Family / Re: AWidow That Didn't Visit Me When I Gave Birth Expects Christmas Money From Me by osarodon(m): 3:18pm On Dec 29, 2023
I don't tolerate ingrates, I had a similar cousin that even stayed with me for 5yrs and did same nonsense, I just blanked the idiot

Ememmmi:
I have an uncle that passed on early last year. My daddy told me he's my "uncle" but a distant relation because I don't know him in the village. We only met in lagos here so I think we are related but not close relation. Before he died, I use to send money to him especially during covid. At times he will ask and atimes I will send without him asking me. So when he passed on early last year, I was still sending the little amount I can afford to his wife. Its been 4 months I gave birth and she did not even come to see me. Her house to my house is about 500 transport fare to and fro. She knows there's no how she will come to my house and I won't give her cash even if at all she don't have transport fare.

She called me 2 days ago asking of Christmas money. I told her I will send it but inside me I am not happy honestly. People came from very far distance to visit me when I gave birth but this woman didn't even show concern. Anytime she call me will always be to ask of money. She said all her husband relative has abandoned her.
It is not like I don't have money to give her but her attitude is bad. She has only one daughter which she claimed she's in university. I don't know how true is that
Do you think I should overlook her character and give her the money

Technology Market / Re: Where Can I Get Quality Replacement Battery For Rechargeable Fan by osarodon(m): 10:16am On Jul 16, 2022
Nice idea

obiekunie2:

go to those selling motorcycle parts and tell them u want to buy that jinchen bike battery - i mean that big jincheng they use for okada.

i think its around 4k or thereabout.

then get wire from car electricians to extend the battery to be outside of the fan cause it cant enter the battery compartment in the fan.

after you connect it and charge it with the fan for at least up to 5 hours or more, it will be lasting you for up to 12 hours or more after full charge.

i connected it to my lontor rechargeable fan and it has been working sweet for close to 2 years now!

try this and u will thank me later.
Business / Re: How To Pay Your International Tuition Fee With Central Bank Rate(cbn) In Nigeria by osarodon(m): 9:48am On Apr 06, 2022
Nice one

LAAMGlobal:
In pursuit of academic excellence in countries other than Nigeria, one may be faced with many issues. One of the toughest is this issue of paying full or part of one’s tuition/school fees from Nigeria here.

Actually, there are many ways to pay your school fees to your school abroad while in Nigeria. Most students whose schools are in Austria, the USA, UK, Ireland, China, India, Canada, Europe, Australia, and so on would likely be paying their tuition in foreign currencies. Paying with the Central Bank rate makes it less expensive than when paid with other payment methods.

HOW TO PAY YOUR SCHOOL FEE WITH CENTRAL BANK RATE

Through the Use of CBN e-Form “A” Website (www.tradesystem.gov.ng)

This method is enabled by CBN and commercial banks. The CBN allocates and disburses a certain volume of foreign currency to all banks, and other approved institutions weekly. Then they are instructed to sell the foreign currency at authorized prices to Nigerians who genuinely need it.

You only qualify to use this method if:

You’re paying for school fees abroadYou’re a Nigerian paying for training abroadYou have an unconditional admission letter from the institution abroad

Tuition fees limit is $15,000 per semester and Upkeep fees limit is $5,000 per semester.

This is how to pay school fees through the new CBN website:

Step-by-step guide on how to pay your school fees abroad with e-form A using CBN Website (www.tradesystem.gov.ng):

Fund the source account with an estimate of the Naira value of the school fees. The source account could be yours (the student) or a sponsor. It is this account that will be debited for the transaction to pay your school abroad.Visit the CBN’s Trade Monitoring System PortalRegister with your BVN (individual) or TIN (organization)An OTP will be sent to your registered email.Verify your emailLogin and choose Educational FeesFill the necessary fieldsUpload the required documentsSubmit

Note: Once you submit, a prompt is sent to your preferred bank who reviews the transaction and processes it further. This process is subject to the bank’s availability of FX.

List of documents required to process the school fees payment abroad through Form A:

Making this list here is very important to ensure that you carry the correct documents to the bank. Here is the list below:

Your valid international passportAdmission letterInvoice from the school abroad containing the school account/IBAN numberWAEC result (for undergraduates school fees payment) or first degree certificate (for masters students)Sponsor’s identification document (if the student is paying through a sponsor) e.g. int’l passport, voter’s card, driver’s license, or NIN.

The only downside about this method of paying school fees abroad using CBN Form A is that the processing time is highly subject to the bank’s FX situation. Typically, payment of school fees to your school abroad is around 1-2 weeks.

Best to defer since you yet to get decision and nobody or agent could determine visa application response time except IRCC.

gregoma:
Good afternoon house, im new here with similar interest. My wife got admission into Cornestoga for a one year PGD program, we got denied last year and we reapplied this June. School has resumed since Sept 9th, still no visa or any updates yet. The agent (Maple academy) is advising that we defer till next year again but im unsettled by this as i think the agent isnt putting our best interest forward. If anyone has experienced this kindly advise on how best i should proceed.

Congratulations to her

Dame24:
Hi all!
My sister got PPR on friday!
I handled all her application process as I did mine also (2020) Her timeline is attached below. It was quite a frustrating process because her classes started second week of September and they required her to be around. They almost canceled her seat as she wasn’t able to do registration without study permit. I contacted the MP and they said security and background check has been passed but eligibility is yet to start. We decided to risk it by paying 3k Cad part of tuition. So we started sending mails and pleading with the school for more time because there’s no option for deferral and the $500 confirmation fee will be forfeited. She was eventually allowed to register and did the online portion of her classes. I was so stressed even mine wasn’t this stressful because I got medical request 6days after I submitted my application, even before biometrics.
Documents submitted are:
*SOP
*Birth certificate of her family
*Marriage certificate
*Sponsor's statement of account (8m)
*Sponsor's letter
*Sponsor's supporting documents (house and business documents)
*Her Business registration
*Family photos
*her statement of account (less than 100k)
*School admission letter
*School confirmation letter
*Passport page
Passport photo
*Ig business page
*University transcript (2006)
*O’level result
*business Certifications
*Police character
-IELTS result (non NSE but she had a valid result)
- declaration of age (she’ll be 40 next month)
She’s going for a diploma program
She did upfront medicals and her biometrics 2weeks after application submission.
*Home ties was established using her 3kids, husband and business.

It can only be God and I pray everyone waiting gets a positive decision. It really is not easy and not for the faint hearted. Can’t wait to reunite with her!

Congrations

Clairene51:
Long post

My first time posting but I hope my testimony encourages someone here
Program: MBA ( Fall intake, 2021)
School: UCW. Vancouver, BC.
PPR: 24th August 2021

After my BSc in Govt and Public admin, I thought I should just move to Tech since It was clear I didn't want to be in academia or politics.
I applied to Dalhousie University for a BSc, got admission in less than a month. Feeling eager to take over Canada, I read through the Lagos office requirement and applied on 18th July 2018, submitted an empty application (na Neco, Waec, First school leaving cert, etc full there)
The second correspondence for that application came in on 7th September 2018 and wow, I remember I was in school then, rounding up my defense and preparing for my clearance when the mail dropped. The refusal reasons were on Travel history, Purpose of visit, Home ties, and Personal assets.

After the first refusal, I got Frankrobbn email from NL and sent my GCMS to him (I think he wasn't charging then) after he reviewed it, he told me it was workable, then asked me to go for a course related to my BSc and sent some scholarship links to me( I told him not to bother because I'm not reapplying) he said okay o, just like that‍♀️.

2019-2020, I got the courage to reapply. All the schools I applied to (Msc) boldly refused me, got frustrated, and decided to leave everything and go do my Nysc...
2021, a family friend guided me. She gave me all tips she used in her successful application but then “No application is the same”. I applied on 18th March 2021, and that faithful morning of June 3rd, 2021, the second correspondence dropped with the same reasons as the first refusal.

I gave up trying and canceled everything about Canada the day I saw the refusal. I called some agencies that were in charge of UK applications so we can kick off asap... Only for me to wake up the next day and started thinking of Canada reapplication... My mind went straight to Frankrobbn1, he gave me the cold acceptance (aspa coconut head applicant) but this time I no send, I begged o,
He sha listened and pointed out my mistakes in my Sop, and documents in general so the next thing was for me to go convince my parents that I wanted to reapply for the third time. They accepted after many explanations with conditions of having a plan B( I got admissions from 3 different UK schools, and booked a late date in Aug for my medicals).

I paid for Frank's services and we started from changing of school to UCW. When it was time to reapply, Frank reviewed all my documents, flagged down some with reasons, and we finally submitted them on 28th June 2021, upfront medicals passed 7th July, same with eligibility, no update till 24th August, PPR dropped

Here's my timeline to the last application (in no particular order)

DOCUMENTS
1. Letter of Introduction from your employer.
2. Copy of Applicant’s Family Members Birth certificates.
3. University's Unconditional Official Letter of Admission.
4. Copy of Applicant's Birth Certificate,
5. Copy of Police Character Certificate, old one)
6. Waec
7. Copy of Applicant’s International Passport Biodata page,
8. Copy of Applicant's family picture.
9. Letter of explanation addressing the concerns of the visa officer concerning the last refusal grounds (prepared by Frankrobn1)
10. NYSC discharge certificate
11. Degree certificate
12. Transcripts
13. Deed of gift documents.
14. IELTS Certificate.
15. Study leave approval letter
16. Work ID
17. Resume
18. MBS
19. Board resolution letter for my sponsorship
20. Dads company Cac document
21. Article of Memorandum
22. Particulars of directors
23. Sponsors landed properties
24. Company performa and sales invoice
25. Sponsors two company  account MBS with sole signatory letters
26. Tax clearance

I had challenges which were;
First, my 4 years in the university, we were called political scientists and I submitted my first application with the name but after my clearance, I was handed a Government and Pub admin cert...
Secondly, my funds were enough but the company account(which seems like a 3rd party sponsorship) IRCC said I was mobile and single blah blah.

I must affirm that Frankrobbn1 of (fandrglobal.com) is professional beyond measure, he takes the hardest immigration cases and handles them with highest attention to detail, and to customer service. I disturbed him o (na 24/7 busy man) so you have to always remind him...

God pass IRCC
It will surely go round

Thank God for safe trip
After the study permit, were you issued work permit at the aiport too?

kunbeeee:
Wawu! A new thread. Congratulations to all those who have received their PPRs, may Canada favour you all. To all those who were delayed, please do not give up, order your GCMS notes (if you have not done so already), address the issues raised and reapply.

Here to give my Landing Gist o.. as e dey hot.

School: Mcmaster University, Hamilton Ontario

Flight Details: Lufthansa, 21st August

Covid test: I did my Pre-departure PCR test with Medicaid in Ibadan on Thursday 19th August, 2021. The results were sent to my mail in the early hours of Saturday, 21st August.

ArriveCAN: After confirming negative PCR test, I downloaded the ArriveCAN app on my mobile phone & answered all the questions asked (flight details, passport information, vaccination status, PCR test results, quarantine plans etc.). After completing the form, I took a screenshot of the ArriveCAN receipt for future reference.
** Because somebody here already advised to register at the Switch Health Website if you will be landing in Toronto, as it makes the pre arrival testing process faster, I also did this. You can register here https://www.switchhealth.ca/en/travel/pearson/ **

Documents: Before heading to the airport, I printed the following documents:
• PCR test result
• Enrolment letter
• Study Permit Approval Letter
• Proof of Tuition payment
• Acceptance letter
• Bank statements
• Rental agreement for where I will be staying during the 14 days quarantine

Check-in /Boarding process: I arrived at MMIA Lagos at about 4pm. I travelled with my boo and we had a total 4 check in bags, 2 cabin luggage as well as our back packs.
Upon entry in the airport, we were directed to the customs officials, who asked us what we have in our bags. Of course this was where we started being billed. LOL!
After this, we went to weigh our luggage. The weight limit for check in luggage was 23kg each. While that of cabin luggage and backpack were 8kg and 4kg respectively. All 4 of our check-in luggage were between 23.5kg and 24.5kg. Cabin luggage and backpacks were way above the limits but the person in charge was gracious enough to give us a pass sha. wink
** I was kuku expecting the person that will come and tell me to pay 6k for yellow card. So, I can use him or her to catch cruise. Alas, nobody showed up. **
Then we went for document verification. I was asked for my negative PCR test results, Passport as well as my enrolment letter. Because my enrolment letter did not state my date of resumption (September 7), I was asked for my class schedule and then I was cleared for boarding. We sha chilled in the airport till we boarded the flight at about 10pm.

Flight/Stopover: During the stopover in Frankfurt, I went through another document verification process where I tendered my negative PCR test results and my boarding pass.
If you will have a long layover in Frankfurt, you can take advantage of their Hollywood booths where you can watch selected movies for free. I slept wella here!!
Abeg, the flight to Toronto was very very bumpy and the guy seating behind me kept using his legs to push my chair. I almost changed it for the guy o embarassed.

Arrival in Canada: I did a self-verification which involved scanning my passport and answering some questions about purpose of visit, vaccination status, expected duration of stay in canada etc. Then a receipt was printed, which I had to use throughout the arrival process.
There were some very strict officers o. Telling people to stand aside and all. One girl was even sent back to the queue because she wasn’t wearing her mask properly. Me I was sha praying o, because I didn’t escape Buhari just to be sent back at POE. When it was my turn, I was asked for the receipt (from the self-verification process), my passport, purpose of visit, school & course name, vaccination status, enrolment letter, Arrivecan receipt, proof of accommodation for quarantine etc. Then I was told to go.
This part was funny, because I had seen the officers giving a paper to some people when they leave and I assumed this was the study permit. So, when the lady said I could go, I was like is that all? (In my mind, “Ogbeni, where is my study permit now?”) But turns out the paper was like a pamphlet for vaccinated people.
After this, I was separated from bae, because he is a PR. Then I was directed to another set of officers who actually issue the study permit. I was asked for my passport & acceptance letter, how much of tuition I have paid, where I will be quarantining etc. and then my study permit was given to me!!!
I went to get my luggage. I actually waited for my luggage for almost an hour. They kept apologizing for the delay through the PA system but luggage no come out. This was quite frustrating sha. After finally receiving my luggage, I went for the arrival PCR test. Guys!! This is where the registration at the switch health website is important o. If you see the long queue, I avoided just because I told them I was already registered. In-fact the whole testing process did not even take up to 10 minutes. So please, register at the website before travelling.

I know my gist is long but you people should manage it like that grin

Good information

Lekiboboe:

You are welcome honorable!!!

Only you can know if it relates or not.

An Automobile Engineer is different from an Automobile Dealer

One has a Mechanical Engineering perspective while the other has a Business Management

If you have work experience in Automobile Engineering, you can go for that mentioned PG. Cert program at Fanshawe College

Due to your Study Gap, there is a progression if you go for a PG.Cert program you have work experience in, you would be able to convince a Visa Officer on your SOP why you are going for such program.

You might likely not be able to convince a Visa Officer on your SOP why you are going for a PG.Cert Program related to what you studied 11 years ago, cos a Visa Officer can easily assume your knowledge about that kind of program would have become obsolete. That's no progression.

PG. Cert has no age limit

Good morning & Good Luck!!!

If yes, is the link to it on your résumé? If yes, is your employment/role with your employer detailed for the public to see or verify? If yes, what's the quality and depth of your linkedin contacts?

Just asking.

Thanks very for your time to respond and God bless you

Lekiboboe:

While you await a response as regards the bolded

This is my opinion

1) Yes, cos you are going for a program that its academic qualification (ordinary diploma) is lower than your already gotten degree. As a degree holder with years of work experience, a PG.CERT program is advisable.

2) Cybersecurity and Networking share some things in common, Cyber security is a subset of information security which deals with protecting internet-connected systems including hardware, software, programs, and data from potential cyberattacks. It protects the integrity of networks from unauthorized electronic access.
while
Network security is the subset of cyber security designed to protect the integrity of any network and data that is being sent through devices in that network.

Good day all,
I have a degree in industrial mathematics since 2002 and been working as an I.T professional (Networking) since 2004 till date
I am thinking of applying for an I.T course in Canada (Cyber security undergraduate Diploma 2 years) though I have not done any course on network security before.

My questions
1) Will visa officer think Diploma is lower than my current degree?

2) Does this Diploma Cyber security show path progression for me?

3) Can that 2years Diploma Cyber security give me 3years Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) in Canada.

4) Will I be able to use this Diploma Cyber security to pursue my Permanent Residence (PR) after completion.

5) Do Diploma Cyber security get one job in Canada easily.

Thanks for your time and I will like whoever that have information on this experience of Degree holder applying for Diploma (ordinary diploma) and got visa to help with the response.

Nice

JustMellow:

Hello Esosa4real,

Eseosa is a lovely name. Your Bini name caught my attention. Know that I am not bound to one particular tribe by association. I believe you may have gotten your answers, but here is my contribution.

If he intends to use the NSE stream since the consideration to sit for the IELTS test has been harbored, he can go for the "academic." This will help him include it to support his school admission application and then the visa application. Note that the test is not necessarily mandatory for English-speaking countries or persons whose prior formal learning was conducted in the English Language medium, and evidence can be provided. A letter of English proficiency and transcript from his graduate school will suffice to be granted a waiver.

The offered programs are his to research. Find some schools that are funding flexible:

• University of New Brunswick
• University of Windsor
• University of British Columbia
• McGill
• University of Victoria (recommended)

He can as well check for some related engineering programs in colleges. A pure engineering program in colleges at Graduate Diploma or Certificate study level could be painstaking to secure. Almost all are Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and/or UG programs.

So he can check related programs to his engineering study focus. The easiest way to know a (closely) related study is using the transcript to view some major courses taking from the second year during UG study. See some college names below.

• Humber College
• Lambton College
• Conestoga College
• Fanshawe College
• George Brown College

The program to go depends on what his prospect plans are for the study and how its importance can be demonstrated. For a fresh out graduate or young graduate, a Master will be wise whilst for a mature applicant with experience, a Graduate Diploma or Certificate is ideal. Also, either a Master or GD/GC suits will also suit the professional profiles of industry experts who are mature applicants, but a GD/GC will not academics.

Best of Luck

- Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL)
- Appointment letter
- Your International Passport
- 2 Coloured Copies of your International Passport Data Page

Make sure you print the above documents before going to the Center, cos if u don't , u would be left with no choice than to print them at an outrageous amount at the center

Note: Ignore any tout or anyone that comes to meet you that you need Passport Photograph, it is not needed

I did mine today,
1 - Face mask (very important, I ended up buying for #500)
2 - Don’t be late (I was late and it was costly)
Two copies of the following document (they must be in colored, except for the appointment letter which is fully black/white):
3 - Data page of passport (Don't forget, it must be colored)
4 - Appointment letter
5 - Biometric instruction letter (print all the 3 pages, *colored)
6 - International passport (it will not cost you anything to take it along with you, in-fact it was required today)

*Print everything before you get there because printing is very costly in the vicinity.

So sad that you so shameless to still open your disrespectful mouth when you tried scamming me of my genuinely earned money and you try to downplay it that is meagre change yet you were hustling for it criminal. You are already getting paid for your criminal intentions.
It is because it is online, I can bet you that might just be my first daughter age mate but continue cursing yourself as you have faulty foundation because none can get to me because you the fraudster here.

YOU HAVE BEEN BURSTED SO GO FIND A DECENT JOB.

How am I a scammer when folks are getting the exact Victor Ola's Guide sent to their emails? [b]We did not even transact business!

Do you even understand the gravity of what you say or you simply derive pleasure in tarnishing people's image?

You should be careful because things like this come around. Your name will get tarnished for no just cause just as you have done mine. I'm sure you have businesses...

The reason why I'm still engaging you in replies is because of this singular fact. If all you say is indeed true of my intention to scam then I would have avoided this altogether... But nah... You've just accused me falsely/wrongly and I assure you, you will get it back.

Folks are getting materials they pay for and you label me a scam? Just because you feel you can say whatever you want and possibly get away with it yeah?

Nah, you won't get away with this false allegation on me this time. You will pay dearly for it. I assure you this, it's a seed you've sown and you will reap it in due time.

Bold and block lettering won't still change how foolish you appear...

Silly.. I am not even denying anything. I only asked you to share the screenshot for all to see. It's because you're not still getting the whole point. Not your fault, your porous brain won't let you.

And yes, all clients that do patronize me pay eventually before I send them the Guide. The file I send them before they pay needs to be granted permission by me before they have full access to download.

(I even doubt you understand a word I'm saying right now cuz your brain is filled with scam)

Keep showcasing your folly shouting scammer about. Ode... I already made 2 sales today while you were shouting scammer scammer about grin kudos to you bro!

Another client is in my DM as I speak. Isn't God amazing? Mumu
