KejiA: Hello everyone, I have been a silent reader. I just got my ppr today. My application was a very funny one, I submitted in January this year and I had no request letter neither did my eligibility review change until I got my passport request today. I was worried and had so much anxiety everytime that I had to stop coming on here because it felt overwhelming for me. My timeline goes like this: Submitted - January 27th Confirmation- January 28th Biometrics- January 28th Upfront medicals- March 9th Medicals updated to pass- March 15th Bvl and passport request - April 27th Ps : Today makes it exactly 3 months I submitted my application. To everyone still hoping for a good news and waiting for ppr I pray you receive your miracle. Shout out to Ircc cause they have thought me patience on this experience. Congratulations!!! |

Thanks for your response.
The reason I am trying to find an alternative is to avoid complicated documentation process as the money is in a company account and the account name is the company name. Plus due to the COVID there have not been a lot of money movement in the account. There is just about 5M there at the moment but she wants to transfer another 5M from her account to it. Making it 10M. Is it advisable to use the account statement that way? Please wait for the gurus to direct you better, but if the business account is your mums then the business registration should show her name as the sole proprietor and her business name also. She can also transfer from her business account to her personal account since there isn’t much inflow in the business account. Please don’t shy away from uploading documents, even if they send the money to you, you have to explain where the money came from and the person’s source of income |

Thanks for this.
Please saying my parents transferred the money to my account for my schooling in Canada would it raise an eyebrow as the VO might assume the possibility that the money was probably collected from someone else and dumped in my account. Will I need to show a proof of the statement that shows my mum’s company account(source of the fund) where the money is coming from?
Please someone should help me it’s my first time of applying and I don’t really know the best way to go about it. Thanks.
Why not allow your mum sponsor you? I think it will be easier for you that way, however if you want some money in your Acc she can transfer your living expenses of 10k cad to you although it’s not necessary cos it’s an immediate family member sponsoring you. Just my own advise shaa |

Please someone should respond to this If you plan on completing your quarantine with your school or a hotel then you have to pay, if you plan on staying with family or friends then you don’t have to, but you have to prepare to answer questions that might be asked at POE about how you intend to avoid contact with others 1 Like |

CONGRATULATIONS! DannyD12342: Let's somebody shout hallelujah. Indeed what the Almighty God cannot do, does not exist. Out for the blues, BVL and PPR dropped today. I will share the full timeline soon. But now I have a small issue nairaland. In the PPR, they noted my passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada. • Please note that we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date on the passport.
My passport is to expire on the 2nd of March 2022. And my expected stay in August ending 2022. Please what should I do? |

irijuola: Please, has anyone here quarantined in group of two or three since the advent of the 3 days hotel quarantine? The Canadian website says 'Only household should quarantine together' I believe household does not entirely mean family. I and two other nairalanders have booked hotel for our three days hotel stay together in order to save cost. But, to be on the safer side, I'd like to ask for your opinion. Hope we won't run into any problem? According to the last webinar my DLI hosted, they said you can only quarantine together if you are family and landed same time nd flight. Even extended Family doesn’t count, so make your inquiries before ur travel date to avoid disappointment |
