He is emphasizing on EVERYTHING he did not just the PC Suite alone. It is a court session and the guy is giving his witness which is not a conventional one. It involves technology and not everyone in that court knows exactly how it is done so the guy has to explain everything to the last detail.

Why is that not easy for u guys to see.

Old wizard is a foolish Yoruba bigot! He is not awusa.

Whatever happens, if they like let them bomb from now till eternity, GEJ will finish his tenure and even sef get his own jara if he does well. Bombing is only boomeranging now. They probably wanted to use it to scare people for some few weeks but it spiralled out of control.

Now northerners will need much more than a miracle to become president again.

The fact that people are actually holding brief for that lunatic of a prof. is shocking!

How can someone who is in US quote a section of a constitution which says the president should be removed if he is insane and spits it on our faces that our president is insane? Chai! Nigeria or is it nairaland is full of surprises!

I remember when some guys from Ghana made a song 'thank God we are not a Nigerians', everybody on nairaland swooped on them that they have NO RIGHT to tell us that we are corrupt. Now a Ghanaian insulted the president of Nigeria and toddlers on nairaland are hailing him. Egwu dikwa! Nairaland has been overtaken by teenagers and that is a fact!

This is what the law says in Paragraph 3. The information from the declarations will be made PUBLIC! That is what Jonathan is afraid of and hence why he refuses to declare his asset more than a year into the term.
What has any of that got to do with you running all over nairaland misquoting the man.

It is on record, and will be on Youtube for the world to see and hear for themselves soon. Yet we see people here denying it to their fellow Nigerians thinking that by doing so, they somehow win some medal here or in heaven . . . I don't get it. ROFLMAO!!
When the youtube version comes, it will still show what you posted and the thing is, you are not even getting it! You are damn grin sooo bleeped!

You Posted this:
Asked why he had not declared his assets, Mr. Jonathan replied in an impatient tone, stating “I don’t give a damn” about declaration of assets. He related that he had gone to the late President Umaru Yar’Adua to caution “that we should not play to the hands of some people [by openly declaring their assets].” Mr. Jonathan added, “That is a matter of principle and I am not going to declare. It is not the president declaring his asset that will end Boko Haram.”
How can you then not see the OPENLY DECLARING part? How ehh?

Are you that damn lazy?

Fact is you guys have concluded your president is not smart but he has consistently proved you guys wrong; not even counting the part that HE is the president while YOU are the assylum seeker in US! grin grin grin

PoliticsRe: Governor Peter Obi Defend His Goverment Over Nasir El Rufai Accusations by onyengbu: 5:39pm On Jun 21, 2012
Onlytruth: I try to avoid Anambra threads because I don't want to get involved in some silly local politics. I do enough of Anambra arguments with fellow Anambrarians in our many forums at Yahoo and elsewhere. My experience from those forums tell me that a camel will pass through the eye of the needle before we have a FAIR ASSESSMENT of the Peter Obi administration.

For me, all I do to get to the truth is I call home and inquire of my brothers and relatives about Obi's performance.
From what they tell me, Obi is not a failure, by a long short. BTW they are all Ngige's supporters o (including my humble self in the past). I no longer support Ngige because he has stubbornly stayed in ACN. He is not thinking about the bigger picture, and in his pursuit of personal political relevance at the center, he is introducing a strange party to Igboland. If he leaves ACN tomorrow, I may change my mind, assuming Soludo somehow stays in PDP, or Dora Akunyili never re-contests under APGA.

Methinks that the more BITTER Obi's critics are, the more likely they are supporters of either Ngige, or Uba or so many other countless folks who want to rule Anambra state.
A fair critic of Obi would NOT be bitter, afterall Anambra state is not the person's personal property. lol

I also frown at this idea that Awka must look like Enugu or other state capitals before Obi gets a pass mark.
Even Abakaliki was not developed today. As of the 70s and early 80s Abakalaliki already had roads. Awka was a VILLAGE before 1999. To transform Awka overnight, Anambra would need to be an oil producing state. Even Uyo sef is not that much better in terms of development bearing in mind that Akwa Ibom is a TOP oil state.
For a state with ZERO federal presence and with some of the least federal allocations, the state is not bankrupt and Obi has saved Anambra from reckless borrowing. To me, that is enough achievement.
When you ask some of these critics to pay more taxes now, they will call for your head loudest.
You can't eat your cakes and have it.
Eheee.. Eze cheregodu first;

I disagree completely with you on the bolded(s) cheesy
First, being bitter doesnt automatically make one and Ngige or Uba supporter. One might have been an Obi supporter and then later became bitter when Obi disappointed. I am one of such people. You cant say that one wont be bitter against Obi. As a matter of fact you can cricticize the man without being bitter. He took us like 10 years back.
Almost every anambrarian loved ngige while he lasted and when he was removed he did what other politicians dont do by asking everyone to support Obi and believe me everyone (me inclusive) did. However, everyone waited and waited for obi to continue where others stopped and we NEVER stopped waiting till today. Initially he made everyone believe it is the Ubas that is using the lawmakers to derail him and we believed him and still hoped he will bounce back while cursing the Ubas. Ubas realised that the man is riding on their back and went underground and
no one heard from them again till 2010 elections.
When Obi has ran out of excuses, he now resorted to lies and propaganda. It is all working for him but not people that live in anambra. It is there for everyone to see.

I know that governance is not easy but anambra people have tasted worse (Oderaa) and best (ngige) only to be dragged down to good or maybe bad even (Obi).
NYSCRe: No Northern State Is Safe For Youth Service! by onyengbu: 10:36am On Jun 21, 2012
azpekuliar: I disagree with your assertion that NO northern state is safe for prospective youth corp members. I served in Kebbi state in 2010 when the insurgency was making a rebound in the North-East after the brutal suppression of the sect in 2009 by the NPF, and my service year was peaceful. Its been 2 years since and the situation hasn't changed one bit. It is not enough to make a blanket generalization. Kebbi and a few other states in the North-West are close to the seat of the Caliphate in Sokoto and that accounts for their being Islamic moderates and hence a staunch resistance for this brand of violent extremism with roots in the North-East. Furthermore, the country as a whole has grave security challenges that are not just limited to any particular geographically location. The NYSC scheme also has its challenges chief among which is its integrity. I would rather engage in a debate on how to restructure the scheme and the Nigerian police in light of the new challenges they now face. Placing a blanket ban on the posting of corp members to any Northern state is an ultra-simplistic approach to the twin problem of national security and the integrity of the NYSC scheme.
Since 2010! Chaii!!!!

Has there been any bomb in Kaduna in 2010? Did any bomb go off in Adamawa till this year? What about Yobe and Kano?
Mister make you just shut it? no one knows when and where it will happen. They are even moving southwards let alone wild wild north!
PoliticsRe: Governor Peter Obi Defend His Goverment Over Nasir El Rufai Accusations by onyengbu: 6:59pm On Jun 20, 2012
It will be an effort in futility trying to counter all that Peter Obi put up here. It is such a long post filled with half truths.

Anambra is not a poor state and anyone (especially El Rufai) who says otherwise is an arsehole!

That said, Peter Obi is a big lair! Most of the projects he listed there are either substandard, cheap or uncompleted. most of what he terms bridges are mere culverts. The roads he is counting in hundreds of kilometers are so badly done that they develop potholes even while the contractors are on site! Igbariam - Awkuzur road comes to mind. Patching work commenced on this road less than six months of construction! That was in 2008. Today, that road is almost unpliable. Same goes to most if not all roads that Peter Obi constructed whereas some of the roads done by Jim Nwobodo in the early eighties are still manageable today.

However, one of the things he did and did well was this issue of equipping security men. H e bought hundreds if not thousands of trucks for Police and Army. Infact almost all patrol vehicles used by police and army today in Anambra was bought by Obi.
That is quite commendable even though it didnt stop the men of the underworld. How ngige succeded to bring robbery from a hopeless level to almost zero in just 1 year without all these security improvisations remains a mystery.

Who are we going to blame the attack on Igbinedion University on? BH,Niger Delta militant group or Alqaeda? ler us keep living in denial.Until we all can stand up and face our stupid leader there wont be peace in this country... They did that in Ghana and they are very happy today.
Ndume was taken to court and the court freed him on bail. It might not make sense to you but that how it works in democracy.
The spokesperson that was jailed is still in jail unless you have a new information about him. Your so called 'ibo' guy and many others arrested are either in detention or jail.

The problem here is that people tend to forget that the game has changed! We have a new kind of threat under a different kind of government. If it had been under military rule, Ndume and whoever can be held forever without anyone asking questions. But you can do it now especially since we dont yet have the kind of legislation that allows authorities that hold unto a terrorism suspect as long as they want!

Insurgency is new to Nigeria and because of years of bad governance, our security and borders are on zero level. it will take years again to get things to get near to being normal.

Just assume that YOU that is reading now and is a terrorist, will it not be easy for you to go and purchase bomb making materials and make them in the privacy of your flat without even your next door neighbour noticing.

In naija today, there arent any records, cameras, biometrics database, vehicle registration records. police are easily made to look the other way and no one knows who anyone is. NOTHING WORKS! The country has beeen a have for terrorists its just that they discovered nigeria just recently!

Anyone that expects the government to wave a magic wand to stop these attacks is either being naive or insincere!

Even my yoruba friends that travelled with me were astonished about what they saw on ground. Anambra, no doubt has one of the best road networks in the country and the major eyesore is the enugu-onitsha expressway which is a federal road and under construction. Anambra west has never had it so good with serious economic activities going on. Awka equally is fast developing with many hotels and clubs springing up ( another owerri in the making). Question 2: Did all those industry, employment, literacy and wealth got better under Obi or hasnt it been that way before him?
