Please brace yourselves. Most of us here on this forum are visitors/tourists who visit regularly on holidays or programmes and return to Nigeria afterwards. Forget the online talk about labor shortages. In your previous message, you mentioned being a student traveling to Canada last September, but now you're a parent.

Regardless, if your parent is planning to visit even u arrive yesterday, you should compose a letter confirming your student status with supporting documents and ur parent coming to visit canada. Keep in mind that as a student, you cannot sponsor the visit, so your parent needs to provide evidence of the relationship and proof of funds for the trip. And make sure it same parent on ur visa form and now coming to visit you. You cannot have multi parent...goodluck

You can apply canada visa online but Usa embassy in canada require you book
appointment ahead to attend visa interview unless you qualify for dropbox ..so check the waiting time before you face canada with hope to renew ur usa visa in canada

the agent packaged the same as for my previous friends like 6 people and they all got visa .....it tourism for 7 days and even tourist packaged booked with hotel reservation .the agent said other 3 people he applied in august were also refused maybe visa quota for the year is closed and we wait till January to reapply...am just doubting is excuses

let be honest with ourself of the 6 people that u know that got visitor visa with no travel experience and left to Canada on tourist visa ...how many have return to Nigeria ?? then we know the reason while refuse is getting higher now especially for people with no travel experience

Sir, in March 2019, you applied for a Canadian visa, but you were banned for misrepresentation and it automatically carry 5 years ban . In 2021, you reapplied, even though your previous biometric data is valid until 2029, and the ban is supposed to elapse in 2024. Why the rush to reapply again in november 2023 , and why did you indicate that you want to provide new biometrics?

That how l started the sentence and this should answer ur questiom meaning they applied after August 2023 I was on this forum earlier this year when some individuals,agent, either misinformed or over sabi confident, were discussing LMIA. I warned them, but many still arrived in Canada on a visitor visa and ended up stranded after losing money to agent and fake hope of LMIA, ultimately resorting to claiming asylum unprepared. One person even got kicked out of the forum. So l know people like u and ur aim to create fake hope but
I understand the reality and don't base my words ,actions on sentiment but on facts. Given the current situation and the increasing abuse of visitor visas leading to fake asylum claims, there is a 80% chance that those who applied recently for canada tourist visa without family in Canada or with no travel history will face rejection especially age (18 to 55). We've already started seeing such cases, but people may be shy or embrassed to share their refusals here. Despite negative comments, reality is evident. Feel free to criticize me, as it happened during the LMIA era, but I stand by my words. People may like your comment to maintain hope, but the reality is undeniable. THAT my final words ..do not sell ur property or give any agent money they are not visa officer even if thry get 100 approve earlier it a changing period..be wise and smart!

To interest you, 5 of my friends with no history applied for Canada tourist visa Oct 12 and did biometric 18th, of Oct. Got a request to submit passport Dec 22.



I won't like to talk further about mine...

But all you need to understand is that you have to submit necessary documents to enable you get a desire request.


Also often times when your appointment is taking to long before getting response from them it is 90% certain you will be granted Visa. But people who get refuser get it very fast within few days/weeks.

When did those your acclaimed friends submit and did biometric?

In 2018, we obtained Canadian visitor visas valid until 2022. Due to work commitments, we were unable to visit from 2018 to 2020. At the time of visa issuance, we had limited connections in Canada. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we discovered we were expecting a baby and decided to give birth in Canada, where both my wife's sister and my sister's family had relocated. This choice was made due to the stronger family support system in Canada instead of the US.
While my wife faced no issues entering Canada, I was flagged and stopped during my connecting flight in Berlin to Toronto. I was questioned over the phone

- [ ] How long will you stay? 3 weeks
- [ ] Are you employed ? Yes , with will be working for home while in Canada
- [ ] Do you own your home in Nigeria ? Yes

Then he said please give the phone back to the attendant then she told me to contact immigration services as they haven’t cleared me to join the flight because I had a US visa so I changed my flight to connect the US and the plan was to go to enter through the land border in New York at least that will be a face to face conversation with the visa officers. On landing US my baby had already arrived and i called IRCC but the kept telling me they have not issues on case while left me confused . I just lost will power and came back home

This are the big questions?

- [ ] Employment letter (promotion , salary increase and offer of employment )
- [ ] Landed property documents
- [ ] Travel insurance covering our annual vacation
- [ ] leave letter ( for both of us)
- [ ] payslip 6 months ( for both of us)
- [ ] company ID card ( for both of us)
- [ ] marriage certificate

Ur best approach is to firstly order a gsms note then u will see the reason why ur visa was cancelled then you can reapply accordingly..you have a good travel history and the document are ok!

It has always been like this since. Maybe you are novice or something. If yes, there is what is called documents submitted. As such when your documents aren't okay such as proof of funds, home ties, pay lips, marriage certificate/ pictures, landed property etc do you expect them to grant you Visa? Certainly not. So that's what happens to one's you claimed to have seen. Do the right thing when applying for Visa

Sorry you very wrong 100%....canada visit visa used to be very difficult but canada visa rule was relaxed since last year to clear the backlog and many people got visa with little effort and zero travel history but now am telling you it back to normal process becos many thst got visa as tourist end up claiming asylum...leave it or tAke it...that fact am telling you!!

You can but you need to have a job offer that is supported by a labour market impact assessment (LMIA) or an LMIA-exempt offer of employment, submit an application for an employer-specific work. ..but how easy to get this jobs when they are thousands refugee, student ,pr holder all with work permit and employer can easily pick ahd start work immediately without lmia application..Ask people that arrive canada with vv and how they surviving not all this fairly tales u read online 2 to 3 month this page was filled with all this truck and lmia gang but today many of them dey asylum camp in toronto while lmia become impossible and faced with reality ..just prepare ahead if you coming to canada on vv and have a backup plan.

Go for the AZ it much better because that were the main bucks is. Some trucking school charge about 5k for that. And if you don't have the funds for that, you can go for the DZ and start from there. Let me give you a hint as you are learning the truck in Nigeria don't forget to make allot of video of yourself driving the truck. After you have you certificate. Most trucking school will refer you to employer and the company will always want to ask for experience. With proof. This is were the video you have make about you driving truck will comes to play. You show them the video and trust me you will be employ because truck driving job is in demand job all over Canada company go rush you. Na you go tire for work

This is the wrong place to be asking that question because people on this forum will discourage you and you will not achieve anything. Now back to your question about truck driving. You can get a Canadian truck license while on visit visa I repeat don't let anyone discourage you. First before you travel to Canada get your Nigeria G license and driving history from frsc. When you get to Canada you will enroll for a g1 license when you get that you will skip the G2 because you already have your G license from Nigeria, then you enroll for the G license in Canada. With your Canadian G license you will be able to enroll in a trucking school over there. And believe me an LMIA job is always waiting for a truck driver over there. Remember you need money to do all this so travel down with atlease 8k cad. Like I say don't listen to anybody that want to discourage you in achieving your dreams. Where in the Atlantic region? I know is not possible in Nova Scotia. Unless it is LIMA exempt jobs, you need a LIMA to convert visitor visa to work permit in Nova Scotia.

I think you are the one misinformed over here as a visitor visa holder I get to Canada on a visit visa and I apply for a job and the company agree to offer me a job with an LMIA. I can then change me visit visa to work permit just agree you don't know about this and let's move on from here. There are so many ways you can convert you visit visa to PR in Canada even in Atlantic region. You can get a job as a visitor visa holder in the Atlantic region in Canada. Once the employer is under the designated employer in the region you can convert you visa to work permit and even get pr faster than people that choose the school route. No need of LMIA in Atlantic region, the company only need to endorse the employee then you will be qualify to apply for permanent resident.You are no wiser than Canadian government that made all this possible...

Bro,you cannot live in canada illegally it extremely difficult ...so better face asylum so u get work permit atleast u go get 2 or 3 years to stay before ur case get rejected and u face house on deportation order and that bye bye to usa and canada forever or go back nigeria now you have maximum 6 month but no stay beyond 3 month on vv. Or try switch to student visa if you can afford it....canada is not usa ,student full ground with work permit, pr full, asylum seeker with work permit full ground too ..to survive as illegal immigrate is extremely hard in canada and winter coming soon.

My father’s PPR came on September 18 and when we checked, there was passport submission appt on the 19th! So it’s possible.

I will always advise people to come to Canada, since I landed I’ve enjoyed quality and better life. I link up with someone here, we both attended CNE n run few gigs, he wants to be anonymous so I won’t mention his monika. What i won’t advise is illegal route, it can be harsh but that’s the truth. LMIA and STUDY route still remain the best option to covert vv to work permit, but advising ppl to pay for lmia or seek asylum, I will never advise anyone to try that. Also mind what you post online, background checks can be done on you anytime pls be careful. I will advice you take it down, internet never forgets o. It’s not everything you say online, it’s for your own good.

Please pls come to Canada but pls be prepared, instead of spending on LMIA why not channel it to school and get a career path? God help us, my 2cent.
