Yorubas are suited in the south but are politically NORTH...just like Benue is politically north...

Enugu in the SE has border with Benue...it means Enugu could have been north as well...if not...
Forget story jor. Politically North indeed. You talk like SW, SS, and SE converged on discussing unity. We are different people

Lies
Losers! Be blaming Yoruba people na. Don't hold your leaders responsible. Even Northerners give una quite notice, yet you were adamant on leaving their land.
You better accept that Buhari will win his second term, and that Yoruba people will support him, so you won't say we betrayed you. Be prepared so that the election result won't cause consternation among your people like the last one did and made many of you mental and filled with bitterness.
Losers!

I am from the North-central and I fully support this.

Most of we middlebelt christians and liberal muslims too, just like you people from the South-west are equally tired of this govt.

We middlebelters also have many muslim extremists in our midst, just like the southwest. And these muslim extremists prefer to support the core-north against all odds. These muslim extremists are mostly found in Niger state and parts of Kwara & Nasarawa.

You don de fear now. Are you new on NL, not to have noticed that the Oodua people shouted the loudest when python dance was in operation?

Forcing people who want out back, to join unity that never existed is strange.
Ibo man and delusion. Always wanting to blame Yoruba people all the time. Anyways, I was active on Nairaland during the python dance saga and Yorubas did not mock your people. In fact some Yoruba people opened threads to dissuade their people from doing it. The only time we insult una with python dance is when una look for trouble.
Since you love to blame Yorubas all the time, let me tell you that we don't give a fuvk about Biafra. But when will you hold your leaders responsible? How many time have your held your leaders? I guess it is because you never wanted to leave Nigeria, and that Biafra agitation is political motivated. I notice that any ibo that support Biafra loves Jonathan but hate Buhari. I have also notice that they hold rancour/bitterness towards that 2015 election were the ineffectual animal lost.
Nobody is holding you from leaving Nigeria. I am a proponent of Nigeria disintegration, but I will never blame other tribes when some of my people and politicians are against it.
Free Yoruba people alone and learn to hold your leaders responsible

For those who still think Yoruba people give a fvck about southern unity, wait and see the pattern of Yoruba votes next year.
If Yoruba vote for Buhari again,
then
"know that we no want 'southern unity'",
else
"we want am".
But I am certain Buhari will triumph in the west/best side. This will also shut the mouth of the mad man called Fani Kayode.

It shall never be well with you and your entire household. Ogun kill. You shall never do well till eternity. To all Igbo you all should proceed to hell with any Yoruba that beg you to unity with Yoruba. It shall not be well with your entire tribe.
Bro, I tire. Some jobless nitwits have open countless threads because of 'southern unity', and Yoruba people always reprehend and reject the idea.
I just tire I swear. The thing just weak me. People need to stop bringing this topic to Nairaland

I am Afonja as rightly termed by Igbos and I support the need for both Major ethnic group in the South to work together to take our destinies away from these Born to rule Hausa-Fulani. But before any peace pact can be drawn on Nairaland, Igbos most refrain from calling Lagos "a no man's land". We agree all Nigerians have contributed to the Developement of Lagos but it is still our ancestral land that has had huge advantage over any state in Nigeria by virtue of the early Portuguese traders and the British colonialist.

I campaigned in my own little way for Buhari in 2015 as I also campaigned for GEJ in 2011 and now I support the removal of Buhari by the use of our votes.

Igbos must understand that many Yorubas did not vote out GEJ because he favoured Igbos more, we simply voted him out because of how he allowed Corruption to fester in his Govt. So it was never a mistake voting out GEJ and now we must also vote out Buhari in 2019.

The only way we can salvage our destinies away from the Northern Oligarchy is only if these two major tribes to work hand in hand together especially the Yoruba Christians and Liberal Yoruba Muslims.

Even as a Yoruba man I know we have some Extremist Yoruba Muslims who always support the North over their tribes men but these extremist Yorubas are few in Numbers compared to the Yoruba Christians and Liberal Yoruba Muslim.

Yorubas,Igbos,SS minorities and non muslim minorities of the Middle Belt can work together to overturn the core North's dominance.
Bro, pls stop this. Yoruba people don't need alliance with anybody.
Thanks!

The last major attack was in Nimbo/Nsukka...in 2016. There was outrage worldwide like never before. There was more than 16,000 comments in Vanguard and thousands of comments in other social media outlets...Several northern leaders visited the SE to beg the leaders. The same cannot be said on attacked in SW. So where are they killing people in the SE on a daily basis like they do in the SW at the moment?
That was not the last attack. Your people were killed last year and none of Your people did anything about it. In fact, there were stories that your effiminate men were divorcing their wives because they were raped by Fulanis.

Anambra State doesn't have the luxury of benefiting massively from immigration of Nigerians from other states on such a large scale. You're comparing apples to oranges here. If Anambra State was developed by people from across Nigeria, and their resources, on a large scale and still decided to do this then you'd have a point.
Lmao! This is what they call ibotic-akpu logic.

No you are the one with such a complex. You accept that YOUR language is dead and buried.
We do not accept this for Yoruba.
We have a vision that one day our kids will learn calculus and quantum mechanics in Yoruba. That they will write programmes in Yoruba. Yes we will completely replace English why? Because we believe in our selves. It is a profound inferiority complex with paranoid delusions of self reference that would believe this targets anyone.

Let me share something that you do not know.

Not so long (1637)ago a guy called Isaac Newton wrote a profound work called the Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Matematica. He was an English man. He wrote itin Latin.

Why?

English was considered backward. The language of instruction in Europe in those days among the elite was French and Latin.

Where is Latin now? And English?

You will still find Latin in anatomy textbooks maybe.

Our vision is based on how far we believe we can take our language. Your spiteful nature makes you think you are the target .

You have surrendered and acquiesced to the idea that English is superior to your language. We will never do that.
Now Every language has a signature homeland or homelands.

Lagos is a Yoruba homeland with an exciting future in media ,radio, cinema and so on. It is going to be massive.

Be happy for us grin

Their is nothing backward there. If you want to school in Germany, you must study and pass their languge for a year. Even in the USA, Canada, and UK, you must pass english test like TOEFL and IELTS before you can secure admission into their schools. They don't care whether you passed English in WAEC.

Do u know how many Northerners and Yorubas are enjoying free education in Imo State University under Okorocha?

Wat if all of them say we want only Urhobo, Igbo, Bini, Ijaw.

Wat type of country are we living in? Wat is all this?
How many Yoruba people attend university in Nigeria talkless of the desolated east. We have many universities here in the west. Since you guys want the zoo to fall, should you not support it since it will futher divide the zoo?
Confused and hypocritical things
