FamilyRe: How To Suprise Wife On Birthday Help Me ! by OperaMini1(m): 8:37am On Mar 07, 2012
Poster,

Thanks for bringing this topic, i've as well gotten new ideas. My wife's b'day is next Monday, and i had planned on surprising her at home after work, but i now know it makes much sense doing it at her workplace,
PoliticsRe: James Ibori: British Government To Keep 95% Of Ibori's Loot: by OperaMini1(m): 2:43pm On Mar 01, 2012
richmind:
I am from Delta state, if the money is returned to the state as proposed, be assured it will be kept for ibori by his boy uduaghan. The so called thief in government performed far better than the present governor, irony.
For me o, they should even keep everything, as returning the money to uduaghan is equivalent to handing back to ibori.
PoliticsRe: I Did Not Plead Guilty –ibori by OperaMini1(m): 2:32pm On Mar 01, 2012
He has come again, He has come again, Ibori he has come again, James he has come again. This was the same way a judge once told us that this was not the James Ibori he convicted. I'd expected Eluemunor to tell us that the ibori that pleaded guilty, was not the one that ruled Delta State for 8 years.
BusinessRe: Petrol Subsidy Probe: FG Removes 98 Importers From 2012 Operations by OperaMini1(m): 2:17pm On Mar 01, 2012
mohid:
names people, names! State the coys that ve been removed and lets know those that are still allowed to import.
Forget this side, as the names are still downloading. Imagine what will happen, when a set of 3 coys out of these importers will pull resources together to put up a refinery, we'll be talking of 14 new refineries. "Imagine the possibility"
Car TalkRe: Nigeria Senate Order Frsc To Stop Issuance Of New Vehicle Licensing by OperaMini1(m): 12:59pm On Mar 01, 2012
It's their resolution about the cost, or the desirability of the scheme? Let's be reminded that the House of Reps, issued same order last year, and we know better today. They should equally have told us what to do, if the FRSC insists on carrying on with this needless change. For instance my DL will expire on the 12th of this March, which of the licences will i obtain at renewal?
EducationRe: Boko Haram Burns 4 Schools by OperaMini1(m): 3:28pm On Feb 29, 2012
I believe their end is in sight. The kidnappers then in Aba, dug their graves the day they hijacked a school bus filled with school pupils. These BH guys have gone to the schools again, i'm awaiting their burials.
EducationRe: Soldgers Clash With Student Of Imt Enugu As The Fees Has Been Increased To 55000 by OperaMini1(m): 3:08pm On Feb 29, 2012

PoliticsRe: Why This Fuel Scarcity? by OperaMini1(m): 6:55pm On Feb 23, 2012
What answers do we even expect from these people that were summoned? Is it not the same group of people that up to today cannot give us the exact quantity of fuel they import daily. It's time we start expecting less from these guys.
PoliticsRe: Ig Of Police's Directive On Stopping Of Road Blocks,my Personal Experience! by OperaMini1(m): 3:22pm On Feb 17, 2012
I hope this will not be like the directives that had been issued by previous IGPs, and was not respected by the same police. I came from Aba to Owerri this morning and surprisingly, no single Policeman was on that long stretch of road. I dey wait.
PoliticsRe: Governor Has Shown His Determination To Give Abia An Entirely New Face. by OperaMini1(m): 6:35pm On Feb 16, 2012
This is sycophancy at its peak. I've not seen a focusless, missionless and visionless govt. like this. Those of us that live in Aba are even surprised to read this thread. I would advise that the moderators should delete this thread as it insults our senses. It'll soon be rainy season, then we can behold Aba at its best. I blame Abia people that brought that guy back to the govt. house.
CultureRe: Igbos, Will You Marry An Osu? by OperaMini1(m): 5:37pm On Feb 15, 2012
I'm surprised than in 2012, some people are still behaving as if they're living in the stone age. They still discriminate against OSU and OHU people. let me know from Igbos on here: Can you marry an OSU?[/b]

Afam,

You that even brought this post, are you not behaving like same people? Tell me, how do you identify an Osu?
PoliticsNcc Budgets To Spend N75m To Change Toilet Doors And Keys In 2012. by OperaMini1(op): 12:59pm On Feb 13, 2012
The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) will be spending N75 million this year to replace old toilet doors, locks, repainting of fading walls and provision of directional sign posts to the Commission’s waiting room and canteen.  This was even compounded by the fact that the budget was proposed after an allocation of N28 million was made for the same purpose in the budget of last year. Plus, in the 2011 budget, the Commission had proposed N60 million for automation and changing of all access doors of its head office building in Abuja.

PoliticsRe: What Do You Think Is The Problem(s) With Nigeria. by OperaMini1(op): 9:28am On Feb 07, 2012
Let me kickstart by saying that the only known problem with Nigeria is Greed. It's greed that will lead to corruption, it's greed that leads to armed robbery, it's greed that leads to contract inflation and over-invoicing. It's greed that gives rise to bad governance, and its attendant bad followership.
PoliticsWhat Do You Think Is The Problem(s) With Nigeria. by OperaMini1(op): 9:19am On Feb 07, 2012
For a long time now, i've being trying to get answers to this question, and i guess this will be the best forum to deal with the issue of 'What is the problem(s) with Nigeria'. Kindly contribute, thanks.
PoliticsRe: Where Are Jonathan's 1600 Buses? by OperaMini1(m): 7:58am On Feb 02, 2012
Another 419. They must have returned the buses to the transport coys (ABC & Co) that imported them in the first instance. Whoever expected to see those buses on our roads, i still dey laugh the person.
BusinessRe: FG To Publish Names Of Fuel Subsidy Beneficiaries - NaijaPundit by OperaMini1(m): 7:57am On Nov 18, 2011
yet another list on names to be published in Nigeria. Our govt. promised to publish the names of Those Okija shrine adherents, names of those that sponsored the post election violence, names of the those sponsoring terrorism, and now this. Very laughable indeed.
TravelRe: Owerri, Imo State In Pictures by OperaMini1(m): 5:50pm On Oct 11, 2011
i don't know why we thrive so much in falsehood. The last picture in the series, is a prototype design of the bridge Ohakim intended to build along Okigwe road. The only sign of this being some few pillars already erected before he lost power. Mr. poster, i don't know in which part of Owerri you live in, but you'd have done well to show the world the flood prone areas of Amakohia, Ikenegbu and Aladinma, the impassable IMSU/Civil defence area, etc. It's like you even forgot to tell the readers that Owerri is shot down with the least rainfall, as the town is averse to drainages. You should go and learn how to do this propaganda thing well.
PoliticsRe: Senate Begins The Probe Of Nitel & Nipost by OperaMini1(m): 7:50am On Sep 30, 2011
I hope David Mark will subject himself to be questioned by this (business as usual) panel, afterall was he not the former Communications Minister that told us that telephone was not meant for the poor.
LiteratureRe: Why Do Most Nigerians Fail To Pronounce These Words Correctly? by OperaMini1(m): 7:59am On Sep 28, 2011

PoliticsRe: Invalid by OperaMini1(m): 7:51am On Sep 26, 2011
If it was when Dora was still their Minister of Information, i swear you'd have have been exported to Afghanistan, for disbranding Nigeria. Anyway the composition isn't bad. Any plans of sending it to David Mark's NASS?
PoliticsRe: 40000 Mw Electricity In Imo State. by OperaMini1(m): 8:36pm On Sep 10, 2011
I think he meant 2 say 40000 MW of darkness, cos in the Aladinma area of Owerri where i live, it's been months of darkness since April 2011.
PoliticsRe: We Now Know Boko Haram's Sponsors – GEJ by OperaMini1(m): 6:18am On Sep 03, 2011
I think this guy should change his name from Goodluck to Promise Jonathan. He's surely become a master of promises.
Car TalkRe: Ever Had Your Vehicle Stolen, Or Broken Into? by OperaMini1(m): 5:57pm On Jul 15, 2011
In 2005, i went to the Enugu Int'l Trade Fair with some friends, driving in my 86' Honda Accord. By the time i came out, i was tipsy because we were at the Guinness stand and they were doing a promo of 'buy 1 get one free'. What i met there made all the drinks i took clear out, one of my door glasses was broken, my car CD gone, my bag gone with my books and the MBA form form I just filled, waiting to submit on Monday. A guy brought the form to my office about a week later, claiming he picked it beside a stream close to that Ebeano Tunnel, though i was not in the office when he came.
PhonesRe: Ever Sent A Dirty Sms To The Wrong Person? What Happened Thereafter ? by OperaMini1(m): 5:30pm On Jul 15, 2011
No i've not, but i received a text meant for anoda guy on a Val day. I had to call the babe, because i was speaking to my woman when the text came in. She apologised for the embarrassment, though i advised her to still send the text to the rightful owner, as he'd be waiting for it. Lo and behold, the same text came in again to my phone. I begin chaik the babe from there, and had to meet her eventually met her after some months, though i never discussed the issue of that text with her again.
PoliticsRe: Jtf Accuses Borno Elders Of Backing Boko Haram by OperaMini1(m): 5:22pm On Jul 15, 2011
He who brings home insect infested firewood, must have lizards as visitors. The elders have not seen nothing yet. It's the silence they kept in the face of evil that's coming back to haunt them.
PoliticsRe: Poor Services: Reps To Probe Telecommunications Companies by OperaMini1(m): 5:12pm On Jul 15, 2011
Quote from: koruji on Today at 03:41:43 AM
Probe my bottom. Anybody that allows himself to be decieved by this was either not here for the last Assembly or has a short memory.

The question we need to ask is what happened to all the previous probes our impotent NA has ever conducted.

I'll tell you:
1. They constitute a probe committee whose job is to collect travel allowances travelling all over the country looking at things they know absolutely zero about.
2. They start soliciting and receiving bribes from the affected companies.
3. Zero report, nobody gets punished.
4. If we are lucky the EFCC will start an endless case of corruption against members of the probe panel - 4 years hence, while they enjoy their carefu orchestrated looting.

Remember you heard it here first - it is a prophecy.

Na today? It seems this is now a tradition for this NASS people. Every Assembly probes Telecomms coys and nothing comes out of it. This shows that they have nothing to do over there. That's why i believe this job should be part time.
PoliticsRe: See Boko Haram's Website by OperaMini1(m): 10:19am On Jul 14, 2011
Is this not funny, as the same people who claim that Western Education is a taboo, now have a website. They have mobile phones, and use IEDs made from knowledge that was gotten from western education. I suggest they should apply to CAC for a change of name to maybe "if not western education".
