And Arthur Eze is one of the SouthEast leaders abi? |
I once barged into the female rest room, at Sharon Ultimate Hotel, Abuja. It was as if my bladder would burst, so i didn't have the time to look at the tag on the door. I was so embarrassed on seeing 2 girls who were inside there only on their pants, that i had to rush out even before offering any apology. |
This govt. have repeatedly told us that Boko Haram is a faceless group. Now, who are they going to negotiate with, the same faceless group? |
This particular ransom dead have turned out to be a huge joke. But seriously, why would a VC need police escorts and siren? |
These guys will arm a nuke, sooner than later. It's steadily moving towards that direction. |
I think we'd be more concerned about what happens to these guys after this picture parade. Kabiru Sokoto and others comes to mind here, as we've not heard about them being prosecuted or even still been investigated since after their own TV parade. |
Please are these suspects the same the SSS paraded on television last night, and which their spokeswoman said was an armed robbery operation that went bad? I equally remember her saying that they'll be handed over to the police for prosecution. But if they are not, then will the police be prosecuting 2 sets of suspects for same crime? |
Mandelaguy: And I passed through that same road that same road twice in 3 days between, yes the road is bad,but you will not deny the fact that on the left side if you are coming to Umuahia, that road construction has started, also coming from port harcourt on the left side is massively undergoing construction, which is what Dedeike was pointing out.And you could swear that you saw on site, the contractor(s) doing these 'massive constructions'? |
"In roads, Zaria-Funtua-Gusau roads, Oshodi-Apapa with expansion and drainage works, dedicated bridge frm liverpool roundabout to Tin can ports, trailer park, Dualisation of Ibadan -Ilorin, rehabilitation of ENUGU-Onitsha, completion of OWERRI -Onitsha, 9th mile, ongoing reconstruction of Benin-Ore-Sagamu highway measuring over 265 km, Kano-Maidugri Dualisation. Keffi -Akwanga-Lafia, award of Afikpo-Okigwe, Auchi-Okene being handled by Setraco. Loko-Eweta-Karishi bridge, Kolo-Nembe -Brass to mention but a few". I think this is the most wicked lie anybody could tell. a). Why are you talking about Owerri-Onitsha Road completion here? If not for incompetence, CCC should have left that road since 2009, when Julius Berger their partner that did the Imo state portion of the road vacated the site after completing their job. Should i remind you that it was Obasanjo that awarded that contract. b). 9th mile, i guess it's the one in Enugu state. Be informed that my hometown is barely 5 minutes from that 9th mile, so i still wonder what 'massive construction' is going on there, as i was there on sunday (3 days ago). 3). rehabilitation of ENUGU-Onitsha, please Nigerians, that road is a mockery of anything rehabilitation, a dual carriage way had been turned to a one-lane road, which is nothing short of a death trap. From Upper Iweka in Onitsha to Nkpor, to Ogbunike old toll gate, down to Amansea in Awka, you'll feel sorry for these bunch of liars. |
It has started. My expectation that the EFCC will bungle this case as usual, is coming true so soon. |
God, this govt. loves committees. What eventually will these new set of committees be doing? |
I expect that the EFCC will bungle the case as usual, and the judge will be left with no other option but to discharge them. |
So what this means is that no structures have been put on ground, since the noise on IMSU relocation began. This man have become notorious for abandoning projects and programmes, the list of which includes: Community/4th tier govt., erection of street gates, majority of the township roads, paying stipends to school children, 25-storey hotel at Umuguma, and now IMSU relocation. By the time this guy is through with fooling us around in Imo state, Ohakim will surely become a super hero. |
Please guys, I drive a '97 Bulldog, which i got in Nov. 2011. I observed that the fuel consumption of that car is on the high side. I've taken it to various mechanics, all to no avail. My mechanic worked on it again last week as i was to travel to Benin with it. I bought a full tank of 65 litres on Friday, and it took me for a total of 305kms (The longest distance a full tank had taken me) from Owerri to Benin and back to Owerri, before it entered reserve. Someone should please advise me on what else to do about this, thanks. |
You guys shld plz nt allow d BANDWAGON effect to mk u unable to think critically wen confrontd wit an opinion(any opinion)...there is NO govt in d world dat would directly implement a report 4rm an 'external' committee(ie one made up of membas dat re nt part of dat govt like d Belgore committee).a smaller 'internal' committee of relevant persons WITHIN d govt must look tru d report nd produce a final one dat is in line wit d policies of dat govt.dis is d conventn all ova d world nd in previous 9jeria's govts....i tink dis govt is bn unnecessarily criticizd at times by ppl dat might nt b helpful.bliv me,dis is nt d best way to get smtin done cos u run d risk of pushin away undecided ppl once those distortns re pointd out to So when will d report ever be final? Does your mind not tell you that there may still be another committee to review the work of this last committee. I believe this is all a time-buying gimmick. dem
|
Whatever figure she comes out with, is still okay for the whole nation, compared with what those 469 'Rogues and Criminals' consume. |
slimyem: this question is a no-brainer.....No need to add to this. |
@ Charlsecy4. Guy this is awesome. I hope u know d Bible this much. |
It's unfortunate that NL have become a forum for all sorts of rubbish posts. I'm surprised that the op who said he's married, is comparing a wife with a car. |
Rochas and noise making. If i remember correctly, one of those universities, which he said will be sighted at Ngor-Okpala is owned by the Jesuits (an Int'l Catholic outfit). so why would the Jesuits need his 400 million? |
Let's not clap at this, as it isn't d first time they'll make a pronouncement and it'll stand. We were all alive when d senate fixed a price 4 Plate no. and DL, still nobody has got them at dt price. There was even no timeline on commencement of d new policy. |
My mum who didn't go to school told me she was always coming 1st in class, and had to beat me up mercilessly one particular term i failed (in her own words) by coming 2nd in d class. |
Pls has anyone bought the new plate no. since after the review? I'd it'll never be at that approved fee of N8400. |
He doesn't need to be sad at all, after all we only have 12 days to the end of these boko Haram bombings, that is if the bombing doesn't end us by then.
|
E be like say u still want use d bike for that price wey you put am. If i add small money to it, I'll get a brand new Kia. Imagine what my wife will do to me if i come back to the house wit ur bike, bought at that amount. |
This is one of d reasons why d world will never take us serious. The senate fixed a price for DL, and nobody could attest to having gotten it at that price. Only God knows how much we'll pay for the plate numbers. |
Pls what will be d sharing formula? What even happened to the Police Equipment Fund? |
I drew my wife's attention to dt ads on Sunday night. While it seems insulting, it only chorused d truth that we only live for today, dt we're less concerned about whatever the rest of the world is doing. |
greatlee: secondedPlease what is the criteria for bringing topices to the front page? |
I remember when Tambuwal told his colleagues when they were about to discuss the report, that this people are very powerful, and that they'll fight back and fight dirty at that; so maybe it's coming to pass. Maybe Adoke and Co had cooked up this script so as to put a final nail to this coffin that he had described as a 'mere fact-finding mission'. Why was Otedola bringing up this issue now, more than a month after the report was adopted? I see the hand of Esau in all this. |
The problem with Nigeria is greed, greed and greed. So if you're a citizen and you're greedy, then you're the problem with Nigeria; if you're govt. and you're greedy, you're a Nigeria's problem. |
A good move sha, but how does Britain recoup all these investment cos the last time i checked, Malawi was not an oil producing nation? |
