Before your order is finalized, whichever car of your choice you select, comprehensive details on the vehicle will be provided to you, including a video of the car. The car is brand new, not fairly used tokunbo that you have to worry about issues or accident history etc. Now to answer your question again, if you read my previous answer, I stated that you will provide a BANK GUARANTEE (from a top tier bank) that covers the costs for the car you want to buy. So you have not made any payment, only a guarantee of payment from your bank that will ensure that we are paid once your vehicle is confirmed to have arrived at the Grimaldi PTML RORO terminal at the Lagos Port. That is when you will now pay us the money for the car. AND IF YOU FAIL TO PAY, your bank will automatically be mandated to pay on your behalf according to the agreed Bank Guarantee payment terms of delivery. So, in this way, it won't be like a brand new car was shipped to you and then you fail to make payment after the car has arrived. So both parties are protected 100%. Buyer funds is protected and seller is also protected from a default, delay or no show situation. Take note that it is your responsibility to do the customs clearance at the port through any preferred clearing agent of your choice. Immediately the vehicle is confirmed to have arrived and offloaded from the ship into the Lagos port terminal, seller will receive full payment for the car. Hope this satisfies your question. If someone purchase any new vehicle from you and not just toyota, can the person take it to any authourized dealership in Nigeria for free repairs incase the car develops a problem or not?

Maintenance is not 100% automatic means that you will have to pay for your normal servicing and maintenance according to the payment package or fees that the authorized dealership workshop you took it to. Each dealership workshop has their own maintenance charge, that is to say it might be 20 naira in A and 15 naira in B and 30 naira in C. So you decide which authorized dealership workshop you want to use.

As for your second question, for example, if you buy a brand new Toyota Camry, you can take it to any authorized dealership workshop of Toyota Nigeria of your choice. There are about 8 Toyota Nigeria authorized dealership workshops. If you follow your manufacturer service maintenance with any of those authorized workshop, then your warranty will be valid according to Toyota manufacturer warranty for brand new Toyota cars which is stated by Toyota as 36 months/36,000 miles (all components other than normal wear and maintenance items), according to Toyota owner warranty manual. So for example, normal service like oil change let's assume it is 5,000km or so, then you do your service at the authorized dealership workshop here, and pay their charges for the service according to their individual system. So you continue and follow the manufacturer maintenance schedule stated on the manual with the Workshop. So assuming within the warranty period of 36 months or 36K miles (WHICHEVER COMES FIRST), say you have an engine fault that is caused by a mechanical failure, etc, then Toyota Nigeria will assume responsibility for the warranty coverage IF the Toyota authorized dealership workshop that you have been servicing with confirms that INDEED the car suffered a mechanical fault on its own, and not a damage caused by you, or caused by a 3rd party workshop handling your servicing. That's how the warranty system works. So for your warranty coverage to be valid, you MUST service 100% at the authorized dealership workshop ONLY amd follow the maintenance schedule they give you according to the manufacturer service manual. TAKE NOTE also that warranty DOES NOT COVER normal wear and tear associated with vehicle usage. Hope I have been able to satisfy your questions. Feel free to make any further contribution.

Every brand new Toyota vehicle is supported by a 36-month/36,000-mile limited warranty coverage, according to the manufacturer owner's warranty manual that comes with each brand new vehicle etc. But maintenance is not 100% automatic, as per different regions, under different authorized distributors. You will have to approach an authorized dealership workshop here for their own individual maintenance service package. Because to remain eligible for warranty, you MUST do all your servicing and maintenance at an authorized Toyota dealership workshop ONLY, such as Mandilas, Elizade, Germaine, Kojo etc, according to the manufacturer maintenance manual. If you service elsewhere, then your warranty might not be honored by Toyota, visavis Toyota Nigeria.

Step 2, when you place your order. Because these are brand new vehicles direct from source. So payment has to be made before the vehicle is relased from warehouse and shipped. But for issue of trust and transparency, a genuine bank issued Bank[-to-Bank] Guarantee covering the payment can be accepted in lieu of a direct payment. And once verified to be genuine, the vehicle will be shipped and after the vehicle has been confirmed to have arrived at the Lagos Port Terminal by the Shipping Line, then you will make full payment or your bank will effect immediate payment in case of any default or delay on the Buyer's side. This way, all parties are protected and secure. BG will only be acceptable from top tiers banks like Zenith, GTB etc!
