beckplanet:
Like @Promxy94 rightly pointed bro. Dot King or //King is a term substituted for Dot com by domainers.

This is because most domainers see the dot com extension as the superior extension that has value above the rest of other domain extensions like (dot org, dot net, dot info, dot biz, dot xyz etc)
They feel the dot com extension is way miles ahead than it's counterparts and that can be clearly shown in the price difference between the dot com extension and the rest extension(there's a big gap of value difference)

Hence they term the DOT COM AS KING OF ALL DOMAIN EXTENSIONS

Hence
dot com = dot king
//com = //king

And vice versa.

They all mean the same thing. King is used as a sing of respect to differentiate the dot com from other extentions by domainers and to remind ourselves that the dot com is still above the rest when it comes to value.
That is why we sometimes advice you to focus on dot com. wink

Peace cool
Thanks for the insight guys

PlayStation. Better exclusives and their willingness to trust their first party devs. Xbox shot itself in the foot a long time ago with their silly pre-launch antics - 1984 steez online check in, DRM, forced Kinect ownership & that silly attempt to destroy the used market. Some folks have forgotten, some of us remember clearly. They pulled a 180, but that initial hubris cost them greatly. The fact that their then head had the audacity to say "we have a console for that, it's the Xbox 360" when asked about the then purposed online check in and how it would affect those who played offline.

Xbox continues to shoot itself in the foot with the Xbox Play Anywhere feature, games sell platforms (especially exclusives), it always has, it always will. As much as I'll commend them for not forcing you to buy the same game on different platforms, it actually doesn't give you a reason to get an Xbox One console. For example, you want to play Horizon Zero Dawn? You can only play it on PS4. You want to play Breath of the Wilds? Get yourself a Nintendo Switch. You want to play Cuphead? Nah mate, I don't need an Xbox One, I can just play it on my PC.

In fact, the only really good thing that XO beats PS4 is backwards compatibility. Hands down, no question. All this talk of the most powerful console is just yarns. Graphics is not the be all and end all. The XOX didn't even make me want an XO, they kept going on about powerful this and that, but didn't talk about the games. Then, they started talking about native 4K, so? If somebody serves you the best looking s**t, it's still s**t. I'm surprised nobody tried to advertise guaranteed 60 FPS with all these half interation consoles, Bearing in mind, I never really notice the difference unless it drops significantly (y'all need to calm your tits, films are shown at 24 FPS, you didn't break, so chill). Remember, the Wii outsold the hell out of PS3 & the 360. I don't recall the Switch yammering on about 4K.

Xbox needs to step out of their comfort zone, with respect to their first party devs, they can't keep living on Halo & Gears of War. The cancellation of Scalebound still kills me and I don't even own the bloody console. Granted, they did try to do something interesting with Quantum Break, which broke (I couldn't help myself), Cuphead (old school video games with their wahala & the satisfaction it brings when you've conquered them) and Sunset Overdrive (this is honestly the reason I actually wanted an XO, see games not graphics, it just seems like a fun game). They seriously need more variety, their two go to games are first person shooters in space that revolutionised the genre, but are getting stale. I may not own an XO, but I do know folks at work who do and they won't shut up about how disappointed they're with Halo.
grin. I dey suspect you. You no dey play game sef. Dis 1na copy and paste.

Uninstall all the browser's on the tab and install chrome only. It has a feature that stop's it from accessing porn sites, even if u do a google search. It may b advisable to inform her parents so that closer monitoring and access time she has with the tab is better managed. Specific time's could b set 4her to use the tab since she's just 10 year's old. This could also help ensure she doesn't install other browser's when she see's that she can't find those sites any longer. Go to chrome website n check closely 4some extension tools u can install on the browser to give u better control. Some may enable you put some websites on the browser's blacklist so they can't b accessed.

for me I am a businessman for once in our life let say the truth; I want a business permit & license weiver for citizens only. I dnt want a loan or grants and I dont think startups needs a loan or grant.

last thing I want is 89% power supply boost.
Na so. Favorable business conditions 4citizens n interested investors. Business permits, licences, taxes shld all b made soft n easy 2process. Transparent governance. Politians must b tried equally as ordinary citizens n must b accountable n trustworthy. Even if an ex president is found guilty of any offense then he must serve d appropriate sentence prescribed by the law, even if it means 50 years in prison. Only then will other's b discouraged 2continu wit any corruption. Their basic salaries n allowances must b brought 2 a level similar 2 maybe a director in d civil service or jus a little higher, so that it wil not make it look lucrative 4people 2enta. Anybody goin into politics knows he is goin in 4d national interest not personal interest. Professors and specialist doctor's shld b paid higher than the politicians.

All our major challenges we face now that we shld not b facing r as an effect of corruption. With d resources tht r available in dis country, there is no reason y we shld not have like 90% power availability. There is no reason y we should b having fuel scarcity or FG staff goin on strike. There is no reason y food shld not b cheap.

Wen corruption is gone n there is proper adherence to the rule of law n favourouble business conditions, then we will thrive naturally as a nation. Everything go come arrange smal smal.

BusinessRe: How A Senior Energy Lawyer 'shoved Off' My Nuclear Power Plant Suggestion. by Os3e(m): 11:53am On Nov 09, 2017
Nuclear energy is totally not acceptable in Nigeria !! Though we lack adequate power supply, nuclear is not d way out. Several years ago maybe it cud have been an option, but not now in this present time. This is a time where climate change is carrying world headlines, where there is global concern and outcry for a departure from environmentally hazardous means of power generation and move onto more environmentally friendly and sustainable energy sources. We neva finish environmental cleanup for ogoni land, we wan go carry d one wey pass our power. Ogoni cleanup is estimated to last decade's, 20-30 year's (if the cleanup process is followed to the letter). The environmental and health implications wil kil us off as a country. Anybody agitating for nuclear has not sat down to think of the accompanying and associated problems connected to it. In Nigeria we have a terrible terrible terrible maintainance culture, in a nuclear environment you cannot afford to make a single mistake or cut ANY corner's because a single toxic chemical leak would b deadly to the whole environment where the plant is located. And we all kno that we all speak d common language of corruption in this country, so dere is no way d nuclear energy sector can avoid it. As a country we do not even have d medical capacity to cater to associated health implications and issues that will quadruple in number and complexity. Cancer of al types wil become an everyday thing. Even wen our president was sick,9ja no get d medical expertise to treat am, talk less of issue's related to poisonous gasses, deadly chemicals and so on. Ogoni cleanup is estimated to take decades, while issues relating to chemical contamination can be estimated to take hundreds of years to correct. Even the most technologically advanced countries are departing from nuclear power. Remember the issue of the chernobil plant in I think Japan or China (google it). Even with all their advancement their was basically nothing they cud do to help the situation once it deteriorated. Living things can't go there because of the level of harzadous radiation in the environment. Their technology allows them send robots into the area to monitor the radiation bt they can't go themselves. Nuclear power produces a lot of toxic waste and by- products which can only b disposed of through very strict methods and technologies. A lot of these technologies we do not posses. C simple niger delta where oil companies are dumping their waste any how. The implications and effects it has on the environment and inhabitants are like something out of a horror movie. Some communities who are affected were once thriving places of commerce and agriculture. Right now in some of those places u cannot grow a single plant or catch a single fish. D once fertile ground is now forever poisonous. So the implication of all this is sure death for Nigeria if we try it. Advanced countries these days are lookin and researching into naturally generated power source's, such as solar and wind and other innovative ideas. We need to go the same direction and not backwards. I think your boss was right to turn you down. I would have done d same. I think as a people we should take better care of the environment because we rely on it to take care of us also. Nigerians should STRONGLY reject this idea of nuclear energy. It wil do us no gud. Renewable, sustainable energy development is the way to go.

They mean different tins. Inquiry is a formal investigation. We might be used 2hearin some common ones e.g
'police inquest or police inquiry' that is 2say; the police r making a formal investigation into the mata. Enquiry on d otha hand simply means 2ask and sometimes expect a response. U can 'enquire' abt a person, u cud enquire 4directions, u cud make enquiry of something 2gt more information.

PoliticsRe: We Igbos Are The Most Confused Creatures On Earth by Os3e(m): 11:59am On Sep 23, 2017
cornel00:
We igbos are the problem to ourselves.
Once upon a time, i was made to see Yoruba people as my main enemy in this, country but not anymore.
Yes we can brag about our commercial exploits, education, talents, wealth, personalities but we lack unity.
Out of all the tribes in this country, Igbos are the most greedy, wicked, heartless, and selfish set of creatures.
I am a confirm onye igbo, born and brought up in the north, i am typing this because of the IPOB crisis here in the east. It's hard for me to admit but the truth must be told. I asked myself yesterday night;
If we are to get biafra what will come next?
Are we ready to be independent?
Do we have the resources to survive?
Is there love among ourselves?
After analysing all these, i come to conclusion that biafra is the worst that will happen to an igbo man, biafra will be a place where hatred is the order of the day, we are always the ones playing the victim card, we call Yoruba people all sorts of derogatory names, we blame everyone one in this country except ourselves. It was a Yoruba family that welcomed and gave me shelter in GBOKO BENUE STATE the year i was posted there for my jamb exam (you can hardly see an igbo man do this for his brother, let alone a stranger) my best secondary school teacher is a Yoruba man, we lack hospitality and love among ourselves.
I didn't know about this until i left north for east, an igbo man will rather sell his brother for a plate of porridge out of greed
We call Hausa this and that yes i don't even like them (the truth must be told), their religious and ethnic intolerance is something else, but we are not better either, we have made our land less convenient for our people that's why you see igbos investing outside igbo land. You will buy land in igboland and all the kinsmen in that community will try to feast on your pocket.
Yes we have most of the most corrupt politicians in this country. Those bastar.ds we call our leaders are the ones we supposed to hold accountable, Nigeria is not our problem, Yoruba people are the only people we can team up with, they are the only one we can ally with.
I use to ask myself why most of my trusted friends are not igbos, it's not a coincidence. It is from experience.
In 2015 i relocated from the north to the east, up till now I'm still regretting my decision, i will rather die elsewhere than to be consumed by hatred in igbo land. My maternal grandfather who is supposed to welcome me home, despite all the tenants that are paying him, could not let me stay in one of his rooms. My grandfather!!
My advice to my fellow igbos is that we should eliminate hatred in our lives, only then we can come together and think of the way forward.
My write up may lack proper contruction, as long as I've shared my thoughts I'm OK.
As for biafra matter, me and my household and extended family say no to biafra.
I stand for one united South in one Nigeria.
Long live south east
Long live south west
Long live south south
Long live Nigeria
PEACE!

Op I think u have asked a very simple and very core question of what happens next ? I like to look at things with logic and from a lay man's view. I am of the opinion that one must not go thru every experience oneself in order to learn. But that we can learn from the experiences and situations of other's; in order to make a better informed decision. Having said that, it can be seen that a majority of the countries in Africa, the middle East and worldwide that have walked down the path we r trying to walk now; have nothing to show for it. 80% of them are facing and are stil facing war, famine and disintegration. A total collapse of peace, security and stability. With all the numerous challenges facing the country, isn't it logical to say ours will be the worst of them all yet. Y then, do we want to so eargerly walk down this obvious path of destruction. On the other hand we have countries made up of diverse ethnicities who coexist as best as they can. Some have been thru their own wars and r trying to rebuild for many decades. Y can we not as a nation take examples from peace initiatives employed in other regions and modify them to apply to our situation. One common characteristic of regions that have had the same issues as us, is corruption and bad leadership. These are also our biggest challenges as a country. Y not focus on the real issues and try tackling them, instead of hiding behind the umbrella of seperatism. but the problem is that corruption has eaten in so deep across the nation, so much that it seems to be the general culture of all languages.

When I look logically at the present situation I say massive ignorance, especially among the youth plays a key role in everything. I place 50% of the divisive notions on the shoulders of the youth. I say this because we are too docile and seem very ignorant. We do not demand accountability and transparency from the same leader's we elect. They need to be held accountable for their actions. We do not ask questions as youth, all we know is crowd mentality. To go with the voice and action of the mob crowd without taking any time to consider the implications of our actions and decisions. Simple questions like where are we coming from? Where are we heading to? What legacy and impact can I leave in this world? What have we benefitted from war before? Wat will we benefit now? Wat kind of world do I want my children to live in? How can I better the cause of humanity?
Another high percentage of the blame can be traced to bad governance and social neglect because the youth are often victimized.

Showing allegiance to where one is from is a very good thing, but you do not need to bring down d roof in d process. If the only reason for the agitation is to show allegiance, then it is unnecessary. If it is not, then what r the aims and objectives and also d core reasons for the agitation.
One does not need to look far to see that we are one of the greatest nations in Africa and the world. Many countries who are doin better than we are do not have 1/4 of the resources we have. But we mis-manage everything. Our currency was once one of the highest in the world. Y can we not rise up to the challenge? We stil posses all the resources that put us in that position. we need to be able to mange our resources to improve our situation. Breaking up is never the way out. I think what we all must do is, imbide is the culture of tolerance for our neighbors and mankind in general no matter where ur from.
