Travel / Bahamas Visa Application by Opeyemi007: 1:25am On Jan 16, 2019 |
Hi. Thanks for checking this out. I have been having issues finding the right information online. Where do i submit a Bahamas Application in Nigeria since there's no embassy? The information online says British High Commission but calls made to both centres in Nigeria says otherwise. The operators said they don't accept/work on Bahamas Visas. Help anyone. |

@Justwise, I know this is quite unrelated but do you have an idea where i could submit a Bahamas visa application in Nigeria? I've read online that the British High Commission accepts Visa Applications on their behalf but both (BHC centres) said they don't accept applications for the said country when i called them this afternoon. Anyone Help Please. |

Fekeri: I think they want you to report at the embassy on the stated date when you're back. |

Jesse777: I understand wetin you dey talk but it'd be difficult to bribe her cos she probably has a written contract with the embassy. Also, Waec should be the last thing anyone should fake. Haba |

Pesuzok: Understood but like I said. I'd still end up in the UK someday, so I'm thinking about visiting France and other bordering countries. 1 Like |

So i had my interview at the Abuja Embassy Yesterday, Didn't happen the way i wanted but here's my transcript. Its the second time i'd be denied. The first was in July 2016 while the second time was yesterday. I'm in my finals studying computer science in one of the private universities in Nigeria. VO- Good morning how are you? Me- Morning, I'm a bit nervous but i'm fine. VO- Smiled, Its OK. What High School Did You Go? Me- I figured the one i filled in my DS-160 was different from the previous one, So i explained i wrote WAEC in one school and NECO in another. Vo- What university do you go? Me- *************** VO- Have you ever travelled out of the country? Me: Yes. VO- Where? ME: South Africa(2013) and Dubai(2014) with my family, Seychelles(JULY 2017) alone. VO- What were you doing in Seychelles Alone? Me- I was seeing the beaches and island hopping since it was a week after my birthday. VO- What does your father do? ME- I stuttered, He owns a construction and general consulting business and i work for him whenever i have the chance. VO- Is he here today? Me- No. VO- How many children does your father have? Me- 4( 2 boys and 2 girls) My brother schools in the UK and my Sister got married in June. VO- I'm sorry but i'll have to agree to my colleagues earlier decision, You can try again when you have stronger TIES. Me- Thank You. I was really pained for a few minutes but the fact that i actually wanted to go flex made me get over it. No question was asked about my course or anything. Sometimes i wish they could use a Polygraph at the interview. I thought my school was a good tie cos i don't understand why i'd abandon something i've been doing for the past 3 years to abscond. I'm scheduled to graduate next year. I'm considering the UK/ Schengen but i actually don't want to go to the UK right now because i might have to go there for my masters. Thanks to everyone that has contributed to this Trend. God bless you. 6 Likes |

My interview is in a few days in abuja. I've read all the posts from 1-3. Adrenaline won't let me sleep. Who's in abuja this week? Maybe we could have a drink or something. 1 Like |

[quote author=sherilycious post=61480766] Ma'am i'm not a VO but i've seen this a few times. There's nothing wrong with your application. You can proceed and if you've ever visited anywhere go with the passport that contains the VISA(s). The VO might have something to add, You should wait to hear more from them. |

Hello Niv. How are you doing today? I trust you're having a great Sunday. When i was filling my DS-160, There was a Column to explain if you've ever been refused a visa/entry into the USA. I have been refused a b1/b2 category Visa on July 14, 2016. While i was explaining the reason i think i was denied, I forgot to write the Year it happened. I only wrote the Day/Month. I found out after i booked my appointment. I have a scheduled interview this month at the abuja consulate, Could this be an issue or the interviewer would know the exact time/year i was refused? I wouldn't want them to think i'm coming in for the second time in 1 year. I'd be glad to hear back from you Sir/Ma. Thanks |

Good morning everyone. Please, I wrote the wrong place of birth and i found out after my application was submitted and appointment scheduled. Is it important to cancel the scheduled appointment and fill a new DS 160 or i can just go ahead with the interview? |

Hi Nairalanders. Good afternoon. Please, is it ideal to Glue an OLD passport To A new one or it wouldn't be accepted when presented at any embassy? 1 Like |
