THE NEW COMMISSIONER OF POLICE IN BENUE STATE SHOULD ACT TOWARDS THIS IMMEDIATELY 56 ROAD BLOCKS FROM UGBEMA TO VANDEIKYA Yes you heard me right. 56 Road Blocks in between a distance of 65km is nothing other than madness. The number keeps increasing by the day. Imagine driving and having to stop at road blocks 1.18kms apart by average not for security checks but to be extorted. I was deliberate when a refered to them as such instead of check points. Those who man these points are simply Economic Saboteurs. A farmer who is made to pay at everyone of these points will simply make up when selling to the consumer. An analysis shows that BIRS has 2, VIO 3, Civil Defense 3, NDLEA 1, Nigerian Immigration Service 3, an illegal one just 30m from a police road blocks! after Akerior in Utange. The remaining 43 are police points manned by Operatives of Operation ZENDA , Highway Patrol, the regular Police or by whatever name they go. These people have abandoned their Constitutionally known roles and have instead chosen to become Tax Collector who hang their riffles loosely behind them with 2 arms stretched towards motorists. People are kidnapped daily and ferried on these roads without consequences. Go to any Divisional Police Office and all you hear is O we have shortage of Manpower. We now know where these guys are. I pray this gets to the Governor of Benue State who will take it up with the Police Commissioner in the State or someone higher. THIS MADNESS Has to stop. I come in peace. - Arc. Benue man announced missing now found dead. A Facebook user had earlier raised alarm about the missing Gwebe Yeshua Alabama. Dear Honourable Philip Agbese. It has become very necessary for me to write this letter to you because it's been days this your boy Gwebe Yeshua Alabama who happens to be our brother is been missing in Abuja. For sometime now, we've been having terrible experiences of Benue brothers missing casually like this in Abuja and the outcome is not always been friendly at all. Alabama is a brother who was fighting for the kidnapped corp members legally and was following up with NYSC, DSS, police and the rest before he got missing. Please sir, I don't want to sound authoritatively but the fact is that Alabama can not just lost in Abuja. Alabama is not even supposed to lost in Abuja. Alleged Criminal In Kano Joins Nigeria Police Force Months After Being Declared Wanted By State Commissioner In trending pictures, Abdullahi was seen with a senior police officer at one of the Police Colleges and Training Schools. An alleged notorious criminal, Nasiru Abdullahi, popularly known as Chile Maidoki who was recently declared wanted, has joined the Nigeria Police Force as a police constabulary. In trending pictures, Abdullahi was seen with a senior police officer at one of the Police Colleges and Training Schools. He is among the 10,000 police constabularies undergoing six-month long training exercise to enhance community policing across the country. In August, Abdullahi and two other notorious criminals were declared wanted by the Kano command with a bounty of N100,000 each. However, he turned himself in at the Bompai headquarters of the command few days after. A statement then by Abdullahi Kiyawa, the police spokesperson in Kano had said Abdullahi reported himself to the commissioner of police. He was quoted as saying he slept “at burial ground yards in Kano city just to evade detection by security personnel”. “One of the three notorious wanted criminals named Nasiru Abdullahi, popularly known as Chile Maidoki of Layin Falwaya Kurna Makabarta Quarters Kano has surrendered himself to the Office of the Commissioner of Police, Kano State Command, CP Mohammed Usaini Gumel, upon hearing the declaration of N100,000:00 bounty for his arrest,” the statement had read. “This brings a total of 100 documented and profiled Repentant Criminals being that so far surrendered themselves to the police command. “During the hide and seek regime the said repentant terror Chile Maidoki said to the police that he used to sleep at burial ground yard in Kano City just to evade detection by security personnel. “He is now appealing to the Police and the good people of the State to forgive him, that he has repented and is now ready to work with the Police to promote sustainable peace and development in the State. From your writeup above, I can deduce you have not done a comprehensive treatment. See after treatment, do some tests to see how far you have made some progress. There is no short cut to wellness. Please avoid some of these immune boosting and herbs. They will add to your cost of medical bills without giving you the necessary results. |

Anambra Assembly: Peter Obi’s call to vote LP candidates a landmine – Soludo By Vincent Ujumadu, Awka ANAMBRA State governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has described the call by the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, in the February 25 election, Mr. Peter Obi for the electorate in the state to vote for candidates of LP in Saturday’s House of Assembly poll as a landmine for him. Obi had during a meeting with LP House of Assembly candidates in Awka, said their winning would not pose any danger for the Anambra governor, assuring that they would work with him for the progress of the state. Reacting to Obi’s call, Soludo , through his press secretary, Mr Christian Aburime, argued that the call was deceptive and inappropriate, adding that it would amount to laying landmines for the governor. He said: “That call was meant to deceive Anambra people. Obi cannot be talking about development in Anambra and also be talking about asking Anambra people to elect lawmakers from opposition party to work with Soludo. “He worked with a legislature that was dominated by lawmakers from the PDP when he first came in as governor, and he knows that it was not easy for him. “He even suffered impeachment because of that and we hope it is not the same thing he wants to happen to Soludo. “Anambra people should go all out next Saturday and vote for APGA, if they want the developmental strides of the governor to continue. “You cannot be talking of development and at the same time advocate electing opposition politicians into the House of Assembly. Atiku urinated on graves of those killed by herdsmen in Ukum’ – Benue youths  By Seun Opejobi The Benue Youth Forum, BYF, on Monday, lashed out at the Peoples the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar over his comment on the recent killing in Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State by Fulani herders. BYF said Atiku urinated on the graves of those killed by Fulani herders in Ukum Local Government Area of the state. Terrence Kuanum, the President of the Forum, accused Atiku of justifying the killings in the area by Fulani herders. He said Atiku’s comment that the heinous acts were due to “sustained clashes between farmers and herders,” was condemnable. In a statement, Kuanum expressed disappointment over the “unfortunate message credited to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar in which he simply urinated on the graves of scores of people recently murdered by Fulani herdsmen in Ukum Local Government Area of Benue state.” He added: “That the PDP presidential candidate tagged the dastardly killing of children, women and the aged in their sleep as “escalation of intercommunal violence” clearly heightens the suspicion as to his level of insensitivity and complicity in the incessant attacks on Benue communities. “Equally sad and irresponsible is the comment by Alhaji Atiku that suggests that the killings in Benue state were caused by lack of inclusion and integration of people into communities where they live, work, pay taxes and raise their children.” The President of the Forum also accused Atiku of habouring hatred for the state Governor, Samuel Ortom. He added: “It is not surprising that Alhaji Atiku who has not hidden his hatred for Governor Samuel Ortom for his (Ortom’s) resilience towards ensuring that Benue people don’t surrender their lands to cattle breeders has never really been sincere in condemning the issue especially as his kinsmen are known to be behind the killings, maiming, destruction of property and displacement of innocent villagers from their communities.” The Forum charged the former Vice President to outline his strategy on how to tackle the killing of the people of Benue State if elected. He warned that Atiku should forget votes from the state if he fails to outline his plans on how to tackle these killings in the state.
