PoliticsRe: It’s Only In Nigeria We Arrest Before We Investigate, Says NBA Secretary by Opharhe: 5:06pm On Oct 11, 2016
Hmmmm. I quite agree. This is one of the major reasons the Anti-corruption agencies don't record much success. Thorough investigations are very important and pivotal in the fight against corruption.

Loosen up the federation.
Nigeria must practice federalism in the best form suitable for it. The Centre must be made less attractive than it is now... It will save us all these needless fights and adversaries. Nigeria can only have peace and progress when it is better structured or in our separate ways.

Why won't it drop? The poor state of the economy is audible to the deaf and visible to the blind.
I don't wanna direct this question to the chronic Buharists here but lemme ask because it appears the so-called corruption fight alone is all that's happening? What's this govts. policy on Education and Health specifically huh

PoliticsRe: Yoruba Race Under Siege By Tanko Yakasai & Hausa-Fulani Hegemonic Oppressors- SR by Opharhe: 6:39pm On Oct 10, 2016
APCLyingBastard:
Which war?

If I hear say they will even attempt to congregate in Ojota, to shout "we-no-go-grees" in between chopping shared rice and dancing to fuji music under the reign of Khalifar Buhari!

Shiite treatment that they were hailing will be child's play after Buhari orders his butcher general Buruntai to reduce Lagos population of Yorubas.

It is finished for them.

They have nothing whatsoever they can use to leverage against the jihadist and their region is full of willing judases ready to sell their Treacherous services to buhari for less than what judas got.

The Yoruba political leverage they got from playing respected opposition is long dead. Now they are the ridicule of the entire nation.
The war I'm talking about is not primarily of a physical nature. I mean they're going back to play the opposition they've always been known for... This is really a very difficult time for the Yorubas. And it pains me when I see them in this kind of situation. I live in the SW and identify with them to a large extent but I fully understand their predicament right now. They fear too much and only appear to flex muscle whenever they have a quarrel with fellow southerners (like the Igbo for example). We warned during the elections, sampled history, did all that but I was rebuked among my friends.... Na because Jonathan na ur broda nai make u dey talk like this. Honestly, there was nothing wrong in them aligning with whoever they wanted for their benefit, its all politics afterall the East have also aligned with the North 2wice before. My concern then was the intention and the terms... Also considering the fact that we had the opportunity to show these guys that the country belongs to us all. The candidate brought forward too represented all we wanted to stop- a feudalist establishment which was the real problem because I believe every Nigerian from any part of the country has the right to lead this country. But sh*t happened and here we are. They think they're smart but most times behave short sighted, failing to look at the bigger picture. Another annoying thing is the way they malign the Biafra thingy with so much vigor forgetting that they too are victims of the failed establishment.
This is a really sad situation right now for them especially and the fight will be tough but if they put their acts together, recognize who the true enemy is and struggle with a strong resolve for emancipation(the rest of the South and partially the middle belt have a clear stand already)... We all will be better for it. And we shall bequeath something to be proud of to our Children either in a better structured and organised United country or in separate sovereignties.

God help us.

PoliticsRe: House Of Reps Throws Out Bill Seeking For Biafra Referendum, Says It's Illegal by Opharhe: 1:12pm On Oct 10, 2016
OP your title is misleading. The bill is about a proposed referendum for all Nigerians for a new constitution. Sponsored primarily by lawmakers from Edo(APC) and Rivers(PDP).

I believe the shabby treatment being metted out to Tinubu should be condemned by all men of good concience... Thats . ALL!
But the wicked actions of the APC-led FG against peaceful protesters and nefarious incarceration of political prisoners does not require condemnation from all men of good conscience abi?

PoliticsRe: "I Have No Intentions Of Joining APC'' - Obiano by Opharhe: 8:36pm On Oct 08, 2016
Ahmadgani:
it is crystal clear that the only political party that had, has and have been trying to bring government closer to the people is APGA. right now I am planning to introduce this party in my local government.
What are you waiting for? Please do that already. As for me, I'm obtaining a membership card anytime I get the opportunity and of course will convince other young politically conscious minds too. No more sitting on the fence. Labaran Maku gave an impressive fight in Nassarawa the other time, APGA also won a few seats in Baylesa during the last general elections too... Willie Obiano should just stay and develop and grow the party just like he's building the state. Using Anambra as a vantage point the party can be launched into other areas of the South East, South South, even South west, North and with examples of people - oriented leadership, it can become a large party with the ability to struggle for the Centre in a matter of 10yrs.
God bless Nigeria.

DesChyko:
Hahaha.. Not really. First, interracial and gay are not exclusive to porn vocabulary. Secondly, this is actually not interracial because the accused are both from the same race. So, this isn't addressing any porn that exists in the real.

This is a simple metaphor. Your interpretation is the issue.
Ah, na joke I dey b4 o grin

PoliticsRe: Western Powers Blocking Nigeria’s Power Solution – Adeosun by Opharhe: 8:49am On Oct 06, 2016
DelGardo:
You, my friend, are so ignorant.

Follow this link to see that about 40% of world energy is fuelled by coal including the US:

http://www.tsp-data-portal.org/Breakdown-of-Electricity-Generation-by-Energy-Source#tspQvChart

Even though stronger regulations apply in the US and EU they are still increasing/maintaining capacity while exploring renewables. China is still building at least 2 new coal power plants a week:

http://energydesk.greenpeace.org/2016/07/13/china-keeps-building-coal-plants-despite-new-overcapacity-policy/

The world is also moving towards electric cars, do you have one? Even if you do how many have u seen on Nigerian roads?

Stay there dey follow Kemi wey no know u dey quarrel.
grin
But why then did Buhari sign the Paris agreement? He ought not to have done that since they were plans to utilize coal or other non-green sources for power.

Isn't that contradiction?

Honestly, based on Nigerian politics, I'll go with Peter Obi as President and one strong politician from the North - West or North - East as Vice-President.

The delta and rivers state you thieves carved out of old eastern region never abi! Identity grabbers!
grin No mind that guy jare na jealousy dey worry am. Yes, Rivers state was in Eastern region(it's still in the East though geo- politically South South); Delta state was never in the East but West(later Midwest region). That's why the Igbos in Delta and Edo states are sometimes generally referred to as Western Igbo i. e Igbos located West of the River Niger.

With Love from Delta state.
