But why should stock fish be scarce in Nigeria when we have waters and fishermen? Wetin dm con dey fish? Those fishermen have never been encouraged by our government. Maybe this border closure is a good thing after all.
Modified :
Thanks for those that took their time to inform me that certain fishes can not survive in our waters; hence the reason for importation. |

Mynd44: UN studies have actually shown that students are more likely to pick up if the teacher speaks their home language. If a teacher with a large population of Tiv students teaches Physics in Tiv, more students are likely to understand and pass.
English is just one language not a universal language. What language do you think they teach Maths in in China?
Free your mind Professor Fafunwa (from University of Ife I think), was the first Nigerian educationist to fiercely advocated it after he carried out an experiment on it. |

aro1: just look at venita character on TV,what if she's not being shown on live television? Lets not always blame men in divorce matters, this lady has bad attitude My conclusion so far. I still don't feel sorry for the husband though. He probably noticed these terrible traits, but turned a blind eye because of her physical beauty. I only feel sorry for the kids; I pray they don't suffer because of those two's mistakes. |

DownChelsea: I remember saying this yesterday. Its even more noble that he didn’t run after her, she came for him when Venita was clearly with him, then he struck her real hard, cracked her codes and opened her up. Mr man shut up! I've always seen through your lie-filled updates on Esther and Frodd, that all you want is to achieve the above foolish narrative. Hence the reason you have always made it look like they had sex, but the camera crew deliberately protected them from the viewers. You maintained this stupid stance some days back until Doptical uploaded the video. All this to satisfy your warped sense of imagination and stupid wish to proclaim Frodd some form of conqueror. Now you're lying to yourself that Frodd never gave a chase? You must think everyone watch this show through Nairaland. |

We all have been friendzoned by girls who still proceeded to behave in certain inviting ways that look like green light, and left us wondering whether we should restrategise and reattack. But we often stay off not because we are cowards, but because our respects are at stake. Dude no just get OT. I will never trade my respect for any thing in the world. |

P0c0p0c0: I doubt Frodd would be disqualified.
Esther wouldn't give any testimony that will get him outright disqualification. She doesn't hate him that much.
Maybe a strike would suffice,
Except Biggie decides to go by his laid down rules as regards sexual harrassment. Yeah I believe so. I could remember when Nelson was mad at frodd over Esther's issue, and he was telling another housemate that Frodd touched Esther inappropriately, hence Esther's attitude towards him. Big brother immediately summoned Esther, and some people here were scared Frodd would get disqualified, but nothing was said of the matter afterwards. I think that was because either she had no evidence of the incidence, or she covered for frodd, or the incidence doesn't happen at all. But I doubt the last submission because she told frodd the night he cried, that she was avoiding getting to close him because of the previous incidence with him, and he didn't deny it. |

creolehunt: Dominique, this post of yours points to a clear lack of wisdom, professionalism and tact. Now, I figure why the entire place reeks of hate, because those who are supposed to bring order are encouraging it. You ban people for insulting themselves, but turn a blind eye when a tribe is castigated.
No wonder you let the tribalists have a field day here the other day. Its either you're one of them hiding under an alternate or you were enjoying it.
I would never understand how you and your ilk find it convenient to stereotype or bring in other peoples tribes when you spill bunkum. Worse so, in an as a matter of fact tone.
You should cover your face in shame and understand that the veil has fallen. Now we've seen you for who you are. Another sick tribalist.
Seun, lalasticlala this human is not worthy to be a moderator. You don't send a thief to catch a thief. He will join in the loot. She said nothing but the blatant truth. Some comments against Esther from frodd's fans are tribe inclined. |

Alphagan: Cindy.
She is nothing close to what this show needs, she's crude, local and monotonous. She can't hold a reasonable conversation for long, her entertainment value is zero. She dresses like a typical village girl, also, she's suffering from excessive low self esteem.
Keeping her in the house is another wonder of the world, simply because most Nigerians are feeble minded, they're bandwagoners. Voting out a talented and interesting Joe in a reality show while keeping a boring, local and a Delawood in the house for a reason as stupid as 'Enkay intimidated her' is another misery scientists have to unravel. Is she not an adult? A grown woman that can't stand for herself is not only useless but doesn't deserve our pity.
I'm certain another opportunity will come to send her packing, trust me, the bandwagoners will come up with another poverty induced pity votes to keep the mgbeke in the house. Let her stay for this week at least. You guys should know that people's emotion respond to an immediate cause of action. Her grace was enkay's ill-treatment of her, and it drew viewer's emotion to her. Funny you mention village girls as if they are not humans. People decried the selection of semi-celebs and 'Yankee' housemates while everyday hustling guys were neglected. Now we have a 'village girl' on the screen, same people are still questioning her inclusion. Speak of grade A confusion. |

I'm always playing it cos I've got his 6 studio albums.
Brymstone Son of a kapenta Tabularasa Merchant dealers and slaves Klitoris Oso Lovers of art will certainly appreciate that guy. I just love the fact that he stuck to his A game. Most brilliant people are hardly recognised. |
Celebrities › Re: Brymo Shares Photo With His Father & His Son by Opiletool(m): 9:02pm On Aug 16, 2019 |
psalmuelwater: I've listened to both Asa's and Brymo's work from when they started up till now, and to be honest Brymo is fearless and never stops experimenting, Asa is Kind of predictable and doesn't go deep, Asa's deepest Album still remains ' Asa' , but Brymo's Oso Alone is deeper with tracks like banuso and olanrewaju. Maybe Brymo's knowledge and use of Yoruba Language gives him an edge. Both of them are LEGENDARY! Nah, I don't think it really has to do with the knowledge of yoruba, rather with the dept of his thinking ability, which in turn gives him creativity in the use of words(word play). You can see that in some of his posts on social media. He would make a great poet. I bet he knows this, hence why he stylishly likened himself to wole soyinka in this last album 'Oso' (aside from the similar arrogant attitude and strong convinction). Listen to Olumo, and you will get what I meant by stylish link to soyinka and obasanjo (another arrogant and stubborn personality). Coupled with the fact he also uses fela's (another person in the line of that same character) style in some of his songs. That is why I love listening to him. |
Celebrities › Re: Brymo Shares Photo With His Father & His Son by Opiletool(m): 8:26pm On Aug 16, 2019 |
sleek82: Brymo is good but please don't compare him with Asa abeg! He is better in my opinion. I am a fan of both, but dude has lyrical prowess spiced up with poetic elements, as well as powerful rendition. Most of Asa's lyrics are shallow (I mean you can understand them at the surface meaning and at the first listening). But for Brymo, you're gonna have to dig deep. Listen numerous times before you can get the meaning in his lyrics. The surface interpretation might not necessarily be the intended meaning, just like wole soyinka's poem. Example is billion naira dream, let us be great, dem dey go, God is in your mind etc. |

eksbabe: And Cindy doesn’t have her own issues? The other time she took Jackye’s bottle and didn’t tell her or how she wears people’s slippers without asking for it.
Tacha said during her diary session that Cindy was weak because she didn’t look serious to her. Did the internet scream condescending? Now y’all call Enkay condescending over a ludo game, something Cindy herself knows why it happened.
Tacha said Frodd should be happy he sees her everyday as per celebrity that she is but nobody screamed condescending because it was Frodd.
The viewers already wrote off Cindy the night she came in. She is dragged on Twitter and Nairaland everyday for one thing or the other and now it is Enkay that is condescending?
Let me go back to voting joor So nobody dragged Tacha when she said that to Frodd? When did you start watching ur own BBN? |

eksbabe: It is TRUE. She was upset and it has nothing to do with being proud. Cindy herself explained the situation to Joe. That enkay has always been on Cindy's case. Once told Cindy to her face that the way she chew disgusts her, and even left the room. Maybe they had a beef prior to their entry into the house. |
