Tufiakwa. A man is accused of stealing billions of Naira of the state. A group has audacity to querry the sincerity of the police in arresting the accused man. In saner climes, the signatories to the letter will also be arrested for being accomplices and beneficiaries in the crime. Let us divide this country so that every new country makes its laws. |
Paid agitation. Paid by Tinubu as usual to send signal to his northern critics that Yoruba will secede from Nigeria if Tinubu's government is sabotaged. Tinubu sponsored same Yoruba Nation agitators before the 2023 General elections as Plan B in case Buhari refused to hand power over to Tinubu. Yoruba Nation agitators even waved flags of Yoruba Nation in front of London Chatham House while Tinubu was speaking inside the House. |
Oligarchic government. Mahmood Yakubu represents the desire of the Fulani for Oligarchic government for Nigeria. That's what Yakubu Mahmood is working towards to. Buhari who appointed Yakubu Mahmood left a legacy of possible unbroken 24 years of Muslim presidency for Nigeria - an ample time for Islamic extremists of sharia criminal laws to prepare for Jihad to impose Islamic Republic of Nigeria ruled by an Oligarchic government with Sharia criminal laws. |
When the head is rotten, the whole body becomes decadent. Why has APC government refused to replace its appointed Chairman of INEC? Mahmood Yakubu took election in Nigeria to a most ridiculous level. |
From one ancestral home emerged everyone on earth today. Wherever one sees oneself living today is one's home. Tracing one's ancestral home is mere academic exercise. |
helinues:High cost of food. No money to buy food. No money to buy prescription drugs. All will amount to unprecedented death rate in Nigeria. Obviously, APC Alliance must have been made in agreement with enemies of rising black population in the world to halt rise of population of Black Africans beginning with Nigeria the most populated black country in the world. |
chyzoo4u:Mortgage your earnings for the next 30 years. All you need is 10% of the cost of the house. The rest of the cost which can be more than £200k keeps you mortgaged to bank for rest of your life. |
OmihaniFARH:Nneka Akudolu KC, defending, said the level of violence was ‘completely out of character’ for her client and might have been affected by medication he was taking. But she said no medical evidence would be provided to support this claim. Nneka's defence is vanity. Her client has had previous records of violence against his now late wife. If a man thinks his wife is wayward, separate from her. There are many other women out there. It's primitive to murder a woman out of jealousy. |
Max24:Beginning more than 20 years ago until 2014, Tinubu campaigned in all of the Western region for political restructuring of Nigeria because Tinubu was one of the few political leaders in the south of Nigeria who recognised the fraudulent political structure. The FRAUD in the political structure of 36 states + Abuja created by northern military dictators who proliferated 20 new federating units (states) in the old northern region but left only 17 states for the old two southern regions, consigned overwhelming political and economic advantages to the old Northern region but left the southern politicians as yes members to the dictates of northern political actors. The political structure funnels undue excess share of national income and development infrastructures to the northern region. Because at the NASS and the FEC where decisions are made, northern legislators and ministers overwhelmingly dominate. In bold. Tinubu seeing today 20 years ago means nothing if he is in power now but unwilling to solve the problems he saw 20 years ago. Every thinking person from the south of Nigeria believed political restructuring of Nigeria should be the number one agenda for Tinubu presidency. A retired military General from Edo or Delta state said during Buhari's civilian administration that Nigeria must be restructured either by PEACE or by FORCE. Buhari's response was that Nigeria's armed forces has been guarding our democracy since 1999. |
Konquest:Lagos State had all the money needed to invest on the Victoria Island/Eko Atlantic City land reclaim. Other State governments hardly afford urban drainage system for their cities. Rural drainage systems are out of the books. Asking State governors to provide funding to be complemented by the Federal government for control of erosion problems, is like passing the buck on erosion control from the federal to the state governors. The federal government needs to initiate and fund erosion control measures. The federal government had since assigned the task of erosion control to itself. |
NovusHomo:Former presidents and military HoS in Nigeria did their duty of tackling Erosion menace in many parts of Nigeria. GEJ must have done it somewhere. Ignore Buhari the ethno-religious president. Tinubu should have taken to control of the erosion problems in the Niger delta region first hand. The lands joining Anambra and Imo States are devastated by gully erosion. |
Prices never go down in Nigeria. Prices in other countries go up and come down according to fluctuations of currency exchange rate influenced by government policies. Nigeria under APC has lost traction, out of government control. |
Konquest:Bolded. Right from the beginning of the 1970s till today, the federal government has been in charge of erosion control measures in all the states of Nigeria. I remember the 1980s Auchi erosion control in then Bendel state by the Federal government. The erosion was huge. The erosion problems in Anambra and Imo States are watched by the Federal governnent to increase in dimensions. Methinks, it's part of continuation of the civil war through ecological and economic means. Nobody expected federal government leaders like Buhari from Arewa to control the erosion in the SE. What of Tinubu? |
LocalFARMERS:A gallant soldier should first of all know what he or she is fighting for. No gallant soldier would fight an endless war like the war against Boko Haram which is fighting for a country to be governed with Sharia criminal laws, the same laws adopted by the political and religious leaders in the 12 far northern Nigeria states since 2001. Subsequently, the difference between Boko Haram fighters and those who adopted sharia crimimal laws is like the difference between six and half a dozen; that's why the fight against Boko Haram is an endless religious war; it can end only if the sharia states of northern Nigeria are granted an Islamic Republic. Boko Haram fighters and most of the Muslims in the far north Nigeria states who adopted unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal laws between 1999-2001, are like the Taliban of Afghanistan. The Taliban fought and won for Afghanistan to be governed with Sharia criminal laws. Sharia criminal laws include stoning blasphemous persons to death, stoning women to death for adultery, cutting off the hands of thieves; among other primitive penal systems. A gallant soldier does not fight in vain. |
NovusHomo:Exploitation of crude oil with the resultant gully erosion in the Niger delta region was not there when Zik and alcoholic?? Ironsi were in office. Tinubu is president today. He is supposed to take charge of controlling the erosion problems in the Niger delta region. Gully erosion is devastating parts of Anambra and Imo States. Before crude oil started to be exploited, there was no gully erosion in these areas. |
Konquest:The federal government of Nigeria takes charge of stopping erosion problems in Nigeria, not the state governors. Did you not know that? Bola Tinubu as president is supposed to take charge of building erosion control systems in Nigeria. Oil exploitation in the Niger delta region is believed to be behind this erosion problems in the Niger delta region including Anambra, Abia and Imo States. If the federal government led by Tinubu does not build required erosion control systems in the Niger delta region, but is only interested in building a coastal highway along a most marshy and merciless terain solely to connect Lagos to the coastal oil producing areas of the Niger delta region, it's a sin for Tinubu government |
meditator:The highway is also malicious in concept, as well as a waste of scarce funds to solely connect Lagos to oil producing costal states with scantier population only; instead of building a highway to connect large population centres from Lagos-Benin-Onitsha-Nnewi-Orlu-Owerri-Aba-Porrharcourt-Calabar. What Peter Obi said is true. |
Eventually afflicted by PeterObiMania. Reno needs help. |
OluwasureGig:Crude oil in the Niger delta region is what is stopping division of Nigeria into more manageable countries. Some northern groups believe they can't survive without proceeds from crude oil. But they have urinated on Nigeria's Constitution through adoption of Islamic Sharia criminal laws. Some people from the SW region also believe their region can't survive without proceeds from crude oil in the Niger delta region. |
Nothing ever gets better in Nigeria. Everything gets worse. Tinubu should have done his research well before announcement of removal of fuel subsidy. |
Bobloco: “Viral videos on social media showed APC supporters in Ojo (LGA in Lagos) threatening to attack ethnic Igbo voters presumed to be pro-Obi. ------USA Reports. Yet the APC appointed court judges ratified the election as okay. If the judges had nullified the election because of violence, next election, politicians will advise their supporters to NEVER indulge in election violence for fear of election nulification |
Shikena:Unity bigger. You are gradually contributing to end the one Nigeria you desire for feeding from crude oil proceeds. |
lagonovo:For nearly 60 years, your people have taken your share of proceeds from crude oil from another region. You now tell us we are different people with different homelands in One Nigeria. And others will not participate in democratic elections in your region. Are you well upstairs? Why not secede with your people from Nigeria? Crude oil proceeds from another region will not allow you secede? |
lagonovo:A Danjuma Mohammed who was born by parents native to Yobe State but has lived in Onitsha for years, is qualified to become governor of Anambra State. If this Danjuma contests guber election in Anambra State and satisfies the constitutional requirements of winning in 2/3 of the number of local government areas in Anambra State, as well as win the highest number of votes in the election, nothing in this world will stop him from becoming governor of Anambra State. The same applies to an Okoro living in Yobe State. Same situation applies to a Danjuma or Okoro living in Oyo or Lagos State. Same applies to an Afolabi from Lagos State living in Anambra or Yobe State. Go and read Nigeria's constitution for a start. Your "we are Africans with our different homes" example makes you sound stupeed and primitive. Why do you accept proceeds from crude oil in the Niger delta region since you believe we have our different homes in Nigeria? |
Those who believe that crude oil in the Niger delta region is all there is for their survival in Nigeria are the ones holding Nnamdi Kalu captive. Buhari and his group. |
ZaRuleOfLaw:That's how to fight Jihad for a country to be governed with Sharia criminal laws through the use of government institutions. The Taliban of Afghanistan did similar thing to win the Jihad for Afghanistan to be governed with Sharia criminal laws. In 2001, Buhari vowed before a large crowd of Muslims in Kaduna that he would not stop until Islamic sharia criminal laws are applied in all the states of Nigeria. Sharia criminal laws include stoning blasphemous person to death, stoning women to death for adultery, cutting off the hands of thieves, etc. Most of the personnel of Nigeria armed forces today are from Northern Nigeria. Southern youths take to Jappa to foreign countries. |
Newlymarried:How come Nigeria army is like surrendered to Bandits who are offshoots of Boko Haram fighting for a country to be governed with Sharia criminal justice system? Sharia criminal laws were adopted by the political and religious leaders in the 12 far north states of Nigeria. Boko Haram emerged shortly after the sharia states adopted unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal laws. Who ordered withdrawal of the army from there? |
INDOMIE9090:Tell that to the man your big ogas imposed upon Imo state as governor. He governs only state capital. |
Shikena:Other people's land? It's one Nigeria you want, therefore, all lands in Nigeria automatically belong to everyone in Nigeria according to Nigeria's 1999 Constitution. You act as the Spokesman of the Niger delta region as well. Parasite. |
chopnaira:Glad the UN is getting to know. You want one Nigeria only because of crude oil and gas deposits in the Niger delta region of Nigeria. Only nitwits would want one country where one or other groups in the same country are not allowed to participate in the political affairs, including voting and being voted for, in another part of the same country. You poorly educated lot are laggards driving against the tide. |
Cindypresh:APC is not only a party of rougues, it's a party of ethno-religious bigots and laggards bent on driving Nigerians to abject poverty and Talibanization. See how Buhari established a possible unbroken 24 years of Muslim presidency for Nigeria to win ample time to actualize his vow of having sharia criminal justice system for all parts of Nigeria, akin to what the Taliban did in Afghanistan. It's only a blood sucker Islamic extremist who would dream of hoisting Islamic sharia criminal justice system upon all parts of Nigeria - a country nearly equally divided between Muslims and Christians. Imagine the calamity that must follow any attempt to impose Buhari's sharia criminal justice system upon all the states of Nigeria. One of the earliest demands of Alhaji Tanko Mohammed appointed Chief Justice of Nigeria by Buhari was for Islamic sharia criminal justice system be included in Nigeria's Constitution. |
happney65:Bayo Onanuga is still in Aso Rock. Onanuga decreed that Igbos next time must not repeat their desire to participate in the political elections in Lagos state. |
