See this one! shocked When Anambra and Imo were making Igbo language compulsory for primary and secondary schools, to the extent that if any student failed Igbo, he was denied promotion to the next class, where were you? It wasn't tribalistic then, ba?

When the same Anambra govt made Igbo a mandatory part of a compulsory General Studies course in its state-owned tertiary institutions at 100-level, it was not tribalistic, right? Now Lagos is doing its own, you are shouting tribalism. Just negodu! angry
Not just primary and secondary but even in their universities. They are pathetic hypocrites. Fuvking develish, big-eyed, two-faced, big-headed, hypocritical and useless animals that will always complain of being victimised all the time.
Pathetic stinking animals that always poke their ugly noses into other people affairs, but will complain when when you reciprocate. This same animals that have been blaming us for their inability to actualize Biafra, the pigs that called us unity beggars are the ones that are refusing to mind their business.
I believe the devil created this things known as ibos.

Just imagine forcing Yoruba on non yoruba children like an islamist extremeist forcing islam on non muslim.

I'm just surprised on how this country was even arranged into separate regions with each having a particular language.... if only ogun state that is very close to lagos is an Igbo state while that of IMO is a Yoruba state....den this level of unitary form of law bills been passed would have been at its minimum level.......interest, opinions, future growth of each region or state will never bring about that one NIGERIA so of us say as a common slogan.....I think we can only be one if all of us should just learn one language... and that should be...URHOBO.......

HEHEHEHE......LAUGHS IN URHOBO

Yes! We are different people and located in different regions. This is why Nigeria can be split easily. We don't share any similarity in anyway. We don't need to deceive ourselves by enforcing one language on other people because we are naturally not united

The motive behind those comments was the highlight the true state of Nigeria's biggest city, instead of living In self denial, how you translated that into a hate speech beats me, I actually have nothing to proof to you.. believe anything you want to believe.

It's your state, do anything you so wish.. I just said what I feel.

so because I don't agree with this bill automatically makes me a Yoruba hater?, wow.. never knew opposing some else's view automatically makes him a hater. Stop the emotional blackmail, I gave my reasons why I don't support the language bill.

Anambra and Lagos are not the same, let's take this example, the Urhobos/isoko hardly migrate east Ward, instead they tend to settle In western states like ondo, ogun and lagos, now laws like this will somehow affect any urhobo indigene seeking admission into any of Lagos state institution, or how do you explain to a young man in warri who wants to Attend LASU but was told he needed a pass Yoruba in waec, someone who hasn't been taught Yoruba all his life, I clearly understand you want your language and culture preserved, but believe me this isn't funny.

And stop trying to turn this into a tribal ish.. I hold nothing against you.
How many Delta residents choose LASU if not Yoruba? Most people that select LASU are people that reside in Lagos or Yoruba people that live in other states. And yes, the language is here to stay. I hope other Yoruba states will follow. You keep trying to justify what Anambra did. There is no difference between them. They both have indigenes

They say they want to leave Nigeria, and that the country is a zoo, but they are crying about something that should not be their business. Now they remember this bill will divide Nigeria more. Is that not what they always wanted? Since they have always wanted the country to split, why then should they be against it since it will expedite the process of spliting it? Me I tire for this people oo.

I clearly understand your point, but my issue with the law is that it was too one sided, stuffs like that should be limited to Primary and secondary, not that students even pass Yoruba without expo anyway.

I believe when making judgement we should at all time reason from different angles. I might be wrong on this, but I don't support the lagos state government on this.

What the law means, before you can school in any of our state institution, you must be able to speak and understand Yoruba, this doesn't sound well for me.
Ogbeni stop saying bullshyte here. You have proven that you are a Yoruba hater through your past comments. Just in case your ignorant mind does not know this, Anambra made ibo language course compulsory for every student that gained admission into their state's higher institutions. Even lf you are studying engineering, you must ibo language as a course. Where were you when they passed the bill? Why did you not castigate them? And here you are telling us that Lagos is cosmopolitan and so should not have implemented it. I consider that statement a pure insult to its indigenes. Nobody asked you to come to Lagos.
Anybody that criticize that bill is a Yoruba hater. And for those pathetic ibo losers, they can keep wailing. If they don't like the bill, let them go back to their useless lands

Music/Radio / Re: BBC News Yoruba Officially Launches. by oodualover: 9:44am On Feb 15, 2018
Throwback:

So what are the Igbos doing about their BBC Igbo service as revealed by the thread opened by an Igbo over the matter? Are they not jumping up and down in ecstasy that they have now caught up with the Hausa over BBC local service they have been wailing about for many years?

Yorubas have a right to celebrate anything they chose to about themselves without any regard to the inconsequential Igbos. Yorubas have an international language spoken by indigenous peoples in 3 West African nations, and spoken widely by Yorubas in diaspora. The sooner you realise that the Yorubas have no regard for anyone in whatever goals they pursue, the better for your peace of envious mind.

Do we easily forget how they wailed daily about Africa Magic Yoruba and then Hausa, with some even implying that the Yoruba's who are holding influential roles at MNET are behind the "marginalization" of Igbos?

You are a tribe of hypocrites and sufferers of all manner of complexes. From persecution to victim to inferiority. You lap it up like an achievement.
You just clearly defined what they are. They are hypocrites! They are a pathethic, jelousy, and envious people. They become insecure when they see others( especially Yoruba people) progress. They suffer from inferiority complex. They idiotic ibo boy made a comment to complain about how Yoruba people beat chest. But in the link you gave him, ibos were also beating their chest and he did not complain.
Very hypocritical tribe

When you think ibo people- an ethnic that have been agitating for a seperate republic will support this law, you might just end up becoming stunned. Hausa people that have always resist any call for disintegrating this country are not even bothered about the effect- whether this might divide the country more, and probably split the country. No! Hausa people are not perturbed. But it is ibos, people that have been proponent of Nigeria balkanization that are dismayed by the bill.
This implies that ibos don't want Nigeria to split. They just pretend they do because they are confused and don't know where they stand or what they want. Hausa people are the ones that should oppose the bill the most.
Ibos have just shown us that they are the unity beggers. Yoruba people are already taking the neccessary steps to be autonomous-regionalism or a seperate Yoruba country

I have said it numerous times that Man u style of playing is poo compared to the other big English teams( excluding Arsenal). Man city has been excellent and will carry the cup this season. They are work as a team. Also, Tottenham and Liverpool have good tactics and attackers. Man u should not bother chasing man city. It will only be a fruitless effort and a pious hope. They should just make sure they are not displaced from the top four

It's not bro. Most of it as presently constituted is Ebiraland, while a smaller chunk is Igala. The name/word does suggest Yoruba influence (bear in mind that kogi languages have shared words and meanings), which isn't unusual in that area due to the inter-cultural exchanges that have occurred between the major ethnicities that makeup that state (Yoruba, Ebira/Igbirra, & Igala) over time.
That is good then. No Yorubaland should be given to those Fulani beasts.
Even though I never liked Dino, I must commend him for defending kogi west side. It is quite amusing the youngest "youth" governor in this country is also the most useless.

This is what you get from one Nigeria.

I am an indigene of the north central and let me tell you, If this action is not reversed instantly and all the fleeing fulani herdsmen from Benue, Taraba with anti grazing laws start settling in Kabba in masses. This may finally be the undoin of Okun people.... because these fulanis will invite their people from Mali, Niger, Chad to settle and graze Okun land en masse, and they may use this as a means to penetrate other parts of yoruba land. Once the fulanis have a base against you, you are in trouble........ Every attack against Benue is launched from fulani strongholds in neighbouring Nasarawa state. Fulanis were all chased out of Bachama land, but they have bases in neighbouring areas and launched their attacks from there. .....Enugu was attacked from fulani base in Kogi.

The Fulani people must be defeated once and for all

Yet they always say we betrayed the south. I always say it that iboes gave their vote to obasanjo in 1999 because they had no choice. The two main candidates running for president were Yoruba. Assuming obasanjo ran against a northerner like Atiku, they wouldn't have given Obasanjo their vote. They are known to lick northerners ass

Voter turnout was higher in the south than in the north. The Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate Moshood Abiola received over 8 million votes, and won in 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory. The National Republican Convention (NRC) candidate Alhaji Bashir Tofa received over 6 million votes and won in 10 states only. Over 14 million people voted. Abiola won in Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Kwara, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Taraba, and Yobe states, and the Federal Capital Territory. Tofa won in Abia, Adamawa, Bauchi, Enugu, Imo, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Niger, Rivers and Sokoto States.

Abiola’s victory was comprehensive as he won almost 60% of the total votes cast. Only in two states (Kebbi and Sokoto) did Abiola fail to obtain at least one-third of the votes. Abiola even defeated Tofa in Tofa’s home state of Kano.
