ionsman: I just came out from the dunghill and so am prolly ignorant of what has been happening. Are you satisfied now?To show you are the one unconsciously fooling yourself, was it the Cameroonian army that released photos and a video(I stand to be corrected)of shekau's supposed killing? You didn't have to quote me. If you didn't like what I posted from the onset, you ignore and move ahead instead of making yourself look like a Berk. Please, for your own good, move on and don't quote me again.
I don't really give a fvck abt pple like u. However, since u stated that u stand to be corrected, i will point out to u the fact that it was the cameroonians who actually released picture of Shekua death before the Nigerian army made official statement concerning that. I guess u busy reading rumours from bloggers and couldn't seperate official news from rumours. U can verify that here on nl. Pls where did u see a video of Shekua killing? Defence hq gave it to u? I will like to know pls.

Raiders: its not matter of James bond. Its not the responsibilty of America to find the chibok girls. And stop blaming America for boko haram. Ask yourself what America is going to gain from boko haram The truth is the government are not really serious about this whole boko haram saga. People in the government are making money from this boko haram stuff. Its just like the niger delta insurgency when some people in power made money out of it. The government can really put an end to this boko haram problem if they really want to. I am just tired of seeing innocent Nigerians killed everyday. Its high time for the government to start taking protecting life and property.
Well i use America to point out how difficult getting intel is. One thing i hate abt us is that we responds and reacts to passion rather than the dictate of reasons. Those in power are making money from it, pdp is gaining from it, apc hopes to gain from it..... I won't talk abt that cos it's not worth the stress. Abt Niger delta, which officials were making money? State governors that were going to the creeks to plead with the militants to down weapons or Abuja?... It's very easy to think u know much abt the person doing the job when u are just a spectator. Just as we all better coaches than Wenger and Van Gaal. Peace.

Raiders: Bro, its very easy for the Nigeria government to get a known relatives of shekua. You may not know where he comes from but the Nigerian government knows alot about Shekua and can easily find any of his relatives. Boko haram are not ghosts that fell from hell. They have known family members living in Nigeria
Aswear u don watch hollwood tire. Espionage is not that easy as it's portrayed in James Bond OO7. Even almighty America with all their arsenal does not know much shit abt this...that explains their inaction abt the Chibok saga. The are only hidding under the excuse of not wanting to share intel to save their face...or as someone suggested they are the instigators......

Raiders: Are you telling me that the federal government of Nigeria don't know anything about Shekua history? They don't know his parents, uncles, aunties, cousins, siblings. Shekua is not a ghost. The government know everything about him
Hia! How many times are u gonna ask me this? Shekua is not a ghost...yes! But we don't know shit about him. He could be El rufia for some, cia creation, GEJ, Ihejerika, Buhari, Nyako Orijiffor for others.... Shebi na watin u wan hear be that ni?

Raiders: is shekua a ghost? Don't he have known relatives? Shekua is a Nigerian and surely have family members in his village.
We don't know his village or relatives. Pls help find out if u can. Btw, we are not sure if the beast itself even know who his father is. Do you think that half the millions of amajiri mob soldiers knows their father or where they are from??

Raiders: don't tell me the government don't know any of Shekua relatives in maiduguri? When the Niger deltan militant John Togo was killed in 2009, the army performed a dna test before burying him. Why cant they do the Same with shekua? Shekua is not a ghost and surely have relatives in borno state. Somebody is playing with the intelligence of Nigerians .
Shekua is not Yusuf pls. If u know his relatives or any thing abt him do let us know pls. U will be greatly rewarded.

Raiders: I tell people on this forum that there is no such thing as real or fake Abubaker Shekua. Because all the different Shekua look alike. I was really surprise when the government said the real Skekau was killed in 2009. I wonder why the government will declare shekua dead if they didn't first perform dna test to know if the dead man is really shekua.
Whose DNA are we going to match Shekua's with? Urs i guess or is he ur blooda in law?....

U didn't mention Cameroonians? I guess they PDP or GEJ supporters.....
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Boko Haram's, Abubakar Shekau Appears In New Video. by Opiosko: 3:01pm On Oct 02, 2014
Raiders: The honest truth is that no one know if Shekua is really dead or alive even the US government doubt the story of his demise. The only way to really determine if he is really dead is through DNA test. Although I think he is still alive because that picture don't look like the shekua
DNA for watin? Do u even know his identity? Oh! He could it be....he is ur blooda? Ogbeni forget that dna tingy. Talking abt the US, well US sure know a lot abt this Shekua and boko haram than we think.... Someone just suggested they(US) has the capability to create any type and any number of Shekua (Islamic terrorist, digital Shekua etc) any time the want. Pls dnt forget the even Cameroonian idiots also reported Shekua demise.

Ilaje44: All over the world, Judges have the liberty to decide when to hear, to continue to hear, and to give their verdicts on a proceeding they preside over. If anyone feels the time set by the presiding judge is unreasonable, and your lawyers can't convince the Judge to reschedule the appointment, I think the law also provide an avenue to seek a restraining injunction from a competent court. You can even get the case withdrawn from the particular judge, if you can proof that he was biased in deciding the date of the hearing.

At least that's how it's in a country that is not ridden with lawlessness as we have in Nigeria. Soon, everyone that's financially capable will have their own personal army, and lawlessness will multiply.

Good one man. I'm not in any way in support of the mob action, i only try to draw attention the judge role in the brohaha. I think this extreme reaction is a consequence of Justice Salami Robin Hood judicial activism.
PoliticsRe: EKITI CRISIS: Fayose; Another ‘idi Amin Of Uganda’ – Femi Falana by Opiosko: 5:20pm On Sep 29, 2014
mpowa: Nobody should support this show of shame no matter his political affiliations, this incident should be brought to book, it should not just pass, when court proceedings are being obstructed and judges are being beaten up, then it's the beginning of the end of any civil society.

President Jonathan should say distant himself from this show of shame, yes it affects his party, but he must prove to Nigerians that he doesn't support lawlessness, i thing it's high time Nigerians begin to look past selfishish interests and embrace what is RIGHT or we're heading nowhere.
Good point. I would however add that jurists should not abuse the priviledge of the hallowed chamber of justice. The court is the last hope of the commom man and therefore must act to safeguard their interest. ()This case would not have turned out this way if not for the judicial rascality of the presiding jurist. Why is he making it look like he is gone all out to stop Fayose from being sworn in? He is either doing a hachet job or he lacks good judgement. This issue should have been a pre-election matter for all i care..... Then looking at the way he discarded his sandals in haste to fast track the proceedings and fixed his ruling date is such a way as to make it impossible to file an appeal before the inaguration day.......knowing fully well that his judgement is not the final conclusion in the case is nothing but an attempt to rape both the judicial and democratic process. This type of Robin Hood judicial activism will do great harm to the society. Ekiti people clearly feared another Salaminisation of their vote and resorted to this ignorble action. The case should be taken away from the presiding judge. The Judicial Commission should investigate him and see how things got out of hand like this.

Baawaa: Listen to yourself, you want him to bent the proceeding in-order wrong can turn right
I don't think u followed this matter well. Pls try and read the parties argument..... There is a saying that "the court/judge must not only do justice, but must ensure that it must seem that justice has been done". The presiding judge should not have fixed his judgment day in such a way to make an appeal impossible before the inaguration day since his judgment is not final on the case. The court should not be seen as favouring one party otherwise it's not justices but robbing Peter to pay Paul.
PoliticsRe: EKITI CRISIS: Fayose; Another ‘idi Amin Of Uganda’ – Femi Falana by Opiosko: 11:20am On Sep 29, 2014
Gbawe: @Topic.

I don't support Fayose being denied his mandate to lead Ekiti through the use of back door tactics. I believe Fayemi lost the election to Fayose. Nonetheless, this is politics and any legitimate and legal tactics to defeat a foes is 'par for the course'. If the APC Fayemi camp has now seen a legally pertinent argument establishing the case, beyond doubt, that Fayose was disqualified from running as a gubernatorial candidate then they would be incorrigible victims for not using this advantage to confront PDP impunity and lawlessness.

The same thing happened in the past when some stakeholders tried to prevent Ibori from contesting to be a governor. Those brave stakeholders took their case to court and argued correctly that Ibori had been convicted of a criminal offence in the UK and thus disqualified from participating in a guber race in Nigeria. OBJ, with his mind settled on another 'criminal son' in Ibori, would have non of it. The judge brazenly declared that the Ibori convicted of criminal behaviour in the UK was not the same Ibori vying to be Governor In Nigeria. Of course we all now know this to be false and another disgrace to corrupt Nigerian judiciary and the lawless backbone of Nigerian leaders OBJ and GEJ commonly typify.

Fayose won but the APC should not let go if there is a legally verifiable reason barring Fayose from contesting in the first place. Enough of the PDP foisting convicted criminals and felons on Nigeria.

Fayose on his part, if he is not the thug people claim he is, should never use thuggery and violence in an an effort to intimidate the judicial process. That is unacceptable in civilised and democratic society. I think Fayose knows that a legally enforceable case against him can be established and this is why he is acting desperately. Most folks can admit he won but Nigeria should never seek to be a Country where law and order is relegated to the back because of political agenda. If it can be proven that Fayose was disqualified from running then let this be a watershed case that perhaps puts an end to PDP's practice of presenting disqualified convicted criminals and felons as candidates for important public office. They have gotten away with it for far too long.
You made some good points but i think u left out the most important one. The presiding judge is acting suspictiously. Looking at the haste with which he rushed the proceeding, he is clearly trying to stop Fayose from being sworn in, that's clear from the date he fixed to deliver his judgment. The date is such that there won't be an opportunity to file an appeal before the inaguration......the judge should be blamed for be trying to act out another Salami Robin Hood judicial activism.
