I will always advise people to come to Canada, since I landed I’ve enjoyed quality and better life. I link up with someone here, we both attended CNE n run few gigs, he wants to be anonymous so I won’t mention his monika. What i won’t advise is illegal route, it can be harsh but that’s the truth. LMIA and STUDY route still remain the best option to covert vv to work permit, but advising ppl to pay for lmia or seek asylum, I will never advise anyone to try that. Also mind what you post online, background checks can be done on you anytime pls be careful. I will advice you take it down, internet never forgets o. It’s not everything you say online, it’s for your own good.

Please pls come to Canada but pls be prepared, instead of spending on LMIA why not channel it to school and get a career path? God help us, my 2cent.

Yes it is possible. It is called visitor record. They can do it themselves by just applying online without involving any lawyer.

Sir,extention of visitor visa is not automatic and you have to give geniunue reason backed with evidence why you wamt to stay beyond 6 month in canada on vv or ur request will be rejected

Let assume I got 5yrs Canada visitor visa which is multiple entry and the max period I can stay in Canada as a visitor on a single entry is just 6month does this mean I can return to my home country and the return to Canada without applying for visa again as long as the visa is still valid?

They allow 6month but if you stay beyond 3 month on a visit Just no rush come back till after minimum 1 year or u go face many many introgration at poe if u rush back after spending more than 3 month on one entry.another guy spend 5 month and 2 week in canada but no lmia but based on agent advice .bought plane ticket to mexico spend 1 week amd return to canada...he dey ondo is hometown now as dey refuse him entry and send back to lagos! Within last 3 months ,l was attack on this forum becos some quack expert sharing misleading info about convert from vv to wv and now we see is now is not as easy as people think..this man is better off coming to canada as a student instead to face all this stress as things be now..it either he face refugee claim to cook is story or pay lmia which is risky bevos many scam.but staying illegal after 6 month no worth it in canada ..too risky to live in canada without documentation for the sake of the children he need act fast!!

Bros thanks for the update, buy here is another point you miss. I am currently on Visitor's Visa in Canada, I inquired to apply to Truck driving schools , they both told me that I must have my "G" License first before I can apply to Truck driving school, even with their $13k CAD school fees ooo.

I told them I have over 10years experience in Driving, and just want to enter the Truck driving industry. They no reply me.

Now to get a "G" License, you need to get a G2 first ,( exempt or do exam to get G1 , that one na for entry level. ) then drive in Canada for 1year to get your "G" , before you enter Trucks.
Also na Indians full this truck driving work ooo ...on the road I de watch every truck that passes me to see who be the driver.. Honestly, na 99% Indians de drive them .

So saying just come to Canada on Visitors Visa and enter truck driving na Lie.!!!!! I am here now August 13, 2023.

Actually you can go straight to full G drive test after ur written test WITHOUT waiting one year only if you bring a letter from frsc nigeria that u havemore than 2,years experience you can go directly for Full G test but as per truck ..u need get the license and start from within city driving but just learning truck driving 2 month cannot get u lmia..it a risky job in canada and companies want a person with good experience in canada and it true the indians dominate the truck sector in canada..truck driving is a good profession but takes time to get into the main line not the way thoes quack saying it becos our people like fake juicy story, go and check the guy story and see many likes..so sad!!

But nobody will tell you you can get a bank account with a VV.

Nobody will tell you , after opening the account you get an instant loan/credit deposited for your use if you need it.

Nobody will tell you even if you come to Canada without knowing ANYBODY. There are shelters you can go to, free food and accommodation pending when you find your feet.

So many untold facts wey you no go hear.

But if na the negative one ehen. You can’t open account, you can’t buy sim(ANOTHER lie o. Them dey sell sim for airport sef , you can’t rent house. All sort of nonsense. 😁

Bros be calming down, if you read through his comments you'd realise he didn't just travel based on insha'Allah, he went there with a plan and part of his plan is to get an account set up immediately he lands. Like someone said up there if that place no gel for you no mean say everyone that lands with a VV will experience same. Yeah we understand you're trying to sound a note of warning to intending travelers to prepare themselves ahead of their journey but please there are better ways of passing information without demeaning others.

I wish everybody well,but Am hurt becos many of this people are selfish and self centered,another young man with vv will think it that easy to land ,and arrange him.or herself ,change visa and live ok but in reality many of people like him have the cash,family support ..so do not omit that aspect that u do not just land and get things started you have ground support..so encourage others to look for ground support too and not just buy ticket and face rural area only to be disapointed...many like him share funny advice here and they land and now in refugee camp themselve and we no see them again

You canot not secure a job with a visiting visa but can convert it to a work permit after going through a job offer..lmia and finally wotk permit...hope that helps....note one you are in Canada...look for whom to employ you...av seen someone gibe through this and is presently approved and working in Canada.its a legal way of staying in Canada

I just arrived, since on Thursday ahhh

Flight 11:45pm on 22nd arrived Amsterdam past 7am.
Next flight for 12pm Netherlands time, we boarded and one story to another by klm for 4hrs inside plane then on the run way moving already before they said AC is bad etc they sha cancelled the flight booked for only one night for hotel and flight is supposed to be in 2days time(Saturday 5pm) and my conference is on friday abi what is this nothing wey man fit do. They said the hotel will update it... OK ooo.
We sha wait to use hotel that's outside of the airport, immigration refused because we don't have schengen or Netherlands visa but later they sha run Background check and gave some of us 2days stay visa inside Netherlands and passport stamped naxo I sha enter and still see my elder brother.

Back to the hotel matter, after first night and now check out time na im hotel ppl tell us say klm paid for 1night and we had to leave(this happened to all ppl in different hotels) we got back to airport and klm told us to pay for 2nd night including other expenses and we will be refunded... issorite ooo

Saturday sha came and we zoomed but then some people are still left as plane over full and klm asked for volunteers who are willing to cancel their flight and will be compensated... to cut it short we landed successfully.
