Apparently, Rotimi Amaechi doesn't understand that the too many states unjustifiably proliferated in the old northern region of Nigeria by Arewa soldiers under unitary government system, is reason why Arewa politicians mostly determine who emerges as president of Nigeria.

Amaechi doesn't understand that the rigged political structure under unitary government system is why he and other southern politicians play subservience to northern Nigeria's politicians.

What gives some far northerners the liver to scout for a northern Muslim to succeed president Buhari is the skewed and lopsided political structure of Nigeria created by northern soldiers to favour the far north.
Seven states littered in the NW region. 6 states littered in the NE region. A presidential candidate must win 25% of votes in 24 states before declared winner of Nigeria's presidential election. Candidates from the NW and NE regions are therefore the most favoured in presidential elections.

What criteria were used to liter 13 states in two far north regions?
