I beg to differ. The defense was elite yesterday. It was the offense that collapsed because the 3s not falling helped Bulls to protect the paint better and get some crucial blocks. There were a lot of clean looks for the 3 that the number of clings on the rim made some fans to wonder if some teams rig their rims against GSW.

Perhaps what you are referring to is the 3rd quarter collapse defensively but even that was not key because Kerr made good adjustments and forced 8 defensive stops in the 4th quarter which unfortunately were not translated into buckets on the other end. 4 mins to go and Bulls had only 7 points to show for the 4th quarter. That was how good the defense was.

Experience aside, the aging Spurs with their overall slow play would not be able to last a 7 game series against an explosive Cavs who probably won their ECF in 5games .
Pick and roll may take them just as far, but against the Cavs, I think perimeter shots with a big man at the board would be just fine.
Last last, who would be asked to guard James? I can't pick any single player in the rooster who James wouldn't have for toast. Spurs would just be gifting James his 4th ring, the easiest one he would ever win.

LeBron loosing to a Spurs team without a complete team in OT is way better than Warriors loosing to Grizzles without their complete team.

The Spurs beat us in overtime, they didnt beat us hands down like they did to the Warriors 129-100. I know the Warriors fans would say Gasol and Parker played. Gasol was poo on that day, he dropped just 2pts,even parker wasnt that hot either, he dropped only 9pts

if plays are made around a player and he is padding all the offensive stats his PER will be good even if he missed 600+ shots and turned the ball 10 times while at it

Currys PER is down to 23. WBs is up to 30. PER is a function of usage. If a player handles the ball more often than not his PER artificially rises. That's a fact. Why don't we really examine the numbers. 2pt % Russell is in the 40+ % Curry is 54%. 3pt Russell is in the less 30% range while Curry is scraping 40% (despite more attmepts and more shots made). Overall FG RW- 42%, Curry- 46% eFG WB 46% SC- 57%. Curry is not top 40 TOs (turnovers), Russell is turning the ball over 10 times a game only behind Harden. Russell has missed 600+ shots the whole season Curry with his 20 shots per game has not missed that much and is averaging better or just under the PPG when juxtaposed with others who play the same position and take the same number of shots.

Actually, Westbrook flat out murdered Curry in player and media votes. Westbrook had almost thrice of Curry's votes in both categories. That gave him 25% each = 50%

Curry won the fan votes, 1.7m to 1.5m votes I think, not that wide. This gave him 50% and equal with WB. Fan votes was then used to ice the tie. Margin was not used, you win this category, you get your percentage.

Curry will always be loved by the fans, no doubt about it. He has handles that thrills us day and night. However, he's not top rated this season. Everything about him is just down that the guy can't even keep up.
Efficiency, Offensive rating, Steals, FG%, decision making. He has negative +/- in games he shouldn't. The guy is not even in top 30 3Points%, even Eric Gordon schools him in his own department with less attempted. His own fuckïng department.



We all knew Curry would decline a bit probably like Lebron type last season but nope, he went down like the naira to the dollar. Who was it last season that could score 20pts with 10 shots? Now, he takes 20 to score 20. Can't even remember when Curry made 51% of his shots in a game even a blowout. Yes, that bad. Giannis averages less but way more efficient, Durant is having the time of his life but less PPG than his career. We have seen people with 20ppg endlessly not playing well e.g. Harden last season, Wiggins, Love,Lowry this season.

99.9% of NBA fans thought the sacrificial lamb in the Warriors roster will be Klay Thompson. Who would be surprised that the same guy still plays a few notches below last season? Who thought Klay would score 60 points this season? Who thought Klay's offensive rating would still be this high?

Curry is doing fine, agreed but is no where near the hype he is currently more so for a unanimous MVP.

Is Curry is a better player than Westbrook? Most definitely. Has He been better this season? Hell No.
