SarkinYarki:
Why Buhari's Shoot at Sight Order Is Coup Against the Electoral Act

I find it very worrisome that President Buhari is once again attempting to rape our laws like he had always done in the past ..

In 1983 is raped our laws by illegally removing an elected democratic govt despite what our constitution said about the ways a Nigerian President could be removed..

Just recently Buhari again attempted to use the the DSS to forcefully remove the Legislative leadership contrary to what out constitution stated .

Again the president tried to remove a serving CJN and appoint his own using imaginary powers he didn't have a problem that has now left our Judciary in tatters with with two CJNs

Why Today's Call Is Another Attempt to Suspend The Electoral Act.

The Nigeria Electoral Act is a set of laws that govern the conduct of Nigerian elections and there is no where in that electoral act where the death penalty is suggested for any Electoral crime at all, in Fact the law is even very clear on the fate of Ballot Snatchers under it and I quote

Section 129 (4) of the Electoral Act states, “Any person who snatches or destroys any election material commits an offence and is liable on conviction to 24 months imprisonment.”

In terms of electoral violence, the act stipulates in Section 131 that anyone found culpable “is liable on conviction to a fine of N1,000, 000 or imprisonment for a term of three years.”

Buharis statement is nothing but a clear suspension of our electoral act, infact a coup against the electoral act that was put in place to protect the electoral process and by making such a statement Buhari is attempting to suspend the act to give rise to anarchy and Jungle justice which will eventually cumulate into gross human rights abuse and intimidation of voters significant enough to alter the result of the exercise in Buhari favour..

Buharis statement must rejected by anyone who has a conscience and the fear of God .

Many thanks....SarkinYarki Bello
save urself long epistle snatch ballot and die

Jonathan won all Yoruba speaking states in 2011 except Osun state. However ACN won the governorship races!

I can't say Atiku will win outright but he is guaranteed at least 40% of the votes and he might win 1 or 2 states which may be Ondo and Lagos state.
sleeping on a bicycle.ACN led by Tinubu supported jonathan in 2011.
Atiku cannot win any southwest state .forget the social media noise 80% of them dont have pvc while only 10% come out to vote on election. Politics is local and for grass root. The real election voters re farmers, artisans, traders, union workers e.tc who attend ward meetings and the congress election
Big grammars on social media dont win election.
Pdp Died the moment salvador ,Obanikoro, mimiko, omisore switch allegiance to another party.
Fayose is left with carcass of the pdp. Even fayose state there is mass defection of party lawmakers and party chieftains to Apc because of the power tussle him and senate minority leader olujimi.
There is no trace of Pdp in ondo it died with the departure of mimiko.
Atiku will be lucky to get 30% votes

I thought you people said all election since 1999 has been rigged except that of 2015? So you know agree it was free and fair..

Infrastructural development you say? I laugh who hunger don beat, wetin he want use infrastructure take do?
sorry south west is not Hungry for food only. Fayose stomach infrastructure couldnt save him and his stooge. We re Hungry for infrastructural development, being a Key players at National politics cos that is where critical decisions re made and Regional Economic integration like in awolowo Days.
We can only achieve this things in Apc .4 years into apc south west has benefitted in infrastructural programs more than pdp 16yrs. A landmark infrastructural project lagos to ibadan standard guage railway is at 90% completion stage. Meaning you can live in lagos and work in ibadan. FG has declared free train ride from lagos to Abeokuta it means farm produces rotting away in ogun state can come to lagos lesss than 30mins after being harvested. Unlike before that traders have to pay out of their nose to different checkpoints to move their goods down to the lagos

[quote author=ORIENTATION101 post=75449812]See benin and igboman predicting who will win election in southwest lol.
Atiku cannot win any state in southwest .pdp was on Ground in 2015 with federal might and enough dollars to go round yet they only won 1 out of 6 .
Now that apc has completely Dominated south west and Federal might in posession pdp funs re dreaming of winning 2 states grin cheesy

Let it be known he that has ears 2019 has been done and Dusted for apc in southwest.region. Apc party chieftains and foot soilders re out next week to make a statement ahead of 2023 .
Apc re out nextweek to kill reminants of pdp still breathing in southwest ahead of 2023.
The last time pdp contest election in south west region without federal might in 1999 they lost woefully. History is about to be repeat. y'all trying hard to make Yoruba look tribalistic like the igbos thinking they'll vote according to ethnicity...

They've proved over and over again that's not true, dont let sentiment becloud your judgement and see the south west is always divided and they vote base on performance of the incumbency..
if it is based on perfomance Then atiku should be expecting 10% pdp has no infrastructure to campaign apart from hunger and herdsmen blablabla which southwest doesnt buy the propaganda.
You see obasanjo killed AD in southwest in 2003 after deceiving them to work for his re-election. That AD party that he thought he killed has Risen again and now a cofounder of National party called Apc.
The last time pdp compete without federal might they lost woefully in south west in 1999 they didnt win any gubernatorial seat. same fate will befall them next week.
