The doctors will do their part, the teachers will do their part, the engineers will do their part and the priests will do their part.

Kindly take it easy. You must be very stupid if bile and bitterness is what your numb skull could only discern from my post. Now jump forward and like a post from your fellow cretinous fools. |

Humanoid01: Their prophecies could be true, and it serves a purpose -- to give the people hope. Of course, if it's true, you can't expect the disease to vanish just like that, it must meet certain processes (this is where the work of the scientists comes in). That's why in the end, God gets the glory because He gave those prophecies so that people can have hope, and the wisdom to those scientists to actualize the prophecies. No one gets the glory besides God, not even the scientists. In essence, everyone has their part to play. No offence bro, but every person with a working brain doesn't need any pastor to tell him/her that this virus would vanish in no time. Serious countries have started working towards its cure from the moment it started, and there have been cases of patients who have recovered. |

Make it disappear or stop talking nonsense.
Scientists are working day and night to make the virus go away, you lots are sitting here collecting tithe and offering and making some predictions and pronouncements.
Now wehn the virus disappears, these lots would want to claim the glory of those scientists and their God-given knowledge and wisdom by claiming that the virus disappears as a result of their prophecies. |

0m0nnakoda: What is Yorubaland
There is nothing like that
You do not know how to debate without personal jibes
Focus on the issue.
Oyo was an empire it never succeeded in subjugating Ijebus ,Awori Even Ekiti were vassals at one point or another of Benin At every opportunity Oyo vassal states fought for freedom just like Nigeria did with Britain The Oyo lost authority over Ilorin to military force. They cannot intervene there. They cannot intervene in Sabe or Ajase in Benin republic Why do Ajase people not describe themselves as Yoruba So when I hear Young people talk of Yoruba land I laugh. Definitely people need to ask themselves what that means
It is Nigeria that has forced Ekiti, Egba ,Ijebus to call themselves Yoruba. Before Nigeria was formed they never did. Those entities were NATIONS on their own.if Nigeria breaks up and SW decided to come together there is no basis to ascribe leadership to Oyo The Oyo empire was dismantled a very long time ago Oga shut it. Only Otun Ekiti was once penetrated by the Benin army, no other town in Ekiti. And the same Otun later fell under Ibadan army. So stop your petty lie that Ekiti was once a vassal of Benin. |

Benin people claimed Oranmiyan is Benin. Why is it that Oranmiyan that created Oyo didn't influence Benin culture on Oyo people?
Why Is it that some of Yoruba gods still dey appear in Benin...
Don't mind them Abi. They claim they influence this and that town, yet no traces of their language and culture in those towns. All they do now is claim Yorubas titles and gods as their own and try to spin narrative that it's we Yorubas that stole those titles, when the titles have no meaning or history in their language. Imagine, they are claiming oba, olokun, etc as their words. How stupid and ridiculous. |

Oyo influence some segment of yorubas with thier cultural food
The edos did the thesame to the other part of yorubas Its funny now that egusi and pounded yam is now a general delicacy in nigeria a food originally Giving to idol Oga shut up. Those who left Benin to settle in neighbouring yoruba towns were those who left ife to rule benin with oranmiyan, but later left oranmiyan at benin when they found the igodomigodo people unruly and unreasonably aggressive. Hence the reason oranmiyan himself had to leave the place after naming it land of vexation {Ile ibinu, corrupted to bini, then benin}. |

Sirjamo: Nigerians always like to maintain status quo. Any good policy that is aimed to bring sanity and foster development, they would resist it just for their own selfishness.
In Holland, even billionaires use bicycles as a means of transportation. If you don't have a car and the buses aren't enough, get yourself a bicycle if your distance is not more than 5 miles. That is a country where traffic rules are obeyed. In Nigeria, dangote truck drivers see themselves as incredible hulks and car or bus drivers as flies they can crush and get away with. And you want majority to flood the road, riding bicycles with those insane fellows? This is Lagos we are talking about o, where commercial bus drivers and their rackety buses have no iota of obidience for any traffic law. I buy your idea, but much is to be done before such an idea can thrive in this state where lunacy is seen as bravery. Azazeal007: This is really a sad moment for every Nigerian students out there, when you fit into a job description and then you found out they only want people with higher degree.
Graduating with a 3rd class or pass degree I believe is no sin. But employers out there would not even look at your CV when you are below par, no matter the amount of experience you are bringing. Some unavoidable things must have happened in school that led to that, but nobody cares.
How then do you tell that to the people around you? Especially your parents or guardians who’d be feeling like their investments on you went down the drain. When people finish from the university with a third class or pass degree, they most times feel like their whole world came crashing down on them. How then do one get to a good job?
I personally fall into this category due to some unforseen circumstances but who cares. After searching fruitlessly for jobs for a year now, I just have to sit back and think about my life.
My fellow Nairalanders what is the way forward? No job, no capital to startup my own business, no money to go back for a postgraduate course. Its just me myself and I (Owusagi) Go learn a skill. Make money through the skill an save a lot. With 3.5m, you can acquire a new BSc in just a year through a Add-on program offered by schools in Ireland. When you complete it, you will be granted 1 year post study visa that allows you to work. After the one year, you can still apply for masters degree. After the masters, you will be granted 2 years post study visa which allows you to gain more working experience in Ireland. And you know a lot could happen during that period. |

The wife should focus on herself, work out and upgrade her looks, instead of giving herself unnecessary headache on top of a cheating husband and aging herself in the process. Once she starts looking sexy again, her husband will even come back to beg her. Women should learn how to use their power wisely. It’s not by disgracing yourself in public like this. You guys don't get it.
