l get your point bro. But like l said earlier, anything can happen. My dad for instance bought plots of land and invested heavily in stocks while he was still working. He was doing really well for himself. He was the first person in my family to build a beautiful three-storied duplex in my Village. Everyone respected him as a rich man. My mom was also doing quite well for herself as a Bank Cashier. Everything was really going fine for us untill my mom was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2009. My dad sold his lands and shares and literally spent his last Kobo on my mom's treatment. Cancer treatment no be beans bro. One shot of chemotherapy alone costed 50k back then that money still get value oo. Now, it's around 450k. Upon everything, my mom still passed away in 2012. So that's why l said that anything can happen. You may have big investments and all that. But just one sickness or natural disaster like fire outbreaks or flooding or even one bad investment or government policy can destroy everything at once. So the best way to avoid getting under when hit by an unforseen circumstance is to have less kids. That's Just my own opinion sha. Shalom.

Intresting. My dad really tried for us in every ramifications. We had everything we wanted as kids. My mom spoilt us silly when we were kids. But after she sadly passed away in 2012, it wasn't that easy for my dad to train four kids in the university at once. Anyways, we are all doing well today and he's eating the fruits of his labour. But l will never give birth to more than 2 kids no matter what, cus anything can happen at any time.
In the same vein, my dad married quite late at 35, so by the time we were all in the university, he was already a retired Bank Auditor relying mostly on pensions and stoke brokerage. So l will never have kids once l cross 35. Training kids in old age no be beans at all.

No disrespect to daddy, but if you plan yourself well enough financially, you can have kids anytime anyday. I know an officer who retired as a two star general in the airforce. He had a kid a year to retirement though it's been over 7years he retired, the kid is still an undiluted nepo kid. I also know a Maj Gen who resides in Ibadan, he retired around 2019 is last child was still 5 around then. Boy was living in full affluence.


In short, it's not about when you have kids, it's about planning your finance even till very old age. I'm still very single and I don't even rely on my salary again to breathe, it's added. My plan is to marry around 36 and I believe money won't be an issue even at old age.
