Yes.. but Oranmiyan is the most powerful child of oduduwa, he was a warrior. Oduduwa gave him mettle of leadership, the reason his descendants are the most powerful Obas in Nigeria.

Oba of Benin a direct descendant
Alafin a direct descendant
Oba of Lagos a direct descendant

Don't forget prior before independent Alafin was the most powerful traditional ruler in Youruba land.

Why do you people say oba of lagos? Who crowned who 'oba of lagos'?

Oba of Lagos, his kingdom covers which part of Lagos?

Stop calling him oba of lagos. Lagos has more than 20 Kings. He only rules over eko idumota.

Dis guy's talent na to copy usher only, dis song is nothing in a music lovers ear. Paul is by far a better singer than Peter.

Peter is only good in trying to be like a Michael Jackson or usher. 1:
Zombie na rubbish
2: Look into my eyes na rubbish
3: combine all his songs and it's still rubbish.

You too copy sebody na.. If you think it's easy to copy and blow, go and copy small doctor. Na now you know sey hime dey copy dance step, same dance steps wey blow psquare to the world, abi u think sey na the song do am? Why Paul still dey struggle with him village voice?

Lolz. I have klitoris, never heard of "Trans" and "OS0". Even thought klitoris was part of tabulasa.

You be Team4:20 no doubt.

I just love his poetic usage of words. His ability to masquerade meanings behind certain expressions is top notch. You'd have to listen and reason just to understand him. This is why I rate him above Asa and any other Nigerian musician.

Go to YouTube bro. His albums are there. And if you wanna download, I'd advice you get a YouTube download app like Tubemate (you won't find it in playstore or apple store) and download pure versions. Those ones on naija music sites have been altered with those annoying intros, except for tooexclusive.

Happy Birthday Brymo. Always and forever a fan of yours.

Very nice track...the opening line is quite deep if you understand Yoruba..................abere a lo (the needle will go on continuously), ki ona okun o to di ( before the thread's pathway is tied or becomes blocked). A o ni de bawon, eni bani kama de o (it is those who wish evil for us enroute our trips that we will not meet when we get back).........very deep track and you need to listen to it with a good earpiece. The back ground alone leaving him all alone (in a dark background )to himself speaks volume about the entire theme of the song which is about keeping things to yourself. How about the insane piano play on it and the choral themed beats? This is an excellent work of art.
I doff my hat for Brymo!

My favourite track in that album is "God is in Your Mind'

"fight your wars, lose at some, fight some more
Don't be scared to get lost and be found
You're that someone you think you're looking for
Let the fire burn just like before"
Chorus
"For the first time, God shall be without a face
For the first time, God shall be without a name
You no longer look for self in every mirror
For the first time, God is in your mind"

Very deep lyric with lots of meanings. Dude is a freaking genius

Literature / Re: Wole Soyinka Replies Reno Omokri Over Chinua Achebe Being Better Than Him by Opiletool(m): 7:27pm On May 09, 2019
Sanchez01:

The emboldened is a suicidal comparison. I read tons of John Milton's works way back as I did Shakespeares. Achebe can clearly be likened to Milton. Both focused on a genre while Shakespeare and Soyinka found a genre to be restrictive.

As good as Milton was with poetry, Shakespeare was referred to as a national poet and the 'Bard of Avon'. That tells a whole lot. It is only fair to compare writers who focus solely on one genre. Example: Frank AIG-Imokhuede vs J.P. Clarke or Niyi Osundare, etc.

Achebe and Soyinka's argument is like drawing comparisons between a fixed player vs a utility player in football. They are not even close by a mile. Whatever Achebe wrote in his prose world, Soyinka translated into the same genre and extended to the other two. Even his plays I saw alongside that of Ola Rotimi way back left me dazed.

You pick Soyinka's works to study and analyze only to start wondering what he was thinking when he wrote that particular work. Achebe is an amazing writer in his own right and his novel enjoyed more popularity than Soyinka's for several reasons. Sadly, comparing saying Achebe is better as far as literature is concerned is committing a literary Seppuku.

I could recall comparing WS's Abiku to J.P Clarke 's. I had to start thinking so deeply, asking myself what WS was thinking when writing the poem. That made me Google the year the poem was writing, and read that he was in prison at that time, denied access to paper and pen, and yet he wrote a collection of poem. That helped me understand the real meaning behind the poem.

The only thing Achebe has is he was the first.

He is average.
I do not agree that we was a master storyteller or that literature is about storytelling.
He was an average storyteller.

JK Rowling.James Hadley Chase,Robert Ludlum are great storytellers.
That is not what literary prizes are for
You are right, there are many many African writers and indeed Nigerians who are way better but he was the first and must be respected for that.
As a poet he was nothing to write home about especially when we consider Christopher Okigbo,Gabriel Okara,Okogbule Wonodi etc
|He should be compared with Ben Okri though and not Soyinka who is more of a playwright than a novelist .

Although, I enjoyed Things Fall Apart, but, I'd pick Ngugi Wa Thiongo over Achebe.

Sports / Re: Harry Kane 'hopeful' Of Being Fit For Champions League Final by Opiletool(m): 6:06am On May 09, 2019
These big players sometimes ruin matches especially when the game is built around them. To me, what helped Liverpool in the UCL is the fact that salah wasn't fit, hence, he would have been a distraction on the pitch, just like the first leg. But the 2nd leg was an opportunity for every player to showcase his potentials and hustle to win. In the first leg, most passes were sent to salah, hoping he would perform wonders, thereby reducing the number of attacks from other players. I hope Harry kane will not be a distraction to Tottenham this time around.

maybe try to reinstall or check if the game needs any update

I have done all. Na the game sabi jor. I Don dey play pes already. But Fifa mobiles graphics, to me, still beats that of pes, considering its small size. Players style of sprint is peculiar to how they sprint in real life, especially that of Ronaldo. But this season has been poo.

should network issues
or from the game

Actually, anytime it happens to me on my previous devices, I'd off 4G network and launch the game with 3G, (it won't launch of course)
Then close the game, and on 4G
Relaunch the game with 4G.

Or

I'd launch the game with a different network (WiFi or my 2nd network carrier)

Those 2 strategies always work. But not in this case. I've done the two time so numerous, all with no success.
