This government is irresponsible they wont build new ones and they wont repair the old ones built by other visionary leaders. Let them be stealing money one day they will all vanish like the wind.

No man can take the glory of God and God doesnt like this type of thing. I f Super Eagles should win now you can imagine the number of unsuspecting pple that will start trooping to that church. For this singular pronouncement alone the wrath of God can be kindled on the Eagles. So we must pray that these type of pastors do not cause problems for us. Eagles should go and play their game and trust in God alone and should not trust in such predictions.

If Eagles ever make the careless mistake in trusting in man's prediction they are goners. Bukinabes are coming out with all vigor and determination against the Eagles and so they should never for a moment think its will be a walk over match, it might just as well be the match that will expose all the shortcomings in the Eagles team, but we pray for victory because a loss at this stage might lead to more crisis in the country.

Business › Re: Soludo Versus Sanusi? Who Is The Better Reformer? by opribo(m): 8:16pm On Jul 05, 2012
Honestly, it is a sin against humanity for any reasonable person to put the amiable professor of economics Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo and the Malam Sanusi on any form of scale. On what basis is the comparism to even begin. Sanusi should be equated with his likes and we know them even in this GEJ's government. Prof like Soludo is in a class of his own above equals, I am sure on a good day when he is dishing out intellectual stuff on economy the likes of malam should take the back seat. I am even more surprised that madam NOI can still work in the same cabinet with the Malam, anyway time will tell because light and darkness do not cross.

Back to the topic.
If we take the economic reforms, the monetary policy of prof Soludo is far far better than whatever malam will ever come up with. This can be attested by the number of international awards given to prof and the world acclaimed NEEDs project. How many has malam put forward other than creating an atmosphere of war in the financial sector.

2. It took prof Charles less than two years to reduce the number of banks from over 89 to 25 through excellent merger and acquisition policies and programs without any rancor and hullabaloo but see its almost the entire lifespan of Malam's tenure he is still battling with just to merge 8 banks with the attendant lies and acrimony generated, today its either foreign investors are coming but how many of his so called merger have any foreign investor. Need I say that all his merged banks are heading for disaster because they were all based on faulty decisions.

3. Sanusi's presentations style is arcane to a man on drugs. Did you guys notice how he was pacing around during the fuel subsidy discussion/debate. In developed economies he would have been tested in case he was under the influence of something, but compare that to prof Soludo's NEEDs presentations in Abuja.

4. Look at the outward appearance of prof and malam. Cant you guys see that something is wrong. Soludo is brand we can take anywhere in the world but truthfully what shall we say to these things. His shaving is clean and polished but for malam u guys can judge for urself. This is what you get in a quota system driven country, mediocrity at its height. Even had he now wears Sultana to the office.

5. See the number of jobs created by Soludo and how malam has made a mess of it. Today there is serious confusion in the financial sector. job loses and all.

Let me stop here for now but please and please let no one ever try to compare prof with malam they have nothing in common. For those who still malam is working, time will surely tell.
May I give kudos to OBJ for showcasing prof Soludo at least that shows there is still hope for Naija, if we can have more of Soludo then Naija will be on a sound footing for rapid development.

Travel › Re: Dana Air Pilot’s Last Conversations With Air Traffic Controller by opribo(m): 12:20pm On Jun 12, 2012
I thought pilots were heavily trained to handle any kind of air emergency situation. If both engines of an airplane fails simultaneously that certainly calls for a thorough look into the course because from my own naive understanding of airplane, the 2 engines cannot go bad at the same-time more so for the plane to have gotten to Lagos. I think the maneuverability of the plane for landing must have cracked up the engine because the plane was old and could not cope with the rigors of one more landing.

May their gentle souls rest in peace. The management of DANA must be apprehended for mass murder.

Family › Re: Marrying From An Extremely Poor Home. Can You Consider It? by opribo(m): 12:30pm On Apr 04, 2012
Before NLanders will start attacking me let me make myself clear, I have nothing against the poor...my own is that everybody has a choice to make in life at one time or the other. Just as they say love is blind but I believe love has its eyes wide open that is why nobody sees a beautiful mula babe and go ahead and marry her neither do you see a beautiful mad girl and go ahead and marry her.

In the same way our elders have a saying that 'the person who's father is not rich it is not his fault BUT the person who's father inlaw is not rich is his own making' because why... he opened his eyes wide open to go ahead and go into everlasting penury. Our good Lord has given us the sound mind and body to discern where there is trouble and stay clear of such areas. Why on earth will a struggling man no look for a lady who has equally tried on her part to come out of poverty line rather he is not sitting down properly yet he wants to stretch his legs.

Let us take for example a young man from a poor family who has managed to finish school and working. Now this young man is at the borderline because he barely can make ends meet he just can survive with all his dependants and hangers on and extended family members and personal responsibilities. Now if this man goes on to marry from an extremely poor family he is compounding his problems because they will transfer all their problems on him until they kill such a person with their loads of demand and problem.
The advise to the poster therefore is to flee from poor extremley families, it is a disease and highly contangious one for that matter. Mind you poverty comes in various shades and color it can come in form of lack of education or millions of dependants.
Be strategic, look for a material spouse and lady/man of substance who has something to offer to better your position, someone that will partner with you and take your life from where it is to another level. Many men/women today have died prematurely because of marrying from a wretched, ramshackle home that has nothing to offer other than quarrels, demand upon demand and most of all they will introduce all kinds of churches, spiritualism, and charms into the persons life. The ultimate goal is to wreck the person finally and then carry on with their misearable lives.
KEEP OFF FROM POVERTY STRICKEN FAMILIES THEY HAVE NOTHING TO OFFER.

Who dare this rubbish lady insult the Ibo men. She must not cross river Niger again in her best interest. Yeye thing
Celebrities › Re: “I Cannot Marry An Igbo Man Because They Are Too Nosy – Tonto Dikeh by opribo(m): 12:36pm On Apr 03, 2012
No true Ibo man can ever take this girl home to his mother and umunna as a wife, else they will excommunicate the man. The reason is that this Tonto girl has so bastardised her reputation and image that no true son of the soil will take such in as a wife. Ibo men are proud and have dignity and we take great pride in our wive's by making sure they are well taken care of in everyway that we can make them happy. If possible we want to make them the best women in town because the state of ones wife determines how wealthy and how important a man is so we make sure we get the best woman as a wife.

We dont compromise on standards, an ibo wife material can never act porn movie, an ibo wife material can never display her asset publicly. The parents of such a girl must disown her. Such characters are strange to ibo land that is why they find solace in Benin and Yoruba land because Iboland can never condone such extreme behaviours we stone such ladies until they die and we feed their carcass to the vultures. True Ibo women are sacred and blessed and endored so they dont debase themselves like Tonto. She can go anywhere and marry, she is not a true Ibo girl.

Ignore them, this ia the handy work of jobless and mischievousness neighbors. Real robbers dont announce their coming. the people that wrote it are people who live within the area and they know who is who in the neighborhood.

What to do let everybody just go about their normal duty and put up a notice board informing the general public that any robber will be beheaded, that the community is ready for them. With this they will stay away.

Politics › Re: Imo State Government To Start Airline Soon by opribo(m): 3:48pm On Feb 29, 2012
Dear My Rochas,
I pray that all your vision come true and may your dreams never die. It is the likes of you that our people want in Imo state. However, I will like to advise that you take baby steps to achieve your vision for Imo state.
There have been many promises without a thought through process how they will be actualized. I know you want to transform Imo within the shortest possible time, I pray God see you through all your plans but I will rather preach that you implement a sustainable development plan that will out live your stay. A development plan that will ensure. Many wild elephant projects today in Nigeria are either in one state of abandonment or the other because the vision-er does not complete the project within his tenure so new government abandons the project half way. Others end up on the drawing board.

If I may say I will suggest you look at the following areas which is what our dear Imo state is begging for at the moment.

1. Industrialization- partner with foreign firms to set up industries to provide jobs for the indigene of the state. We have oil palm produce, rubber, marine.
2. Agriculture: IMO state boast of a very good agricultural land mass. Why cant the state go into industrial agriculture to grow food for the state and the nation. We can partner with foreign agricultural firms for piggery, poultry farming etc.
3. Transportation: affordable transportation and and accessible road network
4. Education: Let us improve on the primary and secondary education. the tertiary institution in the state for now is sufficient. Let us improve on the primary and secondary school system.

Lets do the little things that impact than the big ones that may be difficult to finish and even impossible to sustain after we are gone.

Here are some of the numerous gigantic promises you have made to the beloved people of Imo state.

Okorocha announced the new arrangement in his “State of Imo” address, which he presented on Tuesday at Heroes Square, Owerri.

Family › Re: Is Marriage Worth It For Guys? by opribo(m): 10:32am On Feb 01, 2012
In my opinion, marriage nowadays is not worth it, it has lost its significance and meaning. A situation you call a woman your wife yet she goes about showing her nudity to other men is that the sanctity of marriage. In every 5 marriages today at least four have been unfaithful to their spouses. At the end of the day marriage today has become money for stay, no money for go.

It is not even a matter of poverty because even the so called working class women are high on the infidelity list. the problem here now is that when these women cheat and get sick they carry their 'wahala' to the husband in the house he is the one to carry the headache.

So to answer to the poster if you can have children out their like Tuface all well and good and you bring them up to your taste and in the way of the Lord, get a nanny to handle that for you.

There are no more good women out there all of them are too materialistic, they lack the fear of God and they are worldly. Thay have sold their souls to the devil and therefore luring more and more men to hell just as Eve did to Adam. If you doubt me take a look at their dressing nowadays it is targeted to seduce any man. Some ladies today will just meet you on the road and the next thing they are in your bed without any qualms tell me are those not agents sent to destroy.

So now some unsuspecting guy will now go and marry them into the house after destroying their bodies with men who wont marry them, and these same women will have the guts to give you trouble even in your own home all in the name of marriage.
its just not worth it any more. Just have kids and move ahead, the women dont have any love in their hearts no more.

They are just after money, money  and more money.
It was never like this in the past, it has become very bad mow and dangerous. Guy beware of the modern day women out there.

Well you dont need to do much as long as he loves you. Being over there with you i am sure the true Iboism must have been diluted but there are some things that will never fade away from the Ibo husband.
You must treat him like a king, when he talks you must listen no matter how valuable your opinion miggt be. Throw away all those American abusive language just calm down and talk to him dont ever raise your voice to avoid a dastardly slap across your pretty face. We dont want to be challenged.

Then you must learn how to make good food, the type he likes. You must love his children very very well. You must dress well always and take care of the home. You must be very prayerful and always pray for him everyday and sing for him.
You must love his family even if you dont like them you must not show it.

You must be a decent and virtuous woman the type that  brings joy to the family. No boyfriends and no too much friends.
