Oga it's your representatives you should blame for the bad state of the road.
Your national assembly members are supposed to demand for the construction of this road. If they are docile, the road will remain like this or even get worse & your pple will continue to suffer from it.
Nobody is marginalizing you, it's your representatives that fail to speak up when representatives of other regions are demanding the best for their pple.

The good response from you about the Ihialla-Orlu road is noted in good faith.
Methinks, the other road - the Awka-Owerri road- is also held up because Reps from the area are apparently docile. This road meant to connect to Abuja has been in disuse state because a bridge was not constructed before Buhari military govt came in.

You spoilt it by mentioning tinubu. It was Buhari's effort from start to finish. The contractors were busy at work even before and after Tinubu's inauguration. It was a contract which was to be completed at a deadline so, Tinubu had no influence on it.

Buhari's government may not have done much. I give him kudos on road construction

But stop creating a country of double standards.
This 20 km Ihialla-Orlu federal road between Anambra and Imo States has been like this for ages.
The Ekwulobia-Orlu section of Awka-Ekwulobia-Ideato-Orlu-Umuaka-Owerri federal highway has been unusable since a bridge was not built before Buhari military govt struck in 1983.
Going from Awka to Owerri has been like a circumnavigation.

Umahi, you are superintending a coastal highway designed by Tinubu to link the oil producing areas of the Niger delta to Lagos, so that the link between the SE to the oli producing areas is drastically lowered.
Who will maintain the road if ever built by Tinubu?
Count the cost of maintaining a road all seasons in a marshy terrain. It's a FAILED PROJECT ab initio.

I said in an earlier thread that all Ocean Coastline in Nigeria belong to the Federal Government and they are the only entity that can issue titles in that regards,I am not capping but I was taught this in my University Undergrads days
I have challenged Landmark to seek legal redress because this is a very huge investment and we need to settle this matter of who really owns the Ocean Coastline once and for all

I also challenged Landmark to publish his documents to the general public and also for everyone involved to openly produce all certified drawings and plans of both the old abd new coastal roads

Sometimes it is better to keep quiet before you get all the facts

Who is gonna maintain this road assuming Tinubu govt will ever complete the road from Lagos to the oil areas?
Demolishing a most expensive Landmark in an attempt to build a coastal highway to join Oil producing areas to Lagos is most malicious in conception.
