Uhmmmm. . . . what is wrong with this akata want to be? ![]() rotflmao!! What card? Am not interested in blackjack, darling Oyinye
It is so sad to stare ignorance in the presence. Just a pure shame. tonto. |
StephenP:LMAO!!! Tell this to all the baby mamas in the world. Talking bout, (project chic accent)"Mayne gurl, you know that boy right thurr? You know LaShawndon? Yeah, babyboy sex me so good, damn we was making music. Now Im carrying his baby. It was worth it." Queenisha:Oka now what? Im lost on this. |
Oyinye, oh plzzz, yes, I think you try to act like you're akata. Thanks for raising your hand before I called you out
Uhmmm. . . . Excuse you? Nwa, don't even draw that card with me. Aint even necessary. And Mrs. Real Nigerian, It is ONYINYE. Yeah get it right, and recognize. Don't get it twisted.@post If you stay with man, Yo ass is stupid. Seriously. First off, you shouldn't be having sex before you say "I do". Second of all, how in the world did you not even consider getting on the pill or using some other way of preventing pregnancy? Third of all, how in the freakn world are you even interested with a man who fix to marry some broad for citizenship? Are you daft? I mean this is a sign from God, to get out now while you still have you sanity and what is left of your dignity. Lucky you aint my kid. . . |
Yes, I should know ![]() Oh sorry. Was she born abroad or in Nigeria. If abroad, she might as well be called akata
Well Queen, i just been stripped of my identity. I guess im no longer Nigerian, but akata. Learn something new about yourself, everyday. |
Queenisha:Nnem, i don't understand. Im seriously scratching my head like "Gini?" I mean what possess someone to continue involving themselves with a man who going to marry another woman for THREE years. What does she plan on doing throughout this time? Is she going to involve herself into adultery? I just don't get it. |
When i saw this in Crash, i was a wee bit upset with Terrence Howard. I was like "Do something". But then he batted those beautiful eyes and i was like "It is alright babe". But on the real, if my husband ever pulled that kind of move on me, May God have mercy. |
Queenisha:Yes. Pack her things, get her belongings, call a taxi, and RUN. Not walk but run. But i must say, how does one even consider allowing their so called fiance marry another woman? What goes on in their head? Cause that sure aint rational. |
Mayne Queen, nnem. . . . you said it all. Everything that could be said, was said. Girl got to wake up. She reminds me of some of these folk and this hurricane. Just living in a dream world. |
I never got "Love letters" but i did get alot of poems written by guys. I keep them in my journal, in its own section. They are really romantic and i don't think i'll ever get rid of them. |
Sky Blue:Why in the world would I even want to contact one of those folk? What am I wanting from them? Assurance, security, better life? Don't think so. Better off taking thing into your own hands. Dreaming for a better Nigeria is just utter stupidity. What is dreaming going to do when folk aint willing to die, fight, sacrifice for it? Look at the Civil Act Movement with akata people. They wasn't looking for a better life for them, but for their descendents. But not ndi Nigeria. Nope, they want the fruits of their labor too. |
Sky Blue:Adios muchacho, I never said that i wanted nigeria to stay the way it is. Am i daft? of course not. Of course i want to see the Real Nigeria, not the the Potential Nigeria. We all can play our part in help changing it, but what unu niile want is, instant gratification. |
Kobojunkie:You might as well get that mindset of not seeing the Nigeria of your dreams, cuz you aint. |
idupaul:Biko, can you hop off already, dang. Sky Blue:Keep on dreaming nwannem. Nigeria is home to the potential and the greedy. We have potential, but we greedy as hell. WE as in all of us. |
idupaul:Imecha onu, kita. |
Kobojunkie:Nwannem, you betta get used to it cause the Nigeria you see now, will continue to stay that way until generations afterwards. |
Kobojunkie:The disease will continue to spread until our grandchildren find a vaccine. |
@onyinye Good luck to you!! you can hope all you want but we shal see on payday.I am glad you know we have the hottest cheerleaders what have yall got? Got to go watch some more PTI
Texans will prevail so you betta watch out. You might see me at the Super Bowl partying. |
Kobojunkie:At least in the States, you got folk ready and willing to go out and help their fellow mortals. Tell me how many organizations do you know in Naija do anything to help THEIR OWN people, then talk about helping others outside. We are greedy and we know it. We might deny it, but we know it is true. |
Kobojunkie:What a dreamer. We are talking about Nigeria here, not some other foreign country. People aint gonna do nothing unless they get something out of it. They don't want to do something that is only going to make life for the future generations to enjoy. They want to enjoy it too. Just look at Zimbabwe for crying out loud. |
Kobojunkie:Well you might as well keep on getting used to it cause it gonna be while before yal see Mount Zion. |
I am sure i will see it, but still if i never see it, at least my children's kids will see it and i will be dancing in heaven, that i contributed to it.
Contribute my foot. Just keep on keeping on cause it is going to be a LONG time before any of this praying and wishing even comes into perspective. |
davidylan:Dang David, always gotta be calling a sistah out? Jeez. . . |
And to you, nigeria is yet to hit the rock bottom. A nation where everyone now want to do a voodoo to make money A nation where Yahoo (419) song is all the vogue A natino where people can't even afford to eat A nation where no affordable anything anymore? If this isnt rock bottom, then, i will hate to see what rock bottom looks like. PPle now packs themselves like sardine inside ships to their own death, because minimum 15% of people that are trying to run out of the nation are dead on the sea to europe. A nation where a husband is driving his own wife to a man's house all because of money.
Nigeria hasn't even yet to see rock bottom. The mindset of folk is still deceived where folk over here ranting and raging how advanced Nigeria has become. When they know good and well only certain places even know what advanced is. If you actually think you will see the day when Nigeria is a developed country, you must be drunk or high. |
Uche2nna:Hmmm. . . . never thought of it this way. davidylan:No it aint. |
No matter how long we have to go, till we start the journey, we will always have a longer way to go, because according to how things have been, we are even yet to start the journey, so how and when do we start the journey or are we ever going to start? if all the country we are all running to never start to do something when they were like how we are now in Nijah, they would never be where they are today, if the youths of then never see a reason why they need to embrace their country, because that is all they have got, they wont have a place to call home.
Rhino, Listen to me. And Listen to me good. You are dreaming. Nigeria has a LONG way before they can ever remotely consider starting a journey towards anywhere. Nigeria needs to hit ROCK BOTTOM before it can rise to the top. I'm talking about where we are now, im talking about ROCK BOTTOM. |
sistawoman:I hope the "you" was pertaining toward muah. Shoot i don't get drunk. Not in the times we live in. . . |
LadyT:Unless baby girl was drunk as hell. |
Kobojunkie:Look all these countries folk praying for Nigeria to be like. All those DEVELOPED countries. Most have been truckin' steady for more than Nigeria has been independent. So all this praying, wishing, begging, and bellowing means nothing. Nigeria has a LONG way to go. We will not enjoy its richest but the generations that follow might. |
have you been to Ghana before? what is the revenue of Ghana Yet they are almost more developed than Nigeria, better companies are moviing there for buz and with the Oil discovery, Ghana will be giant of africa soon, yet their population is nothing compared to ours. How old is Ghana.
If you want to play the age game, go right ahead. It doesnt matter what Ghana has. It will soon fall into the hands of the Chinese and Indians. So whatever. What it has, is also what it lacks. That is tactics. They are just infants compared to other developed countries so I aint even worried about them. Give them a few years to ruin it for themselves and watch wahala start. |
Whatever You forgot to add the Cowboys!! You guys are not playoff quality
Hey the Texas got some potential this year oka. So i have some high expectations for them. Cowboys keh? They alright, i mean they got a lil something something goin on. But when was the last time they won something? It has been a LONG while. The only thing of glory to them, is they cheerleaders. And even that is slacking. |
Nigeria is just in its infancy compared to other Developed countries. So i have no hopes for change anytime soon. Maybe 50 years+ from now, but anytime soon is fantasy wishing. |
