You should post the refusal letter if you still have it.

seunt4ut:
Hello House,I would like your help on how to go about my application this time around.
My 2 years application was refused early last year on the ground that my financial claim cannot be ascertain and the Visa officer was not satisfied. In my 6 months visa application I was working in a company with monthly earnings of 185k also own a company that I run partially and was declared and the company documents were attached so in my 6months application My purpose of visit was to attend a conference program which I did. However, my 2yrs application that got refused was on tourism visit and my employment status changed which I stated in my remarks that I’m no longer working in Bleep company that I’m now focusing on my own company full time and earning 205k monthly from my business. I included my bank statement with some of 2m Naira balance and tax receipt and 2m Naira fixed deposit Certificate copy and a cover letter saying that I did not have enough time to tour around and shop in my previous visit due to the task I went for that my motive of visiting this time around is to sightseeing and shop for my upcoming wedding. The most shocking part is that The refusal came with no option for appeal. Please house where did I go wrong and what measure should I take in my next application

An open source independent verification is one where a third party carries out the business/employment verification for them. Does this business exist? Did your friend submit payslips or any documents from the company?

Thanks for your response. The business account shows the debit of the 950,000 into my salary account every 26th of each month. Also, 22k is the yearly income, I dont know if it was mistaken for my monthly income because from the form I filled, the question was “how much do you earn from this job in a year” in which i answered 23,979

Also, I don’t spend money for personal use from the business account. Its strictly for business. All my spending comes from my salary account.
I really wish to to reapply but I need advice on what to add or remove. God bless

Noted, i guess we'd have to wait on the experts as i'd love to learn myself.

Hi gurus.

I have been a silent reader and got all the information I needed to apply for my UK visa and I was confident enough to apply.

I got refused a visitors visa. I plan to attend london motor show and do some sightseeing as Im into importations of cars and sales with a monthly income N950,000 ( I import cars from US)

I submitted both salary and company account statement. Salary account - 5M, company’s about 10M
Bank reference letter for both accounts.
Cars bill of lading about 17 copies
Cars purchase receipt from US car auction, about 10 copies
Company Car sales receipt
Company Tax clearance and receipts as I
have not received last year tax clearance
Personal tax clearance
Company CAC documents( I’m the highest shareholder)
Approved Building plan and survey
Family pictures
AxaMansard insurance statement of 250,000 monthly savings for over 2 years and reference letter with about 7M current balance
My Daughter birthday certificate
Marriage certificate
Intro letter from company
Cover letter explaining my purpose of visit, budget, and I explained my business
Tenancy agreement
Dealer license and plate number
Paid Hotel reservations
London motor show tickets

Travel history:-
France
South africa
UAE
Tanzania
Kenya
Turkey

I have a previous US denial and i stated it.

Please gurus, help me review this letter as I’m confused. Did I submit too much documents?
Help a brother. Travel date is still May.
Thanks and God bless

First. I think one of you made a mistake with the figures. 950k a month is £2,034 while the ECO stated £22k+ a month. There's a discrepancy with that figure. Also, it seems your claimed salary does not reflect on either of your statements. I think it would have flied if you had stated you pay yourself from the profit earned. I know how the business thing works and i might be wrong but its safe to guess you TAKE/SPEND MONEY OUT OF EITHER ACCOUNTS WHEN YOU NEED TO or DO YOU PAY YOURSELF THIS FIGURE EVERY MONTH? I'm not a pro and Justwise would have a better advise to give but the best thing would be to reapply. Your application is solid coupled with a good traveling history, the only thing that has to be figured out is the finances.

One last one, can i apply for the South Africa visa from Mauritius, i'm hoping it wouldn't take that long there and i can just go with all the docs from here, would that be possible? There embassy there says 5 working days.

I have the same issue here. I will be travelling soon and I have 15hr layover with euthopia Airline but I called and discussed a Possible transit Visa. You should call the airline and the Embassy to seek for their Opinion

You can enter Ethiopia without a Visa. Is the airline offering you an hotel? They did when i used them a couple years ago and i didn't require a Visa.

If you don't have a transit visa, you'll b chilling at OR tambo airport for the 19 hours. However since you r flying business class, SAA might just arrange something comfy for you if you discuss with them ahead of time. Not sure you can talk your way through.

There's a transit hotel, so staying at the airport isn't the issue. I read transit Visa isn't required if you'd be staying at the airside. I have mailed both embassies in Nigeria though. If only they had the priority service. Applying for a visa now is not feasible.

hi everyone, has anyone here ever talked their way through South Africa immigration without a visa? I know its unrelated to the post but i haven't been able to find anything helpful on this. Traveling to Mauritius, feb 12 with my gf, South African Airlines Business class, there's a 19 hrs stop over on the way back and it would be too long to spend in the transit hotel. Its too late to apply for a visa because it takes forever to receive a decision. Has anyone ever been lucky to talk their way into being allowed into the country for a couple hours? I have visited the country in the past 2013 and i didn't violate their visa terms. Thanks

I recommend you try posting this on a South Africa thread. Your chances of getting an appropriate answer is higher there than here.

Here is a link to an SA thread: https://www.nairaland.com/944102/general-south-africa-visa-enquiries

thanks

First off, I thank the OP for creating this thread. I need to ask how to get to Bahamas without a transit Visa. I just applied for 3 months Visa and I need all the route information before I’m issued. Thanks.

Please, did you apply from Nigeria and where? British Embassy Call guys here said they don't accept Bahamas Visa Applications. I'd be glad to hear from you soon. Thanks
