Yeah and your immature comments confirm the fact that you are an area boy who does not deserve an audience although unfortunately the Nigerian media doesn't realise this.

The late Ocholi was the Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Chris Ngige is the Minister for Labour and Productivity. There's no lacuna there.

You didn't declare the strike when the fuel scarcity was really biting it's now that the queues are gradually disappearing that you decide to wake up from your slumber! God go punish una, you better go and return the money the corrupt politicians paid you guys before you bring curses upon yourselves and your families!
CelebritiesRe: Wizkid Blasts Mr Ejump, 9jaflaver For Reaching To Him For An Interview On Phone by oostin: 3:38pm On Apr 05, 2016
There was a time when the likes of Terry G, Kelly Handsome, 9ice et al were the rave of the moment then along came the likes of Whiz Kid, Davido, Olamide et al and all of sudden no one was listening to the Terry Gs of this world.

The moral of the story is that the career of the average Nigerian artiste is indeed very short and any one with any sense would make the best of it unfortunately whiz kid is not. Davido has his dad's money to fall back on but Whiz kid does not have that luxury. . He had better wake up and smell th coffee

I'm pretty certain that the Babayaros are Igbo though they grew up in Kaduna. It's like saying Mikel is from Plateau State simply because he grew up in Jos.

All I know is that she is diligent and does her work well ; this speaks for her and not necessarily because her father is rich.

Afterall we have a lot of people that have made it in their respective professions as a result of hard work and diligence and not necessarily as a result of connections. smiley

Btw, she is a wife material o lipsrsealed

CelebritiesRe: DJ Cuppy Says Money Isn’t Everything by oostin: 12:06pm On Apr 05, 2016
Yeah right, easy for you to say when you are a billionaire's daughter.

Try trading places with iya Risi who's trying to put her kids through school by selling bole at the roadside at Obalende then you'll understand the power of money. Even the Holy Bible says that money answereth all things.
EducationRe: Akin Alabi Gives Ayodele Daniel N1m Cash Gift by oostin: 12:01pm On Apr 05, 2016
I sincerely can't understand all this dashing of money up and down, let them hold a job down for the guy which he can start immediately after NYSC, put the guy on a salary of N1million per month, pay him upfront of N20million and let him start his life afterall the oil companies do it all the time.

Dashing him money won't help his cause.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Loses 100kg Of Gold Daily To Illegal Miners – Fayemi by oostin: 9:13am On Apr 05, 2016
Ahmed3rdjuly:
I thought i would hear that Government is partnering with a Mining company from Australia, China, South Africa or even Zambia on how to develop mining centers or industries.
I though i would hear that FG has discovered huge deposits of gold, bauxite, kaolin, beryllium etc
I thought i would hear that Ajeokuta steel complex would be up in next 6 months, employ 5000 graduates, produce first steel ingot, supply Innoson with subsidized steel for their vehicle manufacturing plants
I thought i would hear training of Engineers for the take off of a mineral research institutes
I thought i would hear that we have started mining coal as alternate energy source to some of the vandalized gas pipes that is causing energy shortage in the country
But am not surprised at all, its coming from a man that knows nothing of Solid minerals.
We are not just serious as a country. instead of Fayemi talking of expanding or encouraging mining he is looking for way to hinder power local miners from their daily bread so that they can go into robbery and kidnapping ko?

We are watching in 3D
if you restart Ajaokuta who are you going to sell the steel to? Most steel mills in the west have closed down cos they can't compete with the Asian producers, they wouldn't even be able to meet their costs not to talk of making a profit. They can't make a profit by selling to Nigerian industries cos the industries are just not sufficient to meet the demand.

What I expect the Minister to do is to engage the services of qualified companies and consultants to determine exactly how many solid mineral resources we possess and the precise quantity so we know which ones are commercially viable to mine. If we just plunge into mining without proper data we'll certainly get our hands burnt.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Loses 100kg Of Gold Daily To Illegal Miners – Fayemi by oostin: 8:59am On Apr 05, 2016
How do they even come up with these figures, figures are just quoted off-hand without providing the source of the information.

China which is the world's largest producer of gold produces 490 tons of gold per annum which translates to about 490,000kg per year or 1,361kg per day according to data from the US Geological Survey.

If we truly had the amount of solid minerals that we have been led to believe we have the BHP Billitons and Rio tintos of this world would have been flocking to Nigeria no matter how inhospitable the environment is.

They should carry out a proper and detailed study of our solid mineral resources so we know exactly what we have and stop giving Nigerians false hope.

Before we get too excited they said they would make available one match on Saturday to air free of cost. NTA has been doing that for donkey years and I think AIT & ONMAX do
the same.
It won't affect DSTV in any way.

What's the difference if I may ask?
This car was made to compete with the likes of RAV4, CRV et all. A Range Rover is a luxury SUV made to compete with the likes of Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator, Lexus LX series, Mercedes Benz GL class and the likes. There's a world of difference.

There is a world of difference between a secular country and a multireligious country Nigeria is a deeply religious country. If you want secularity try relocating to the United Kingdom where pretty much anything goes.

In a country where people still hold on to negative traditional values it is difficult for people to desire progress even when it hits them in the face.

The issue of bride price has been abolished ib more modern societies but we still uphold such traditions even when it is clear that it demeans the women folk.

We claim that we want to be a developed nation but we are clearly not ready to make the necessary sacrifice that development requires.

1United1:
Let's Do A Simple Calculation..

A Service Of A SAN costs at least 10 Million Naira...

Now Multiply 10M X 66 SANS Hired By Saraki

=660,000,000 Naira Just to Defend Himself...

Yet IPOB Youths Adopted Him As Their Son And Said, He Was Not Corrupt...

No Wonder IPOB Has Been Classified A Terrorist Organization..
haba my guy they said 66 lawyers not 66 SANs, everyone knows that not every lawyer is a Senior Advocate.

Besides the caption is really misleading, anyone with a little knowledge of how the court system works knows that the fact that 66 lawyers appeared in court doesn't mean that they were all hired by Saraki.

He hired 6 SANs and they simply brought all the lawyers in their respective offices to court
PoliticsRe: CCT Trial: Saraki Hires 66-SAN Defence Team by oostin: 6:52pm On Mar 11, 2016
Just because you saw 66 lawyers on the cause list does not mean he hired 66 lawyers. He hired 6 SANs who took their entire offices to the court.

Please stop misinforming the public.

We still have a very very long way to go.
PoliticsRe: Throwback Photos Of Ghanaians Being Deported From Nigeria In 1983 by oostin: 11:52am On Feb 25, 2016
Can't understand why people are mentioning Buhari in their comments. Anyone with the slightest knowledge of Nigerian history knows that Buhari overthrew the Shagari govt in December, 1983.

Our terrible knowledge of the history of our own country is one of our greatest problems.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Dr Sid Remembers Father, Justice Esiri After 3 Years (Photo) by oostin: 7:42pm On Feb 19, 2016
It's amazing that with google and all the other search engines available we have people still spelling names wrongly.

His name was Justus Esiri not Justice Esiri. A quick search would have cured that defect.
