It gives me serious concern that you are even considering denouncing christianity. Without christ, nothing for you. Hold Christ firmly and get rid of fear and doubt and you will be made whole. Yes! Demonic and unclean spirits have power but not more power than Christ can handle. You need to know rights as a citizen of God's Kingdom. You can't be friendly with demonic spirit and expect to be rid of it. It is like dining with your enemy. YOU CAN COMMAND IT AND WATCH IT FLEE IF YOU KNOW WHERE YOU BELONG. Be encouraged. The solution is in Christ and in Him alone.

The 2nd semester for 2012/2013 session has just started and would run till May 2014. Your admission is for 2013/2014 session which will start around June/July 2014. It will be wasteful to even think of coming to Calabar now for you cannot be attended to till Unical resumes for the next academic session. Kindly stay put where you are.
Henshaweezy: Bro please jus got admitted into dept of applied geophysics..has registrations started? Do i need to go to unical now..presently working in warri

me_for_you: are u comparing the educational standards of imo and ebonyi now? Don't go there. Owerri alone has far more institutions of higher learning than ebonyi will have in 20 years.
If you people are that peaceful why are u still fighting with matchetes in this 21st century?
As for d digital radio station, ask them to be speaking central igbo not calabar like "usari, idonko" that only ebonyi people understand
I get am before no be property. It is not about the number of tertiary institutions that we are talking about here. Your so called Imo gurus, as sound as they are labelled, find it difficult graduating after four years of study in the same department(Unical) that 2 Ebonyi people have finished best graduating students within three academic sessions(I'm one FYI). And another Ebonyian is about proudly breaking another record in same department. Wake before it is too late. You used to be better then, but we are taking over.
PoliticsRe: Is Ebonyi No Longer Part Of Nigeria? by onyibajoe(m): 7:35pm On Dec 31, 2013
me_for_you: you are just showing how backward you and your people are. That's why no anambra or imo man can ever marry you.
Our girls reject your Anambra and Imo men because they don't want to be used for money rituals. The stubborn ones still do. BTW, how long have you stayed in Lagos? Do you want to die there? You had better be going home from time to time in order to know what is happening there. I'm sure it's because you could not meet our standard that your best ever girlfriend from Afikpo left you. Better "go and die" and leave Ebonyi and Ebonyians alone. I'm happy my sister, justbeingme, has adequately humbled you.

PoliticsRe: Is Ebonyi No Longer Part Of Nigeria? by onyibajoe(m): 2:51pm On Dec 31, 2013
Solupeace: I've to take a time out to comment on this as doing otherwise will be a great disservice to my great state.@op I hope the essence of creating this topic is to" put" EBONYI on news and not to pour insults on the great people of Ebonyi. It's heart-breaking to see how Nigerians use any available room to belittle others, in this case,Ebonyians. This state was created in 1996 together with Bayelsa,Ekiti, Gombe, Zamfara and Nassarawa: any objective criticism should be done bearing these states in mind. There is no state in Nigeria that does not have a handful of enlightened individuals , so Ebonyi is not handicapped at all. I don't intends to start mentioning names as we live in information age and whosoever that truly wants to know about Ebonyi can easily get it.I'm a gtreat Ebonyian also from Okposi:as a person I have travelled to all the states of Nigeria and have always held my head very high as a young Nigerian. Okposi as a town not to talk of the state capital can pass as a very civilised place any time. I must not fail to add that I'm not impressed with mascot87 who was sent to Ebonyi to help build and also be her Ambassador but he has turned himself to be the chief prosecutor notwithstanding the love and kindness that he was showered with though he has taken it for timidity. I served in Sokoto and have since been turned to an apostle of the state. Ebonyi is young and developing and definetely need to be in the news to facilitate its development and not for negative reasons. Long live Ebonyi State, long live Nigeria!
Bros, God bless you for this post. My people never let me down. Proudly Okposian. Currently home with four of my friends. They never miss travelling home with me after one experience. We are so grooving this town. I love Okposi! I love Ohaozara! I love Ebonyi.
I pray God gives Ebonyi a young and visionary Governor come 2015.

deletrue: Can you imagine a leader (state governor) callling for stonning! To him that is the most popular way of correcting bad situations. So primitive indeed. These are the leasders some will follow. Just evaluate his suggestion, to stone corrupt puplic office holders. Isn't this the lowest level of reasoning! He is fast infected by the Housa way of life.
My friend, Go and die! Has breeze ever blown anything like metaphor or simile across the roof of any classroom you have sat in your life? Everybody must post something to enrich the thread.

clip: Imagine Ameachi as the President of Nigeria. The man will be brutal but achieve great development.
I draw my conclusion from being the governor of Rivers State. He crushed all opposition. Eg ex Okirika LGA chairman and Obio Akpor.
Development: Massive Road Project,Health Center,Schools etc
Those from afar would not understand. He is a transformation agent.

I love and belong to the world you belong jare. I see some things abroad and ask myself if these our leader really have the led at heart at all? Would somebody die if tax payers' money is used to give them what they can't give to themselves individually? Has everybody in power lost everybody's conscience? Is this oil a blessing or a curse? Why can't we channel our resources rightly and begin to get results? Dam it! We are backward. But I hope that Nigeria will celebrate a good administration one day. It will happen but how it will happen, God knows.
Sagamite: By the way, in your world, you might have such a simplistic thinking that by position someone is an achiever.

In my world, I qualify and use higher level thinking to discern what you did that added value.

There is NO WAY in hell I would give Jonathan credit for the achievement of competent people like Okonjo merely because he appointed them.

In my world, when you want to allocate credit of an outcome to X, you have to prove that if X is removed from the equation, then the outcome you are allocating credit for would realistically not happen.

My world is an intellectual world, not a beer parlour world.

If you remove Jonathan from the equation and put any other average baboon like him, Okonjo-Iweala and Adesina would still most likely give you the same outcomes.

If you remove Okonjo-Iweala and Adesina and replace them with any average baboon while keeping Jonathan as the supervising baboon, you will NOT have those outcomes.

The credit goes to Okonjo-Iweala and Adesina for the economic and agricultural outcomes.

Jonathan is a cretin in power!

A pure person!

Virtually all successes are in spite of him, not because of him.

You can as well tell me the high school teacher that convinced Usain Bolt to focus on athletics is responsible for his world record.
PoliticsRe: President Jonathan Is Our Mandela ~ Doyin Okupe (on AIT) December 6, 2013 by onyibajoe(m): 5:13pm On Dec 09, 2013
Proxytalk: Please let me clarify something here Okupe didnt say Jonathan is like mandela of south africa. But he is our own mandela here. It shows that in nigerian history no leader was closer to the ideals of mandela than GEJ. It shows how abysmal the perfomance of our past leaders has been. WHERE NO WHITE COLOR EXISTED, MILK COLOR CAN BE CONSIDERED
When I read your first comment on this, I saw a positive personality(one who does not crucify/criticise) in you believing that Nigeria will get there one day. But with this very one, you lost it all man. You have shown which side you belong. I'm not sure you are in Nigeria. Very sure you watch from the tv or you read a lot of these Nigerian political newspapers being patronised by our polithiefians. Or, I must need a third eye to see what you are seeing. I was very wrong in my 1st judgment of your personality. You are just one of those boys out there.
For your info, life is getting tougher for an average nigerian and getting better for the few polithiefians. Courtesy of this worst admin ever in the history of Nigeria; the military regimes inclusive. Let that stick to that load your neck carries about. Wetin u dey claim self?
