AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 7:30pm On May 06, 2010
@Eros
In as much as we are trying to get things sorted out, we still need a clear proof or a complete transaction to confirm IF he is a fraud or not. Beecrofty provided some details on behalf of Bafams, the last detail he sent did not make any complete pointer, even the police needs something they can use.

This all will easily mean his attitude and business approach being immature or unethical BUT not enough to call him a fraud. Thats what we are begging anyone who claims he has been duped to come up with the details and state it clearly here; tomorrow is Friday, we can all meet at a police station with jurisdiction over the transaction area (Pointing to Ajah) and we can take it up from there.

My 50 cents cheesy

@George_D
You're alright Bre.

Its really crazy, working hard for millions and wasting it away like that. I really am impressed with some of our dealers here (Inspired inclusive) - they bill BUT deliver, thats business.

Im willing to help get this thing on with PTC as long as Beecrofty and Bafams can clarify and we all meet at the Police Station.

I wonder where Bafams is;

I just got a call from German007, he said he knew about the transaction from day 1 and he kept warning Bafams about the transaction, and told me he warned Bafams that it was not possible to get that vehicle for the amount that PTC Consult was offering;

1. The Honda in question was a vehicle on eBay for auction (PTC Consult sent the link to Bafams and Bafams shared the link with German007)

2. Bafams asked German007 to help him do a VIN check on this particular Honda, which German007 did and confirmed the Vehicle was ok for Bafams to buy BUT still expressed to him that something was wrong somewhere with the offering and the deal.

3. German007 made it clear that even when our brother Bafams had made complete payment to PTC Consult, the Vehicle was still actively advertised on eBay and was still being bidded for.

This is a very terrible lesson; people should learn of the few known dealers here that one can do the overseas thing with; German007 (who will update all transactions online and would even offer a free VIN check, even when you refuse to buy from him), Kunle-A (who will make you understand all the technicals in the vehicle and VIN before telling you to buy or not), Inspired (will actually breakdown everything you need to know about the vehicle from the onset and will update people on the transaction - like that oil man's Highlander cheesy), Fhemmmy (who will even throw in a free laptop cheesy) and a few others.

Seriously, its a general BUYERS BEWARE.

Beecrofty and/or Bafams should clarify the claims and let us move quickly at this kind of situation before worse things happen out here.

What phone is that phone cradle for? does it work with the sound system with its own mic? OR is it just a charger cradle?

@Beecrofty
Thanks for the details;

1. Who is Awokoya Bukola C.?
2. How much was paid into that account in total?
3. IF payment was made in parts, how much for each payment?
4. When was/were these payments made?
5. Was the vehicle delivered?

I need these details so we can decide on how to move immediately
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 7:32pm On May 05, 2010
@Violent
My apologies for the misunderstanding.

The fact is that IF anyone has proof of payment and fraud; like I said I can help by having the police involved immediately and we can use the account details (Including referee parties) to trace the individual who has comitted the fraud BUT in a case where we do not have anyone coming to say this is the payment proof, we cannot do anything - and I will not call that person a suspect or a fraud.

I know there will be cases where even our "credible" dealers advertise a car which is not directly theirs and post it online with pictures; meanwhile the original owner is driving that same vehicle with a big "BUY ME" sign on it. When you now schedule a meeting with the dealer and get there and it happens that the owner cant make that appointment OR the owner just sold it that morning - what would you do to your advert/thread ?, what would you say about that dealer?

There are instances, BUT my problem with the guy is that he is either too proud to disregard all of our calls OR he is too timid and cowardly taking the quit card.
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 5:34pm On May 05, 2010
I cant call him a suspect or be a party to calling him that because no one has come to say he paid to him and this is the proof of payment. Something else; we can call him anything we want, it doesnt change who he is on the streets AND can be online with another ID right now.

Its only easier to ask him to come out and say what it is he has to say to set the record straight.

The OP on the other end, without proof is nobody as far as I am concerned because he might be a competition in business because he mentioned instances he refused to provide explanations or proof. Thats very empty because same way someone tried ruining a known dealer's ID here.

These are my views and strictly mine.
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 1:52pm On May 05, 2010
@PT Consult
Dont be too proud either, you need to come clear and set things straight. Every business involves hustling, you only need to learn how to wrap things up - this is a good forum where you can lay things the way it is and people tell you what they understand.

Can you source and reprogram an uncut diamond key (not the shell) for an e39 5 Series BMW
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 1:02pm On May 04, 2010
@Songus

Exactly my point. No Proof means nothing is going on and at that we cant call him a fraud based on his marketing approach. You work hard for your money and would pay 2M for a car without any physical contact or bank transaction?? Im trying hard to see this BUT I cant.

We cant just watch user IDs and IP addresses, we should encourage whoever has proof of payment to come out and lets do this guy (IF he has scammed anyone). We also need to be careful not to let the same person or people run us round like idiots.

I know of a popular dealer that told me he had an ML (He placed the picture here on nairaland.com), we closed the deal on phone and I got there with cash and he told me to give him 30 minutes, I left and he called me he later called me that he now has two MLs in stock I should come and make my choice, I got there there was only one dead one and I asked him about the one he put on nairaland.com, he started telling me stories and I left immediately. That is not a scam, thats a fool trying to make the run.

It appears Berger and any car shop with the vehicle you need on ground will be a better deal for anyone than online.
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 11:00am On May 04, 2010
@Jacklucas
You have a point; I have this name and Chief_D which was impossible to close when "Pastor" would fill my inbox with emails about his "Church" and money making schemes. That was why I abandoned it over a year ago until my current user name had the software problem days back and I continued posting for about 2 days BUT stating that its still me. So that makes it very different.

The thing is that we can help anyone who has been scammed by PT Consult (IF he indeed scammed anyone on nairaland.com) by meeting up at the Police Station with the payment Info.
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 10:01am On May 04, 2010
@Dantitiki
There is very little Monitor_1 can do. You can ban his username and he registers with another (It becomes a cat and mouse thing) He might actually be online now advertising some other cars with different numbers (200 bucks for a line?)

The real is that we need an actual situation with actual bank account info. and the payee can meet me up at a Police station (I had already passed a hint last night) - then we do the nailing.

Without that, we are simply all posts
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 9:57am On May 04, 2010
@Dantitiki
The number I called was a US number and spoke with him. And at that time he told me it was not in Nigeria yet. Its not my style doing the overseas thing except Im talking to someone like Kunle-A, German, Fhemmmy and a few others. Besides I could source that from someone like yourself locally.
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 8:42am On May 04, 2010
OK. Now it gets more complicated.

Anyone actually experienced this guy? Lets nail him (IF he has actually scammed anyone)
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 12:40am On May 04, 2010
Well, it all still shows no proof anyone was scammed.

Sorry IF I misunderstood you though.
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 11:49pm On May 03, 2010
@Beecrofty
We are not here to play guess games or mess with anyone's name without concrete proof either.

Since you have some sort of closeness/relationship with Rawe45, then its only proper you declare facts like letting us know IF for real he was scammed or not.

Anyone can price cars as many times as they want - It does not show IF the person is a ready buyer or just making out a budget for the Auto.

Please confirm to us (IF YOU CAN) the status of the transaction. We can take up the case Asap.
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 11:42pm On May 03, 2010
@Layzie
@Freshmoney
Beecrofty has confirmed on the original thread that there actually is a Rawe45 and he is different from PT Consult. Its now up to Rawe45 or Beecrofty to help us out by actually confirming IF Rawe45 got this car or not.

IF he did not, then there is a lot we can do here like getting the bank info he paid with to the Police for immediate action.

@Beecrofty
Concerning the Police001 person; IF it happens that its any of Rawe or Bafam then they are being very unfair to us all. Its always better to come correct so we can meet in real life at a Police station and get this thing sorted appropriately.
AutosRe: Sold Sold; Another 05/06 Honda Eod With Navigation To Rawe45 Of This Great House by Onwan: 11:35pm On May 03, 2010
@Beecrofty
Thank you for the clarifications.

So there is a Rawe45 and he is different from PT Consult.

Could you please confirm to us IF Rawe45 got the vehicle OR not; we can get the Bank details from him and the local number/addresses to trace the guy IF he was scammed.

Just because we are all posts dont mean we are helpless or cant help one another.
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 10:50pm On May 03, 2010
Bafams made a very big mistake (IF Indeed this really went down)

If you go to Berger that particular model is everywhere and you will be confused on which to choose from, and the wasteful part is that they are even cheaper than the price posted.

He needs to let us know how we can help him out IF the situation is still the same.

Internet has made room for a lot of crap. Its a global thing, not just here in Nigeria (Very disappointing IF it happened that way) - Even on eBay and online stors in the US, Ive had bad experiences ordering through some folks on nairaland.com and you find out that they received the fake items from the online dealers
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 10:25pm On May 03, 2010
The problem is that with Internet we just are limited to determining who or what is real and not.

I can only think of ONE solution; a seperate and different Nairaland.com account for Sellers; which will entail a bank account to be verified and confirmed - all transactions should then be done via that account. I cant even think of any other thing to prevent such people.

BUT the Bafams guy that will pay NGN500,000.00 to someone over a car without seeing the person? or at least know where to hook up with the person? Are we sure there is a Bafams?
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 10:19pm On May 03, 2010
@Freshmoney
I just asked for Bafams to provide some details on that other thread;

1. Phone number he has been reaching PT Consult on locally
2. Bank account number he paid into

If he can quickly give us this, then I can help by personally taking this details to the Police first thing in the morning, as long as he can come in person and we follow this scammer up (IF HE IS) and have him traced.
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 10:14pm On May 03, 2010
@Layzie
Very good point; That makes a lot of sense.

Only that Im wondering why Bafams has not updated the house ever since.
AutosRe: Sold Sold; Another 05/06 Honda Eod With Navigation To Rawe45 Of This Great House by Onwan: 10:01pm On May 03, 2010
@Bafams

What number have you been reaching PT Consult on?
What account number did you pay into?

Please provide the info so we can pass it to the Police immediately, they will trace it. I can personally help with that tomorrow morning.
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 9:54pm On May 03, 2010
Yemiking! thanks for the concern, but it has been delivered( U knw where i dey now?, i go upload the pics as soon as i get back on saturday), holler me tso we could make that deal work jare! u'll always be a brada da bomb!

Ptconsults, I'll prefer you to anyone anyday anytime!,

Freshomney,
thanks for yuor concern, you'll always be appreciated!

Beecrofty, Nice comment; hope u're kul?

This is from the last page on the thread, that was the last post from Rawe45 on that thread.

It will be very unfair to us all IF Rawe45 did not get his car AND did not alert us all. In the absence of that, is it right for any of us to say he scammed Rawe45 or any other person? Layzie, Freshmoney do we have any proof? where is Rawe45? Are you sure he is not driving the car around now?
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 9:09pm On May 03, 2010
@Freshmoney
Been chasing that paper around the globe Bre cheesy

From that link/thread I found out that the Rawe45 is driving his ride happily and says he will prefer Ptconsult to anyone else on nairaland.com - meaning that guy has not and did not scam anyone.

I think "Police"001 is just a phoney hater
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 8:31pm On May 03, 2010
@Freshmoney
How are you?, its been a while Bre.

What actually happened between him and Bafams?, did Bafams lose money to him ?, how much and how did he pay?
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 8:08pm On May 03, 2010
@Beecrofty
I feel you on this BUT what if he has never gotten any deals on nairaland? I know I have called once from the states and I spoke with someone who told me the vehicle I was interested in has not yet been shipped to Nigeria, later I saw the vehicle advertised on nairaland as just arrived - which makes sense to me.

My issue is this; there are business people who dont trust their relations or anyone in Nigeria and would rather you contact them overseas directly - especially IF it involves weights like this.

Beecrofty - has anyone paid this man?, has anyone been duped by him? IF NOT I dont see this as anything else BUT a way to ruin the man's image by a misfit. Simple question - "Police"001 said he was referring to "Recent" "Revelations" - are you aware of any posts to that effect? was there even any posts to that effect?

I can tell you right now - "Police"001 is just another a.s.s wipe
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by Onwan: 7:36pm On May 03, 2010
Its begining to look stupid to me. This might all be some idiot (The poster I mean) trying to ruin another's name.

If there is a person who has been duped on nairaland.com by Ptconsult, let that person speak up. That is the same way some freak almost ruined German007's image here.

Im not in support of this. What "recent revelations" is the poster even talking about?, has anyone reported an actual transaction between his/her self and Ptconsult? IF NOT then I suggest people like Police001 should stop posting trash like this.
