Dating And Meet-up Zone › Re: How Can A Black American Girl Get A Nigerian Guy? by Orimili(m): 9:02pm On Jun 03, 2009
angelgirl1:
I am just asking for reference. Are they too culturally incompatible for the relationship to last?

What are some good places for an American girl living in America to meet a Nigerian guy?

I have a bf I am asking for my sis.
You can find them pretty much anywhere, but the more important question is why does your sister desire to meet Nigerian guys? Is there any specific reason? What makes a Nigerian person different from any other good hearted, responsible men?
Romance › Re: Do True Love Really Exist? by Orimili(m): 12:47am On Jun 03, 2009

Guys I dnt knw if there is any thread like this in the house but I will luv us to talk about this. With this trend of "FOR BETTER FOR STAY FOR WORST FOR GO" attitude among our girls this day baffles me. Some girls now took relationship as a bizness of making ends meet, most expecially those in higher institution wanting to put on the best cloths, drive the best car, lives in mansion, use the phone witout investing a penny in it. Now to the guys who are the main genesis of the problem wanting to count the number of holes they port as each day passes-by there doin all sorts of SHADDY BIZNESS all in the name of showing girls in town dt they have arrive as well as upgrading there list of holes. I believe in love and I knw that it exist but how true and geniue is it. Pls let talk about this cos it affecting our life, our future, our evry thing. Waiting to read. "No Long Thing".
I guess someone doesn't know how to use the search function. This question gets asked at least four times daily.
Romance › Re: I'm 27, She's 16: Should I Disvirgin Her? by Orimili(m): 12:41am On Jun 03, 2009
lets see, according to the standard creepiness formula ((1/2)*your age + 7):

(1/2)*27 = 13.5 + 7 = 20.5

Rounding up to the nearest whole number would bring the figure to 21

According to this factor, even dating a girl younger than 21 is ill-advised. To even question whether it would be ok to "disvirgin" a 16 year old, the OP knows good and well that such an action would be wrong, and is just looking for any excuse to go ahead and do it.

TL;DR: OP is a pedo

I think you are pretty, if it is your profile photo on your profile,
She's definitely pretty if her real life identity happens to be Oluchi Onweagba.

I have been searching couldn't find anything. Will you just answer my question? I am sure it won't hurt you to answer.
Because there is no answer to that question. If anything, this thread will start yet another flame war, and your 'question' will still not be answered.

toasting: to woo a babe.
Interesting, I'm curious as to how the word toasting came to be to describe the initiation of courtship.

Actually, I was about to comment on the growing popularity of people using animated gifs in every one of their posts, especially Starstruck, as it is getting extremely irritating, but, whatever, people are free to do as they wish.

Excuse me for sounding like a complete novice, but I keep reading about this 'toasting.' What is toasting, and what does it entail?
Romance › Re: Is It Right To Date This Girl by Orimili(m): 1:53am On Jun 01, 2009
platinumnk:
wait until shes 18
I agree with others. OP, wait until she is 18. Especially in the South, they can get you for statutory rape if things don't go well between the both of you guys. Besides, if you don't know whether you should date her or not, you shouldn't date her, as either she or you are not ready for a relationship.

could it because they not confortable with it or maybe they dont want others to see them, some peole would rather put celeb picture instead of theirs Y Y Y huh?
No, bitch, it's called anonymity. That's what the internet is about. If we all started putting our pics all over the internet, then it would defeat the purpose of privacy, wouldn't it?

Also, since you're complaining, where is your profile pic? Do you rather put cars in your profile because you are afraid of how you look, or are you too not comfortable with your own self? Why, Why, Why?
U won't be the first geezer to sleep with 3 friends in Naija and you won't be the last!!!!
Cut your losses. . . . . .Girl B actually STOLE you from Girl A.
She will def'ly do a runner when she gets to the UK.
Call her up and call it off.
I agree with this man, you're being played and you don't even know it. As easy as it was for you to come between her and her friend, it will be just as easy for someone else to come between the both of you in your current relationship. This is a disaster waiting to happen.

ElRazur:
Oh wait, another insecure poster. Do you think you own her, just because she paid you a visit? So she automatically becomes a LovePeddler and what does that say about you? A gigolo? Lmao, Please don't make me laugh. grin

Should I take you serious because you are on nairaland huh I am sure you can see the logic. Please deal with people as individual instead of trying to lump them together. Give her a chance and get to know her, things aint what they seem sometimes.
Elrazur wins! There has been a lot of these nonsense threads on nairaland lately, and I'm glad people are starting to put others in their place.
Romance › Re: Tall Guys Faces Challenges Too by Orimili(m): 4:58pm On May 13, 2009
True, it is quite a lot, but it is usually offset by the rather short average NBA career length of about 5-10 years.

Also, about the gay thing, I don't really know exactly why she is gay, maybe she was always that way or bisexual, but she always complained about people not wanting her because of her height. That is more believeable than you think. Maybe she did look in the wrong places.

Romance › Re: Tall Guys Faces Challenges Too by Orimili(m): 3:58pm On May 13, 2009
I don't know if being gay is a choice or not, I haven't really probed her about it.

Also, knowing people in professional sports, being in the NBA doesn't guarantee you a million plus salary, most players, especially the 7 footers, will not see more than 300k per year. You would have to have more marketable skills to make more money. Look at Allen Iverson, he isn't tall at all by NBA standards.
