I got an invite today for the aptitude test but from what I've been reading on this thread, I don't think I stand a chance.

It's means another business has a similar name. Try adding something to the name, i.e. another word.
Or better still call one of these CAC numbers, they will further explain.

Same happened to me, my netbook was of 32 bit and windows 8 and above is compatible with 64 bit.

I think I had to format my laptop and install Windows 7 newly.

Oh, it is relevant. Because at the time of the rennaisance, Asian lived in bamboo houses as Africans. Some parts of Asia were also colonised by the British and Dutch but today, their economy is fairing pretty better than ours.

But you see, this isn't a bad thing, there is something called the growth mindset; a belief that all human attributes are malleable and that percieved ability correlates with effort. When you see things this way, intellectual superiority of other races doesn't make you feel inferior nor does it put you down, rather, it becomes a challenge. I agree with you on every point except these ones.

We also need to stop believing we are intellectually inferior to whites. A child gets told several times that he is stupid and after several failures, he starts to believe it to be true even though he could have achieved the same dream even with the same amount of failures provided he had good motivation.

We need to start believe we can and that we would achieve the same feats and even bigger ones than the whites have.

White men love their women how they are, we also need to start loving and encouraging our women to be more productive.

Their men love their women as flatchested as most of them are , the main attraction is the intellectual capability. On the other hand, our men love based on what they see and a few black women may have had to appear a little less nerdy so they can get attention of men.

We just have to change our mentality and encourage our women to set goals and dreams for themselves to achieve not minding whether or not they aren't the main provider for the family.

I think it's the mentality. It's not that we aren't as intelligent as the whites- we just don't believe in ourselves as creators, we believe in being the best servants.


The same phenomena is to be observed among the Indians; they have so many graduates of what we refer to as good courses- medicine, engineering, computer science e.t.c but one still wonders why their economy is much worse than China where every one studies to become a business man.

Many of our graduates go to school with the thought of becoming employed and serving someone while most whites are encouraged to dream and a child from such environment goes to school with the intention of learning more to achieve his/her dreams.
Not to forget- Greed and Pride.

These two evils are the causes of corruption and extravagant spending which are like nature-stamps on blacks. We always indulge in them regardless of what type of blacks we are: African or American.

We celebrate mediocrity and showoffs and we live life like it's going to end in a minute.

I once watched a movie set in a time of war and slavery still existed. A white man had come along a couple of blacks running away from the war. Can you believe that there had been a man among them with a big overturned four-ended iron rod, with spikes at each end to pierce his skin in the case he attempted removing it and neither him nor his fellow blacks had seems it as a priority to take off his neck. The white man comes along and upon noticing the inconvenience the man was experiencing, he proceeds to help him figure out how to take off the rod the next day.

Why didn't his fellow blacks think of it as the priority rather than eating and sleeping in pains? Why would anyone spend a million naira on a wedding and yet not have running water in his/her house?

Why do we focus on irrelevant things and leave the important ones unopened and unexplored?
