Goke7:Proofs of rigging are all over the place beginning with disabling of the system for electronic transmission of vote results. Only a foolish arbiter will believe that the system just went bang - off - for nothing. That's a circumstantial evidence anyway. Those judges can't afford to to take Nigeria backwards because of common Tinubu. Nobody will ever believe INEC in future if the judges ignore the overwhelming proofs of rigging during the last presidential election. No judges will like to kill democracy in Nigeria and be forced to exile by mass protest because of an old certificate forgery expert and drug trafficking baron. |
osuofia2:Imo people were not allowed to vote last election. The Imo APC wrote results and gave to Inec led by Igbo enemy, he approved. Stop bothering yourself writing rubbish. In a free and fair election in November, Uzodinma will not win up to 3% of the votes statewide. He cannot even win his LGA. He has been sending delegates to woe Imo Diaapora. The delegates got booed and insults |
jaxxy:Any court that approves Tinubu as president of Nigeria risks judges of the court going to exile from Nigeria. Never in the history of Nigeria was presidential election so brazenly rigged in a most primitive way. |
It's like Tinubu has become heaven over us because of a flaw in Nigeria's Constitution permitting swear in of a person as president before the election dispute is cleared by the Judiciary. Those who have refused to amend the flaw have been using it to APPOINT PRESIDENT for Nigeria every presidential election. |
Absuchat:The one hand man, Achonu, must have be crazy with the level of poverty that struck him and made him go into that deal with the devil. |
tinsel:Meanwhile, the appellate court noted that the respondents did not file any brief or join issues in the appeal despite proof that they were served with the appellant’s brief. APC arguing with APC in Appeal court. The same manner you argue against yourself. |
tinsel:End of democracy; end of crude oil sustained countries.. Nwite judgement of 2022, did it take place before or after the Electoral Act of 2022? |
The court held that Section 50(2) and Section 60(5) give INEC “very wide discretionary powers” to determine how it transmits or transfers election results. In other words, the Executive and the Legislative Arms of government wasted billions of Naira in vain making the Electoral Act of 2022. What a retrogressive judge. Appointment of presidents for Nigeria suits the Oligarchic rule lovers of Nigeria from where this leading judge is coming from. They have appointed an old and ailing Tinubu through Mahmood Yakubu, and they are ready to throw the Electoral Act of 2022 put of the window. They will hit the rocks this time. |
"Our priorities are wrong. We have gone to the dog with our morals"--- Apt. One example: Nigeria's group boasted that the SE will be made worse than the NW, and has been pursuing the boast through many 5th columnists unleashing insecurity in the SE which used to be safest in the country. This not withstanding the civil war fought like a Jihad which made it result to huge number of casualties. |
omooba74:Even as you boasted during the presidential election campaign that your daddy Tinubu influenced the appointments of many of the Supreme Court judges of today, the evidences against Tinubu's election CAN NEVER BE UPTURNED TO RATIFY TINUBU AS PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA. |
buckeyemedia:Typical of Tinubu's Agbado eater, insulting only but makes no sense in a comment. |
buckeyemedia:Typical of Tinubu's Agbado eater - makes no sense in a comment. |
Kog45:Even a little boy knows that after APC's Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket polarised the electorate on religious grounds, Alhajis Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar and Rabiu Kwankwaso shared the votes of their religious and ethnic constituencies in the far north and parts of the South West regions during the election; and that made Peter Obi win the presidential election with a very wide margin. On the eve of the election dsy, Mahmood Yakubu on noticing the trend of the voting early, quickly disabled the system for electronic transmission of vote results from BVAS to INEC portal. Thereafter, Yakubu resorted to the discarded manual method of collation of votes and contrived vote figures to announce Tinubu of the APC which appointed him as INEC Chairman, winner of the presidential election. |
okrote4real:APC's claim that it won the presidential election while the result of the election is still under the Judiciary to decide who truly won, amounts to contempt of court by the APC. |
okrote4real:When you said that nullifying your election because of 25% votes requirements in Abuja would lead to anarchy, did you not know that you were threatening the Judicial arm of Nigeria's government? |
"However, Tinubu, through his counsel, Wole Olanipekun, argued that the FCT is the 37th state for electoral purposes" ... Two places in the constitution where Abuja Capital territory were thoroughly mentioned: 1) under the heading of ELECTION. 2) under the heading of ADMINISTRSTION. In 1, the constitution says that a presidential candidate must win 25%of votes in 2/3 of the number of states and Abuja capital territory before declared winner. On 2, the constitution says that Abuja must be administered like other states. It never mentions Abuja as the 37 state. The framers of the constitution knew that the president doubles as governor of Abuja federal capital territory, and that to govern a territory successfully, the president must win a minimum of 25% of votes in Abuja federal capital territory; as well as win 25% of votes in 2/3 of the number of states in Nigeria. Tinubu did not win 25% of votes as required in Abuja capital territory; therefore should not have been declared winner of the last presidential election. |
Yessufu Datti said that swearing in Tinubu while election petitions are still not decided, is like ending democracy in Nigeria. Tinubu's threats and plots are also proving Datti 100% right. |
felifeli:At least Obi is healthy and folllows events upandan. Tinubu cannot even watch football for 10 mins without asking for his drugs. Tinubu promised you renewed hope. Empty promise. Develop more sense.
|
ManirBK:Opposite direction. Under Tinubu, 5th Columnists are devised to spread insecurity. The recently emboldened Asari Dokubor and Simon Ekpa in worsening insecurity in the SE is a typical example. |
Twominds:Security agents who stay in their hundreds in a place in the east with their armoured prsonell carriers, while about 10 armed Jihadists in SUVs enforce sit at home orders given by Simon Ekpa, the 5th Columnist fighters commander, in the east. |
Gunmen in the other side of Nigeria - E de sweet una like sugar.. The Islamists promised three years ago that they would make the east worse than the NW. Why should there be gunmen in the east after all, there are no religious extremists here, no group is going for Islamic Sharia criminal laws, in this part of Nigeria? |
omooba74:Dense. |
Omenlon:Reading a text that intends to rewrite the constitution of Nigeria through the figment of imaginations of Olanipekun? There is nothing he can write to convince anyone that, for example, a presidential candidate does not require to win 25% of votes in Abuja capital territory before declared winner. |
Lotanna2:We are talking about the main election. What brought up runoff election here? When we reach the bridge, we shall talk about how to cross the river. For now, it's about the main presidential election held last February. In two places the constitution talked about Abuja: first place is on Election where it says that a presidential candidate must win 25% of votes in 2/3 of the number of states and Abuja capital territory. The president governs Abuja, it's thetefore compulsory that a presidential candidate must win at least 25% of votes in a territory the president will govern. Second place is on Administration where the constitution says that Abuja shall be administered like other states. It does not say that Abuja is a state. |
Lotanna2:Oh yes, but because a president is not only governor of Abuja federal capital territory, he is also saddled with presiding over the entire country, that's the reason why the framers of the constitution prescribed a minimal 25% of votes to be won by a presidential candidate in Abuja capital territory; after winning 25% of votes in 2/3 of the number of states, before declared winner of a presidential election. |
Kalakulu: |
chokekachy:Non conviction forfeiture doesn't exist in criminal offences like drugs trafficking. Once one forfeits money from drugs trafficking, it's punishment for partaking in a criminal offence. In any case; Justice Airowolo had once ruled that forfeiture of money or property is punishment for crime committed by who forfeited. |
The constitution of Nigeria 🇳🇬 is clear (does not require any further interpretation even to a sophomore law student) on the 25% requirement for a presidential candidate before declared winner. Because the president is constitutionally the governor of Abuja federal capital territory, the constitution framers insisted that a presidential candidate must win a minimum of 25% of votes in Abuja capital territory before declared winner of a presidential election. No one can successfully administer a territory one is not welcome by a substantial number of voters in the territory. There's nothing fiction about 25% of votes requirements for Abuja capital territory. |
BabaIbo:Too many. The killings in the SE originated from the desires of Islamic extremists. Do some research beginning from when the far north adopted sharia crimimal laws and the wars that followed that, to when the NE became Boko Haram enclave, to when bandits that are offshoot to Boko Haram rampage the NW, and the boast by Islamic extremists that they will make the SE look worse than the NE. The SE was the most peaceful part of Nigeria then even with IPOB people marching in tens of thousands in every city in the SE. |
BigBlackPreek:Tinubu has started with Buhari style: plant Biafra flag on a spot from where soldiers dislodged criminals. The lust for cheap cash from crude oil in the Niger Delta region has become chronic disease for some people. Venezuela 🇻🇪 is like Nigeria - oil producing giants. Both countries are the poverty capitals of the world. |
Troops fight Unknown gunmen that were menacing Asaba. Not IPOB people. |
One way, the hike in air fares is good to the southern people who make up nearly 90% of japa emigration. As the southerners leave, northerners from the Sahel region up to Niger 🇳🇪 Republic move down south to occupy the positions abandoned by the southerners in the south. By the time the japa southerners want to return home; their hometown has been under menace by Islamic extremists. It's already working out that way in the south eastern region of Nigeria. |
