Pls, I would like to know the current waiting time to get an interview date after applying for student visa Category B.

Yes, you can go for the interview without being enrolled. The Consular may or may not ask if you are enrolled but after you receive your AM they may ask you to bring your proof of enrollment along with your passport and health insurance. They asked me to bring my enrollment certificate.

So just enroll ASAP whenever you have the chance. And pls don't lie to the Consular at all.
If you aren't sure say you aren't sure.

Like she didn't ask me the GDP initially until when she said "so I don't know the president of Germany". So I made her realize I know more than the president of Germany.

And of course other basic questions like why Germany, why not the US, Canada etc.

Most times, yes. Usually, when people wait up to a month without any rejection email, then it's AM. But, you fit still wait still get rejection.

There's usually a delay. It's at the point where your application is sent to the Foreign office in Germany for them to make a decision. Usually, it takes around 3 months at most I think. But, I know someone who got AD same time as your husband and just received AM some time last week. So, wait a little and then email the embassy with some details (screenshots) of his progress.

So let's say he/she waited 8 weeks to get AM.

But is it true if they do not send any rejection email in the first 3 weeks you have a high chance of getting AM?

Scheduled date of interview
15/02/2023

I couldn't go for the interview, my papers were not complete then. Then I wrote a mail to them immediately(13 Feb 2023), after I canceled the appointment (13 Feb 2023), informing them I couldn't make it for the interview.

I got a response that I should save the mail and once I reapply I should send them my new reference number.
I reapplied on 12/06/2023. Got a response on 19/06/2023 and my interview was on 30/06/2023.

I have been waiting for AM since then, 5 weeks already hoping to hear good news.
