I remember my freshman year. Mayne i was so happy to be away from my strict parents and finally have a bit of freedom. . . . and i took chunk out of it. I was partying and there is nothing better than college athlete men. OH MY GAWD!!! i was in like freakn heaven. They are just gorgeous and delicious.Esp. those track and football players. Yum! Yum! Yum! Luckly i went to school with my bff and he got me back on track.E

Or the best for them. . . . they want to be "taking cared of" when they are old so they push guide their children into professions that will make that happen. I remember my friend told her mom she wanted to become a teacher (mind you she was just playing). Her mom looked at her as if she had lost her mind and was like(in nigerian accent) "Are you mad".

Abi o it is the truth. Ask any Nigerian kid living there and i bet you a million dollars. . . . they all fall into that category. The only exception is if they are professional athletes. I for one. . . . fell into the status quo and studying to become a doctor.

Koffee. . . . you are lucky. In the States, Nigerian parents only give their kids three options in life. Which are:

Something in the medical field
Lawyer/Attorney
Engineer

Yeah if you live the USA and you is black you go by the rule of "Black folk don't swim." I promise you ask any black person be it: AA or African, they will say the exact same thing.
