and entertainment. That you choose to be blind to reality doesn't mean that everybody else should do the same.

GAY and LESBIAN movement,we are seeing you people, your plan for Africa can never work no matter how hard you people try,as for seun who is promoting this on his page please note,we the majority are the once that make you what you are,and when you begin to dance with the minority sick people,i can assure you,we would leave you

zboyd: For all those men and women that believe that a woman must submit to her husband and allow him to lead her, could you please answer the following questions:

For The Men:

1. Why do you believe submission is the recipe for long-term recipe success?
2. What is it you believe to be the key benefits of submitting for the female?
3. What does submitting to her husband bring to the woman and her life?
4. Why do some men label a woman a 'Single, Bitter Man-Hating Lesbian' when she shows she has a mind of her own, and will not hesitate to criticize negative, male attitudes and behaviors toward women, and refuse to submit to male authority?
5. Why do some men view a non-submissive woman as an attack on their manhood and pride?
6. Why do some men abuse and cheat on women who are totally and biblically submissive to them?
7. How would you feel if a woman leaves you, taking the kid/s with her, because she is fed up with your heavy-handed, domineering, controlling, dictorial, abusive, power-drunk ways - all in the name of "Woman, you must submit, because the Bible said so!"?
8. Why do some single men think women should categorically submit to men?
9. Why do some men physically threaten, physically abuse, threaten to take the children away and/or leave women who don't submit to them?
10. Why do some men choose to ignore the whole concept of submission, preferring instead to work together with their women to do whatever is necessary to benefit the household as a whole, rather than adopting a "What I say goes!" mentality, and in return reap the benefits of a happy home and happy children?

For The Women:

1. Why would a woman, in 2014, do anything in her life that was mandated and written by control freak men thousands of years ago, when women couldn't work, read, write, travel alone, own property, inherit property or money, vote, or even decide what to cook for dinner, unless their husband was involved?
2. Why would a strong, educated, loving woman of strength and character allow a man to dictate how she dresses, forbid her to wear makeup, ban her from socializing with friends, refuse her to work outside the home, further her education, take the money she works hard for, and demand she 'service' him whenever he pleases?
3. If you had a submissive relationship in the past but no longer find value in it - please explain what happened, and how have your views on submission have changed?
4. If you had a past submissive relationship and hated it, why are you now so much happier with a man who doesn't subscribe to the concept of submission?
5. Why do some women believe wifely submission means 'dumbing themselves down' to assuage men's fragile egos?
6. Why haven't smart, intelligent women discovered that men who demand women to subjugate themselves to them unconditionally tend to be those that lack confidence, are unsure of their se*ual prowess or physical attractiveness, or that feel they are lacking in some way and can't compete in the dating arena?
7. Why is it that smart, intelligent women haven't realized that a confident, self-assured man does not need or want a woman to submit or subjugate herself to him, because he is openly proud of her, acknowledges her skills and strengths, as she acknowledges his own skills and strengths, and embraces her as his equal partner?
8. Why is it that some women do not realize that a penis gives men no special powers, no increased abilities, no more knowledge or experience, doesn't make them smarter, better, faster or more superior, and does not entitle them to special privileges or rights, just because they're men, and, therefore, shouldn't be worshipped as demi-gods?
9. Why is it that some women don't realize that wifely submission is like a spreading cancer that is capable of destroying a woman's self-confidence and independent mind?
10. As a woman, are you willing to surrender your power and self to the control of men unconditionally, risking damage and possible destruction to the essence of your spirit, the very thing that makes you the strong, confident woman that you are?

Why should the B sample be tested in london, why not in a nigerian lab

denniece1: The Nigerian gold medallist Chika Amalaha has been
provisionally suspended from the Commonwealth Games
after an in-competition drugs test resulted in an anti-doping
violation, the Commonwealth Games Federation has
announced.

The 16-year-old Amalaha provided an ‘A’ sample on July
25 - shortly after winning the women’s 53kg category -
which revealed traces of diuretics and masking agents.
Amalaha will have a ‘B’ sample tested at a laboratory in
London on July 30.

The Commonwealth Games Federation chief executive,
Mike Hooper, said: “We [have] issued a formal notice of
disclosure to an athlete following an adverse analytical
finding as a consequence of an in-competition test. That
athlete is Nigerian weightlifter Chika Amalaha who was
tested on July 25th. That athlete has now been suspended
from the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.”

Hooper added: “[the substances] are diuretics and masking
agents. In general terms, these substances are on the
prohibited list for two reasons - firstly in weight category

tested. This will take place at an accredited laboratory in
London tomorrow, July 30. Upon receipt of those results

the criteria is a personal choice, lets look at it nobody forced you into a relationship, you set the criteria you used in picking your man and by so doing you appointment him your head all by yourself.nobody forced you,so his status doesn't matter,no his finances nor his qualifications, you can only take does into consideration before you made your appointment,it wouldn't count anymore once the appointment has been made

kmcutez: But what are those criteria that made them get appointed, selected or elected?
