This story needs to be verified, first and foremost the luggage scanners are inside the airport not in the aircraft. At the planes entrance security agents use body scanners to check if the passenger is carrying any weapon. Each luggage is also identified by the passengers before they are loaded in the plane.

Having said that, I don't see how the air hostess who has no business in the airport checking in point could have seen that the bag was not scanned. Also if this story is anything to go by FAAN and the airline ought to make a categorical statement on the issue.

I am very sure nowadays they don't even pay severance package to these set of workers. Banks should just return to what they used to be FirstBank, UBA and Union bank.
