Religious killings that began in higher gear after the political and religious leaders in the 12 far north states urinated on Nigeria's Constitution through adoption of Islamic Sharia criminal laws between 1999-2001. Sharia criminal justice system includes: stoning blasphemous persons to death, stoning women to death for adultery, cutting out the hands of thieves; and other obsolete punishment systems. After the sharia wars broke out, a BBC female Reporter asked Sani Yerima, the then gov of Zamfara state if he didn't understand that the Sharia criminal laws he introduced to the north would lead to break up of Nigeria. Boko Haram emerged thereafter and says that it's fighting for a country to be governed with Sharia criminal laws, like the Taliban of Afghanistan. Imo state wouldn't have missed the LP steering Imo state if not that the Imo governor is a specialist in using guns and unknown gunmen to silence voters and write election entries for his victory. Imo is the most backward state in the SE. |

Aptitude test must involve testing candidates for speed, knowledge and accuracy. Instead of asking complex questions on for example, Mathematics: ask what is the answer for 4-3+3×2÷2 as test for knowledge of BODMAS. Ask for answer to Cos40+Cos70 to test candidate's foreknowledge of trig before hand. |

Jokerman:Northern military dictators made that to subdue advancement in the south, not for North to catch up with the south educationally. The far north, for example, pays no premium to Western education but to Islamic education. What of the excess number of 20 states and hundreds of local government Councils proliferated in one region - north - by northern military dictators who created states and local government areas? Only 17 states and fewer local government Councils were left for the 2 southern regions. Three regions formed Nigeria in 1960. No other country formed by different regions ever used land mass or population as yardstick to determine where new federal units can be created, except perhaps, Nigeria. There should have been more new states in the two southern regions than in one northern region. Inequity was stamped into the 1999 Constitution by northern military dictators who supervised the Constitution. It's like a Decree in use to SUBJUGATE SOUTH OF NIGERIA TO EVENTUAL SLAVES TO NORTHERN REGION OF NIGERIA. Tinubu crisscrossed the SW region for more than 15 years pleading for political restructuring of Nigeria. Hopefully, Tinubu will go for political restructuring of Nigeria now. |
