MoNickk: nope...if what she wrote up there is actually true, she just didn't deserve it. she's hurt n frustrated n therefore lashed out. nobody deserves being taken for a ride n being stood up. Being hurt and confused is no reason to use dirty and obscene language. There are better ways to say how upset you are, frankly I don't see the difference between both of them. |

Hope the guy signed a Pre-nuptial Agreement sha. These rich dudes just never learn, the ladies marry them for their money then feign loneliness, file for divorce and request for a huge settlement then they and their lawyers smile to the bank. There at so many examples to learn from, Adnan Kashoggi, Roman Abrahamovic, Donald Trump, Dimitry Ribolovlev et al but they just never learn. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Mbaka, Catholic And Politics: Nigerian Tweets Interesting Facts by oostin: 2:24pm On Feb 01, 2016 |
I'm sincerely trying to understand what this guy is saying.
There is no comparison between Fr. Mbaka and Reverend Father Adasu because Fr. Mbaka never ran for public office.
What has Fr. Mbaka done that Cardinal Okojie, Cardinal Onaiyekan and Bishop Matthew Kukah have not done. They have all made political pronouncements at one time or the other in their respective fights for the cause of the masses.
Why haven't those senior members of the Catholic Church been demoted. We are not kids, Fr. Mbaka was demoted because he was becoming more popular than the Church. A lot of us even wondered if he was still a Catholic priest!
He broke one cardinal principle of any organization and that is that you cannot become more popular than the organization.
The Catholic Church did what any sensible organization should do by demoting Fr. Mbaka but please no one should insult our intelligence by telling us that it was because of politics. |

Oyedepo is a 419 using the stup1dity and gullibility of Nigerians to sell them fake redemption!
Oyedepo may not make any money from people in Finland or Slovakia for example.
Dumb Nigerian's with slave mentality on religion allowed private jet pastors like Oyedepo to flourish! God have mercy on your soul.who are u to judge Bishop Oyedepo? |

Politics › Re: ''The North Is A Poverty Trap'' - Shettima by oostin: 5:15pm On Jan 16, 2016 |
Uniben4sure: The solution is to emancipate the northern youths from mental slavery. Prior to the Presidential election, all of them were sheepishly shouting "sai buhari" as if "sai-ing" buhari will automatically better their lots. Ask them the reason why they supported buhari against Jonathan who was trying hard to change their lives for the better with the establishment of almajiri schools and so on, a majority of them don't even know, while the rest supported buhari for the simple reason that he is a northerner and a Muslim.
Now they expect buhari to throw crumbs of bread to them every morning, while they lazy about looking for underaged girls to inflict with vvf.
The mentality of an average northern youth is very poor! Ask yourself why they have the highest population in the armed forces. It is because of that same lazy mentality which causes them to shy away from taking up more mentally demanding jobs, but prefer the lazy lifestyles of military barracks.
Yes, I know them because I spent 4years of my life doing my 1st degree in the north. I remember that the few northern guys in my class then all looked forward to only one job upon graduation, and that is joining the army! While those of us from the south were planning on how to go for a second degree or a higher degree so as to get better jobs and become more useful to the society and to our families.
To cut it all short, northern leaders should rise up to the challenge of educating their youths and liberating them from the shackles of mental incapacitation. They should be made to start seeing themselves as free-minded individuals who have the key to their own success and do not need any "ranka da de" to fend for them in exchange for being practically worshipped! I love this piece |
