Politics › Re: Tension At The Villa As Buhari Rejects NSA Sambo Dasuki's Resignation Letter. by Orunto: 6:06am On Jul 09, 2015 |
Hadizam: Victoria Ayuwei, Per Second News---
President Muhammadu Buhari has rejected the resignation letter of the National Security Adviser Col. Sabo Dasuki, on the grounds that he has to account for funds received under his tenure running into billions of dollars. Per Second News exclusively gathered that the NSA’s plan to throw in the towel about a week ago met a brick wall as he was instructed to do a thorough financial house keeping. According to a credible source in the know, President Buhari sternly told him that the resignation letter was ‘unacceptable’ . Per Second News learnt that the NSA had written a resignation to the President recently requesting to voluntarily step down as the country's national security adviser. The credible Presidency source revealed that President Buhari's refusal to accept the resignation was prompted by investigation showing that huge sums of money are being unaccounted for due to improper filing of contracts papers under Sabo. The unaccounted funds poses a “significant financial risk and demonstrates a lack of internal control over the NSA’s contract actions, according to the source. “more than $50 billion in which contract files were incomplete or could not be located at all,” according to a petition alert. Investigations by Per Second News reveal that billions of dollars were funneled into a secret account known only to the NSA, Jonah Otunla, a former accountant general of the federation and the Director of Finance, DFA in the Special Services Office. It was gathered that the trio were the only ones with access to the account through which several transactions and deals were done without passing through the normal channel and due process. According to a source the outgone accountant general of the federation was lured with N500m to create that account unknown to the establishment through which they circulate the funds. “This is part of the mess Sabo has been instructed to clear before his resignation can be accepted by the President, the source said”. “He has been given back the letter. Col. Sabo Dasuki is still the NSA and if indeed he is serious about resigning, then let him write another fresh letter after a proper financial accountability has been been submitted, said a Presidency source. Sabo has come under increasing pressure over his leadership. Per Second News reliably gathered that the Presidency has received some petitions of alleged impropriety, warning that there was "something rotten" in the NSA’s office. Findings by Per Second News also echoed critics' concerns about spendings, and alleged lack of transparency and why billions of Naira were kept in the secret account. The Presidency is also concerned about some deals coming out of the NSA’s office, especially the issue of $9.3m South African arms deal, and repeated reports that Nigeria was conned into a failed Boko Haram “ceasefire” deal to the tune of almost $500m

This security expert, if not a bokoharam, he is something closer. How can one suggest the silly idea of sacking all the experienced men on this issue? It is either he is an slowpoke or just planning a coverup for bokoharam escape. This Country belongs to all of us and so, those military chiefs should not be replaced. The DG DSS should come from the se and not from Daura. Anambra is not Australia, therefore bokoharam prisoners should not go there. They should go back to ne to face firing squard. |

This is very serious. And now that the C.nC has deployed all our Military to protect the Fulani herdsmen in the North, who will protect the rest of us? Who will protect the South of Niger/Benue from bokoharam invasion? Bokoharam is sw, se, ss, and ec haram. Buhari can't stop them, mainly 'cos BH is BH. And when bokoharam finishes all the Christians in the ne, wc and some ec, they are coming to everywhere in the South. The sw, se, ss, ec and the wc should start feeling, thinking and reasoning forthwith on ways to prevent this impending adversary. Satan is on the Prowl!!!! |

Referendum! Yes! I am all for it. But can't you see that Buhari is not ready for anything of that sort? Even the Territory of NASS is being invaded with impunity just 'cos we have a retired military man, that is unable to tolerate other views than his in power? My brother, our youths nowadays are somehow selfish, irrational and wanting the future without caring for the adversaries waiting for them in that future. If you are not an athiest, the Bible values the spirit of honouring our elders. Those elders, like N. Azikwe, A. Bello, O. Awolowo, T. Balewa, M. Okpara and Akintola, I would have suggested are dead. The ones I gave before, are not even close to the insensitive description you gave them. They are living, hale and hearty and very knowledgeable about the Geography, Histories and Territorial integrity of Nigeria.. They have given all a good fight for Nigeria. They are passionate, selfless and can never be wrong of the prayers of Nigerians for a good Nigeria! I say this without fear or favour, there can never be separation of the Nigeria state without their authority and approval. So help us God!!!! |

Has the Police Right to invade NASS like they have just done under the Separation of Power rule? What about the Precedence of Tambuwal, in which the Police practically came back to appologise publicly to Tambuwal? Why byepass the role of the Disciplinary Committee of NASS? I believe it is this Committee only that can blow out criminal issues out of NASS and not the Police acting on orders from the Executive. We are not under Marshal law. Buhari has been a Dictator before but now learning to be a Democrat. We are all watching him succeed not fail. Let us not grind this Nation to a hault by lawlessness, recklessness and insatiable desire for domineering Presidency.. |

The only way to end the agitation for secession and self-determination is to allow the people to choose. O Yes! But in this very case of Nigeria, untill it has been deliberated upon and recommended appropriately by those who know Nigeria:- GOWON, OBJ, SHAGARI, IBB, ABDULSALAMI, GEJ, AND TRADITIONAL RULERS OF ALL OUR CAPITAL CITIES. These are the Custodians of Nigeria, its Culture, Traditions, Landmarks, Histories etc. LET THESE COME TOGETHER TO AGREE ON THE UNITY AND/OR PROPER SEPARATION OF OUR NIGERIA NATION. Let responsible people handle very serious ISSUE. |
