Some people work remotely, hardly go out and have solar panel wired up, their fuel consumption will be low.

Some do transportation business, fuel consumption will be high.

Some run generator for business but make profit from their businesses to cater for the cost of fuel.

I got to market 3 days after, a much hiked price. Same goes for everything presently in the country. If you are a vehicle user, you will understand the guys tears to the maximum. Yesterday, I got 7k fuel expecting to go to a particular area and come back with it. Normally before tinubulation, na 1k fuel I dey use go come. Trust me 7k fuel couldn't take me. I didn't even use my Honda which is a V6, I used my old Corolla for economical reasons. You can't buy 15k fuel and think you have something. This things are easier said. Was travelling yesterday and decided to use public. Got to the park, and a woman also came with 3 kids. She heard the price plus driver told her she needs to get space for her wards. Her own money never complete sef talk more of the kids who will lap. See the woman begging and folks around there were judgemental as well. I decided to help the woman pay the both fares and after few chitchat, turns out she was going to her family in the state to ask for help as she couldn't even feed again. About a month ago my uncle who residents in Lagos called my Dad to share the good news about how some friend of his who resides in Canada and have secured a job for him in the Canada.

The said friend assured my uncle that all is ready for him to move abroad both the job he will be doing and all sundry. Only thing remaining is for him to secure the fight ticket.

Looks too good to be true to me but my uncle wouldn't listen to any contrary opinion about the possibility of a scam.

If I try to bring it to light about the possibility of it being a scam he always push back with claims that some men of God confirmed to him that he will travel out soonest and I don't want to sound like a hater so I just lock up.

But my problem is that right now we are selling family lands to give to him to fund the travel with hope that if everything works out fine then he would have created link for other members of the extended family to be able to travel out to Canada.

I think we will regret this later.
