2 weeks is short better return to ur based if you still have the time left on ur ircc passport request time and submit in europe where u live .

Hello guys , I will be leaving for Canada in two weeks on a visit visa , but I did an upfront medical today because I have an intention of switching to study visa when I get there .

Now my questions are, is there an implication for doing the medicals when the medicals isn't even requested or required ?

And if it will be an issue can I ask Qlife clinic to cancel my medical and not upload it ?

Do not cancel ur medical becos it more expensive to do medical inside canada and it has no negative on ur visit visa until u apply a new visa like student permit before the system will megre it to ur profile pls note if applying for student visa inside canada, u still going to present same requirement but only difference is you will not need attestation letter currently required for student visa but start preparing ur application package even before u move to canada especiallly ur admission offer and pof..pls avoid school not offering post study work permit(pgwp).. and do not think it automatic to get student permit even when u apply inside..you will still be accessed based on ur application..good luck

I recently got approved for Canada visitor visa. I have two issues. I applied from Europe but currently in Nigeria now, I want to ask if I can get my visa stamped in Nigeria or it will be until I return back to Europe.

Also, the passport I applied expires in June so I’ve done a renewal and got new passport of which the previous one has been cancelled by NIS, do i need to write a letter to address this, go with both passport or just the new one.

You can get ur passport stamped anywhere in the world so far u have passport request from ircc ..and about ur passport u can just send a webform to exlplain it and u can send new passport for visa stamping and remember the time duration alocated to send ur passport

The man is not a canadian citizen and not a resident but Having a USA visa can expedite Canada visa processing, currently taking about 5 to 6 months even many people that applied in october 2023 are yet to recieve any respond . Anyone in urgent need of a visa like canada visa without a USA visa should consider alternatives, canada visa processing is not fast , as a respond before June seems unlikely in ur case. Most provinces will start issuing attestation letters for student visa processing this month , leading to a mass influx of student applications next month for September entry , increasing the workload. IRCC will likely prioritize student visas over visitor visas, potentially impacting visitor visa processing as well.

I need to travel to Canada urgently. Is there any way to expedite the application process?

I am divorced and applied with my three children. We traveled together to the UK and Germany last year, and now I want to take them to Canada for a vacation. Their father is covering the trip costs, and I included his consent in the application. I am concerned if my divorced status will impact the application outcome.

I initially intended to go for study, so I underwent a medical examination as part of my application. The latest status I can see is that I passed the medical examination. Will this affect my application, and will they be aware that I did it with the intention of obtaining a student visa?

There is no way to expedite your canada tourist application process for vacation as it is not an emergency . Your medical examination will not affect your visa application, as the system just updated based on your matching profile from the upfront medical test but you did not submit a student visa application and your divorce status should not have an effect on your application, considering your good travel record. Still, hope for the best.l wish u all the best

If it was for tourism, the money could fly for a family of 4, but her US interview has brought about a change on how the VO MIGHT review her application because of the expectant baby who was to be birth in the US(no more applicable) as seen on US database as the ground for inadmissibility

She has birth two kids in the US and she didn't use that to abscond but resides in Nigeria with her family....I trust God this should have a positive impact on her application because if she had wanted to run, she would have done that a long time ago.

It is true that she could have birth her baby before IRCC final decision, but what if a decision was made before approval, or what do you think? Even if she dropped the kids for the purpose of POF because of birthing plans, they still have nothing to loose as US citizens. They can fly as a whole family next time with their US citizenship.

The primary factors that the border officer will consider are finances and arrangements because giving birth in Canada on a visitor visa is not a crime but not cheap. Good point you made but what she applied is visa to visit canada as a tourist and not for birthing purpose as at when she applied even if she add her children to the application then 28m is still about 24000kcad as at today oanda exchange rate which is more than enough for 4 people for a few days tourist visit to canada..l think best option is just to hope for the best and wait visa officer decision becos withdrawing that application now and starting afresh the child could have been born even before a decision is reached .

Our honorable visa officer on Nairaland (lakeside3020) has spoken so start getting ur ticket money ready and packing your bags . but for me l still disagree with that statement because l have seem people visa get approved and refused over or under processing time .. Firstly, if you had your previous two children in the USA on a B1/B2 visa, why would you need an interview again to secure a new visa instead of using the dropbox option? Moreover, your previous USA visa should surely enhance your chances of obtaining a Canadian visa. The Canadian visa officer will compare the date you applied with the date your USA visa was refused. Some officers might still send you a procedural fairness letter to explain this, noting that you have not violated any regulations. Indeed, some people are refused entry to the USA and still obtain a Canadian visa. Therefore, your USA visa refusal under Section 214(b) is not a ban; it simply means you were refused without having committed any crime. So, just relax, pray, and hope you get the Canadian visa approved.

Na me the werey first contact he said he want to apply for visa for his elder brother and asking me some questions and I was answering him honestly, he ask me he want his brother to migrate to Canada, I simply gave him all the option, I told him his brother can go for express entry if age is still on his side, or apply to sch get admission and apply for visa after school he can change his status if he want. OGA, have you heard of LMIA . Someone on visit with a skill in demand can get a job with that document. It's very legal. You can switch to student while on visit and still get work permit.

This why many are getting stranded with visit visa becos LMIA is extremely very difficult and having that mindset of changing visit visa to work will get you stranded! So if you have in demand skill go for express entry let no agent decieve u!
